(Rudraksh)

Ruhanika: "Vo.. vo aadmi, vo ..bahaut bure hai, hume nahi pasand.x

(That... that man, he... he is very bad, I don't like him.)

Rudraksh gently wiped away her tears, his fingers soft and careful as they brushed across her cheeks. He could feel the weight of her pain, and it only deepened his resolve to be her anchor. Leaning forward, he pressed a tender kiss to her forehead, his lips lingering there for a moment as if hoping his touch could somehow absorb her sorrow and replace it with comfort.

Rudraksh: "Vo dobara tumhare samne kabhi nahi aayega Ruhhh, kabhi nahi. Koi tumhe kuch nahi kar payega."

(He will never come in front of you again, Ruhhh, never. No one will be able to harm you.)

Ruhanika: "Kya ab aap hume chod denge?? Hum aapke man ki dulhan nahi hai na, toh kon hai aapke man ki dulhan??."

(So now will you leave me?? I am not the bride of your heart, so who is the bride of your heart?)

Each of Ruhanika's tearful questions felt like a dagger piercing straight into Rudraksh’s heart, leaving an ache he had never known before. The pain in her eyes mirrored his own, intensifying the heaviness in his chest. He struggled to maintain his composure, but her words struck at his very core, tearing down any defenses he had tried to put up. This was a pain far beyond anything he’d ever experienced—seeing the person he loved so deeply hurting because of him, and feeling helpless to soothe her fears.

Ruhanika: "hum ab aapke bina nahi reh payenge, aap hume ek mauka denge aapke man ki pasand wali patni banne ka?? Aap jaisa kahenge hum vaisa karenge, bas hume mat chodiyega hum. Jee na...."

(I can't live without you now, will you give me a chance to become the wife of your choice? I will do whatever you say, just please don't leave me.. I can't live without you...)

Rudraksh couldn't bear to hear her doubts and pain any longer. His heart shattered with each tear that fell from her eyes, and without thinking, he cupped her face gently in his hands. His lips brushed against her forehead, then her cheeks, her eyes, her nose, as if trying to erase every worry, every tear. His lips moved across her face, tender and desperate, as if conveying everything he couldn't find the words to say. Tears of his own streamed down his face, mingling with hers, as they both silently felt the weight of the moment. He held her close, unable to say anything, because no words could fully capture how much he wanted to protect her, to shield her from any more hurt.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, meri baat suno, samjho aur phir jawab dena, thik hai??"

(Ruhhh, listen to me, understand, and then answer, okay?)

Ruhanika, still overwhelmed with emotions, slowly nodded.

Rudraksh: "Bharosa karti ho mujhpe??"

(Do you trust me?)

Ruhanika nodded once more.

Rudraksh: "Kya tumhe kabhi bhi laga ki main tumhare sath kuch bhi galat karunga??"

(Did you ever feel that I would do something wrong to you?)

Ruhanika shook her head, her movements slow and uncertain.

Rudraksh: "Main ye abhi nahi kehna chahta tha, tab kehta jab mujhe tumhe ye baat samjhani nahi padti par shayad yahi sahi waqt hai."

(I didn’t want to say this now, I wanted to say it when I didn’t have to explain this to you, but maybe this is the right time.)

Ruhanika looked at him with a confused expression, trying to understand the deeper meaning behind his gaze. Rudraksh couldn't help but smile at her innocence, knowing that there were so many things he needed to explain to her, but the right words seemed so elusive in that moment. He gently cupped her face, his thumb caressing her cheeks in a tender gesture. His touch was meant to soothe her, a silent promise that he would help her understand, to clear the fog of confusion that clouded her mind.

Rudraksh: "Us din jab pehli baar tumhe dekha tha na Ruhh, tum janti nahi par 17 saal baad mujhe yaha yaha ek sukoon mehsus hua tha"

(The day I first saw you, Ruhh, you don’t know, but after 17 years, I felt peace here, here in my heart.)

Rudraksh softly pointed towards his heart, his eyes locked with hers as if to convey something deeper, something beyond words. Ruhanika, still uncertain but moved by the sincerity in his gesture, gently placed her hand on his chest, right above his heart. The warmth of her touch sent a sense of peace through him, and he closed his eyes, letting the moment wash over him. He leaned forward, joining his forehead with hers, their breaths mingling as they shared a quiet, intimate connection. In that simple act, they found a moment of solace, their hearts communicating what words could not.

Rudraksh: "haa yahi sukoon jo har baar tumhare kareeb aate hi mehsus hota hai."

(Yes, this peace that I feel every time I come close to you.)

Ruhanika had a small, almost imperceptible smile on her face, but it was enough to catch Rudraksh’s attention. The faint curve of her lips, despite everything, gave him a glimmer of hope and courage. It was a silent reassurance, a signal that she was still with him, still willing to understand. Encouraged by her smile, he gathered his thoughts and prepared to continue, knowing that her trust, even in moments of uncertainty, was something he could hold onto.

Rudraksh: "Tumhe dekhte hi tumse pyaar ho gaya tha betu, haa ehsaas hone me zara der lagi lekin ab main janta hu, mujhe jeene ke liye agar kisi ki zarurat hai toh vo tum ho. Main tumhe jaana toh kehta hu kyuki tum ho meri jaan, par usse bhi zyada tum meri Ruhh me basti ho betu, sirf kehne ke liye tumhe Ruhh nahi kehta hu, tum sach me meri Ruhh ban chuki ho, mera vo hissa jo main kabhi khud se Durr nahi kar paunga aur na karna chahta hu."

(The moment I saw you, I fell in love with you, betu. Yes, it took a little while for me to realize, but now I know, if I need anyone to live, it’s you. I always want to tell you that you're my life, but more than that, you live in my soul, betu. I don’t call you Ruhh just to say it. You’ve truly become my soul, my part, that I can never be away from, and I don’t want to be.)

Now, both Ruhanika and Rudraksh had happy tears in their eyes, a mix of relief and overwhelming emotion. Their tears spoke of the depth of their bond, the unspoken understanding between them. Despite the struggles they had faced, in this moment, they found solace and strength in each other. The tears, though born from pain, were also a reflection of their shared love and the hope that, together, they could overcome anything.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, kya tum mujhe apna hi ek hissa banaogi??"

(Ruhhh, will you make me a part of you too?)

Ruhanika didn’t waste a second. In one swift motion, she wrapped her arms around Rudraksh's neck, pulling him tightly against her, as if to never let go. Her smile, though clouded with tears, radiated warmth and love. Her eyes, glistening with emotion, reflected the overwhelming sense of relief and affection she felt.  Rudraksh was taken aback by Ruhanika's sudden move, but the warmth of her embrace washed over him, and he felt a sense of relief he hadn't realized he was longing for. Her arms around his neck, pulling him so close, filled him with a comforting weight of reassurance. He could feel her tears against his skin, and as she smiled through them, it tugged at his heartstrings. Her hands gently caressed the back of his head, her touch soft and filled with an unspoken understanding, as if she was trying to ease all the pain he'd been carrying.

Rudraksh: "Jaanta hu nahi samajh rahi ho abhi ye sab par bahaut jaldi..."

(I know you're not understanding all this right now, but very soon...)

Ruhanika: "17 saal"

Rudraksh: "Huhh??"

Ruhanika: "17 saal se chahte hai hum aapko, bahaut pyaar karte hai aapse."

(I’ve loved you for 17 years, I love you so much.)

Rudraksh’s eyes widened in disbelief, his mind struggling to process her words. How can she love me for 17 years? He pulled back slightly, his hands still gently holding her, and studied her face intently, searching for any sign of confusion or uncertainty. But what he saw only added to his confusion—there was no hesitation in her eyes, no doubt or reservation. All he could see was pure clarity, a certainty in her gaze that left him stunned. His heart raced, and his mind spun as he tried to reconcile her words with what he knew about their past. Seventeen years? It felt impossible. He had never known that she had loved him for so long, that her heart had carried those feelings for years, quietly tucked away. His confusion deepened, but the love and trust he saw in her eyes made him feel both humbled and overwhelmed. Ruhanika noticed the bewildered expression on his face, the way he was searching for answers that didn’t seem to make sense to him. Her lips curled into a soft, affectionate smile as she reached up to caress his cheek. Her touch was gentle, tender—an unspoken reassurance.

Ruhanika: "Hum jante hai, aapko lagta hai  hume bahar ki duniya ke baare me nahi pata hai, hum nahi samjhenge ki pati patni ka kya rishta hota hai, prem ke ehsaas kya hote hai, hum nahi samjhenge yahi samajhte hai na aap??"

(I know, you think that I don’t understand the world outside, that I won’t understand the relationship of a husband and wife, what love really feels like. You think I won’t understand, don’t you?)

Rudraksh mindlessly nodded, his emotions too overwhelming for words.

Ruhanika: "Sahi samajhte hai aap, hum bahaut si cheezon se anjaan hai hume nahi pata hai kuch bhi isiliye hum itne sawaal karte hai, par ek hi ehsaas hai Jo humne hosh sambhalne se bhi pehle se mehsus kiya hai vo hai aapse pyaar."

(You’re right, I am unaware of so many things, I don’t know anything, that’s why I ask so many questions. But there’s one feeling I knew even before I gained consciousness, and that is my love for you.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhh kya bol Rahi ho betu??"

(Ruhh, what are you saying, betu?)

Ruhanika: "Nima humesha kehti thi ki ek Rajkumar aayega aur hume us narak jaisi jagah se le jayega bahaut pyaar karega, par hum humesha kehte the ki koi Rajkumar nahi, balki aap aayenge aap hai humare Rajkumar."

(Nima always used to say that a prince would come and take me away from this hell-like place, and love me a lot. But I always used to say that no prince would come, it would be you, you are my prince.)

Rudraksh: "Kya bol Rahi ho betu, humari shadi Wale din toh humne ek dusre ko pehli baar dekha tha na??"

(What are you saying, betu? On our wedding day, we only saw each other for the first time, right?)

Ruhanika shook her head slowly, and Rudraksh's eyes widened in shock. His mind raced, trying to make sense of it, wondering if there was something he had missed. Did they share a past that he wasn’t aware of? Had he encountered her before under different circumstances? His thoughts spiraled, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t recall any such incident. His confusion deepened, leaving him with more questions than answers, unsure of what to make of the moment.

Ruhanika: "Itna mat sochiye, shayad aap bhul gaye honge hum batate hai."

(Don’t think so much, maybe you’ve forgotten, let me remind you.)

Rudraksh nodded, his mind still swirling with unanswered questions. Instead, he simply embraced the moment, feeling her presence next to him. Ruhanika, sensing his silent acceptance, gently placed her head back on his chest, seeking comfort in the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

Ruhanika: "Sab kehte hai jaise jaise bachche bade hote hai unke bachpan ki yaadein dundhli pad jati hai, par humare sath aisa nahi hua. Us ghar me humare sath kya kya hua hai hume sab yaad hai. Ha usse pehle ki zindagi hum bhul zarur gaye hai par kuch raatein hoti hai jo bhulaye nahi bhuli jaati aur vo raat bhi vaisi hi thi."

(Everyone says that as children grow up, their childhood memories fade, but that didn’t happen with me. I remember everything that happened with me in that house. Yes, I forgot about the life before that, but there are some nights that you can never forget, and that night was one of them.)

Rudraksh: "Konsi raat Betu??"

(Which night, betu?)

Ruhanika: "Hum pure parivaar ke sath Nima ke ghar ja rahe the, mumma papa bahaut pareshan the hume toh kuch samajh nahi aaya par hum pehli baar itni dur ja rahe the aur khush the. Humari gaadi raste par chal rahi thi, papa chala rahe the aur hum bahar ka nazara dekh rahe the. Par achanak, achanak se ek tez roshni humari gadi ki taraf aayi aur na jane kya hua ki gaadi ek ped se takra gayi. "

(I was going to Nima’s house with the whole family. Mumma and Papa were very worried, I didn’t understand anything, but I was happy because I was going so far for the first time. Our car was driving on the road, Papa was driving, and I was looking at the outside scenery. But suddenly, suddenly, a bright light came towards our car, and before we knew it, the car crashed into a tree.)

Ruhanika's sobs grew louder, each one filled with a deep, painful release that seemed to shake her entire body. She clutched Rudraksh’s hand tightly, as if she feared he might disappear or that the weight of her emotions would pull her under. Her grip was desperate, her fingers trembling, but Rudraksh didn’t pull away. Instead, he gently rubbed her back with his other hand, offering what comfort he could, each soothing motion a promise that he was there, holding her together in the midst of her unraveling.

Ruhanika: "Hum kuch samajh paate usse pehle hume chakkar aane lage, humne dekha papa darwaza kholne ki koshish kar rahe the par vo nahi khula. Mumma ke sar se khoon nikal raha tha, papa ka chahra bhi khoon se laal tha, unhone khidki ka kaach Toda aur hume godh me lekar bahar bhejne ki koshish kar rahe the, humne mana kiya par phir papa ki aakhein band ho gayi, aur hum bhi behosh ho gaye the. ."

(Before I could understand anything, I started feeling dizzy. I saw Papa trying to open the door, but it wouldn’t open. Mumma was bleeding from her head, and Papa’s face was also covered in blood. He broke the window and tried to get me out, but I resisted. Then Papa’s eyes closed, and I also lost consciousness.)

It was evident from the way Ruhanika’s face contorted in pain—her eyes wide with fear and her breath shallow—that the horrible incident was replaying in her mind. The terror and anguish from the past seemed to resurface, dragging her back into a moment she desperately wished to forget. Her body tensed as though she was reliving the nightmare, and Rudraksh could feel her grip tightening on his hand, her knuckles white from the force.

Rudraksh: "Betu, itni takleef se bol rahi ho, koi zarurat nahi hai, mujhe nahi Janna tum chup ho jao."

(Betu, you're saying this with so much pain, there's no need for it, I don't want to know, stay quiet.)

Ruhanika: "Aaj Tak kisi ne nahi suna humare dil ki baat, aap bhi nahi sunenge??"

(Till today, no one has heard the words of my heart, won't you hear them too?)

Rudraksh: "Aisi baat nahi jaana, par aapko takleef ho Rahi hai."

(It's not like that, I know you're in pain.)

Ruhanika: "Man me rakhne se hume aur takleef ho Rahi, bolne dijiye na, humse aur sehen nahi hota."

(Keeping it in my heart causes me more pain. Let me speak, I can't bear it anymore.)

Ruhanika looked up at Rudraksh, her eyes swollen and red from the tears that continued to spill. The rawness of her pain was evident in every trembling breath she took, and the vulnerability in her gaze nearly shattered him. Without a word, Rudraksh gently reached up to wipe away the fresh tears that fell from her eyes, his touch soft but filled with a deep sense of care. His thumb brushed over her cheek, a silent reassurance that she was not alone. He then pulled her back into his embrace, guiding her head gently to rest against his chest. The steady beat of his heart seemed to be the only sound in the room, a rhythm that calmed her just a little. He held her closer, wrapping his arms around her protectively, as if to shield her from the horrors of her past that still haunted her.

Rudraksh: "Bolo jo bolna Ruhh, yahi hu tumhare pass."

(Speak whatever you want, Ruhh, I'm here with you.)

Ruhanika: "Kuch waqt baad hume humare chehre pe tapish mehsus huyi, humari aakhein Khuli toh dekha gaadi me aag lag gayi hai, kuch dikhayi nahi de raha tha, mumma ki saree jalne lagi, piche ki seat bhi jal gayi, papa ne aakhein nahi kholi, humne unko jagane ki bahaut Koshish ki par vo nahi uthe, pehli baar unhone humari baat nahi maani. Hum rone lage, aur bachao bachao chilane lage. Humara sar ghum raha tha, phir jaise hi humari aakhein band hone lagi vaise hi ..."

(After some time, I felt a burning sensation on I face. When I opened my eyes, I saw the car was on fire, everything was blurry, Mumma’s saree was burning, and the back seat was on fire. Papa didn’t open his eyes, I tried waking him up but he didn’t respond, for the first time he didn’t listen to me. I started crying and shouting for help. My head was spinning, and just as I felt my eyes closing, suddenly...)

Ruhanika looked at Rudraksh again, her gaze steady yet filled with an unspoken depth that left him more confused than ever. Rudraksh met her gaze, his mind still racing to understand what was happening, the confusion evident in his eyes. In that moment of silence, she reached out, gently taking his palm in hers, her fingers curling around it with a quiet certainty.

Ruhanika: "Aap aa gaye, aur aapne hume bahar kheech liya."

(You came and pulled me out.)

Rudraksh was hit with a shock so profound that it felt like time had momentarily stopped. His eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at Ruhanika, who, despite the tears and the visible pain in her eyes, managed to offer him a faint smile. He looked at Ruhanika, her face etched with a mixture of sorrow and something else—something unexpected.

Ruhanika: "Us raat aapne hume bachaya tha isiliye pehchante hai hum aapko, us raat se humne apne man me humesha aapko hi apna maana hai, isiliye bharosa karte hai, aaj tak hum isi aas me ji rahe the ki aap aayenge aur hume le jayenge."

(That night you saved me, that's why I recognize you. Since then, I have always considered you mine, that's why I trust you. I have been living in the hope that one day you would come and take me with you.)

Rudraksh: "Tumhe kaise pata jaana, vo main tha??"

(How do you know it was me?)

Ruhanika: "Hume bharosa tha humare Shiv ji pe ki vo aapko humari zindagi me zarur bhejenge, aur unhone bheja bhi bhale hi aapne hume koi aur samajh ke vivah kiya ho."

(I had faith in my Shiv ji that he would send you into my life, and he did, even if you married me thinking I was someone else.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, tum janti ho na main tumhare bhagwan ko nahi manta hu."

(Ruhh, you know I don't believe in your god.)

Ruhanika: "Jaante hai, par hum maante hai aur unhone saabit kiya aapko bhej ke ki vo hai humare sath. "

(I know, but I believe, and he proved it by sending you to me.)

Rudraksh: "kaise pehchana tumne mujhe?? Tumne kaha tumhe nahi pata tha ki kisse hone wali hai tumhari shadi."

(How did you recognize me? You said you didn’t know who you were going to marry.)

Ruhanika: "Ji nahi jante the isiliye Darr rahe the, par jab aapko dekha toh hum nishchint ho gaye. Humne aapko pehchana kyuki 17 saal pehle humne dekha ye aapke gale me ye trishul wala locket aur aapke seene pe ye janamchihn , hum khush ho gaye the Nima ne aapko humare liye chuna kyuki hum Prem karte hai aapse."

(No, I didn’t know, that’s why I was scared. But when I saw you, I felt relieved. I recognized you because 17 years ago, I saw this trishul locket around your neck and the birthmark on your chest. I was happy because Nima chose you for me, because I love you.)

Ruhanika’s hand moved gently toward Rudraksh’s neck, her fingers tracing the chain he always wore, and then, without saying a word, she pointed to the birthmark beneath his collarbone.  The realization hit Rudraksh like a wave, and for a moment, he was paralyzed, his breath hitching in his throat. She looked up at him for a brief second before lowering her head once again, resting it on his chest. Rudraksh could feel the weight of her presence, the way she nestled against him as though everything about her belonged to him, and vice versa. His heartbeat quickened, an erratic rhythm of surprise, joy, and love all crashing together in his chest. The realization hit him like a wave—she loved him just as much as he loved her. The depth of their bond, the unspoken truth, filled him with such joy that it felt as though his heart might burst out of his chest, overflowing with emotion.

Ruhanika: "aapse naraz bhi hai hum, aapne us raat kyu chod diya hume, kyu apne sath nahi le gaye humesha ke liye, kyu hume 17 saal us ghar me chod diya?? Aap jante hai hum vaha itna darr ke rehte the Roz har ek pal Darr lagta tha, itni baar humara man Kiya ki hum apni jaan de dein, par phir ruk jaate the isi aas me ki ek din aap aayenge aur hume le jayenge."

(I’m also upset with you. Why did you leave me that night? Why didn’t you take me with you forever? Why did you leave me in that house for 17 years? You know I was so scared there, every moment I was terrified. Many times, I felt like ending my life, but then I would stop, hoping one day you would come and take me with you.)

Rudraksh listened intently to everything Ruhanika was saying, his heart heavy with the weight of her words. As she spoke, memories of that horrible night began flooding his mind—those dark, painful moments that he had tried so hard to bury. He could feel the emotions rising within him, the images of what had happened coming back with an intensity he wasn’t prepared for. His chest tightened as the memories of their shared pain resurfaced, and he silently wished he could take away the hurt, not just from her but from both of them.

Rudraksh: "Us raat maine tumhe nahi, tumne mujhe Zindagi di thi Ruhh."

(That night, I didn’t save you, you gave me life, Ruhh.)

Rudraksh murmured softly, his voice barely above a whisper, as the weight of the memories and emotions swirled within him.

Ruhanika: "Jiii??"

(What?)

Rudraksh: "Kuch nahi."

(Nothing.)

Ruhanika: "isiliye hum keh rahe hai, hum bahaut Prem karte hai aapse, humne humare jeevan me aapke alawa aur kisi ke baare me nahi socha hai sachchi. Par aap bure hai aapne itna samay lagaya humare pass aane me."

(That's why I say, I love you so much. I haven’t thought of anyone else in my life except you, truly. But you're wrong for taking so much time to come to me.)

Rudraksh smiled softly, the weight of his emotions easing just a little as he looked at her. His hand moved to gently cup Ruhanika's face, his thumb brushing over her cheek in a tender, comforting gesture. The smile on his lips was a mixture of warmth and reassurance, as if he wanted to tell her without words that everything would be alright.

Rudraksh: "Mujhe maaf kar dena betu, par dekho ab hum sath hai na, ab kabhi tumhe khud se dur nahi karunga, humesha tumhara khayal rakhunga aur humesha tumhare sath rahunga, bas ek baar bharosa karlo."

(Forgive me, betu. But look, now we’re together, right? I’ll never let you be far from me again. I’ll always take care of you and stay with you. Just trust me once.)

Ruhanika: "bahaut bharosa karte hai aap pe hum, hum jante hai aap hume kabhi nuksan nahi pohchayenge aur aapne kaha aap humse prem karte hai toh hume dur bhi nahi karenge."

(I trust you a lot. I know you’ll never harm me, and since you’ve said you love me, I know you’ll never distance yourself from me.)

Ruhanika blushed deeply at the tender gesture, her cheeks flushing as she shyly hid her face against Rudraksh's chest. The warmth of his touch and the tenderness in his eyes made her heart race, and she sought refuge in the comfort of his embrace. Rudraksh smiled at the sight of her reaction, his heart swelling with affection. He gently caressed her head, his fingers running through her hair as he held her close, savoring the quiet, intimate moment they shared.

Rudraksh: "haa kabhi dur nahi karunga tumhe, aakhir apni Ruhh ko alag karke kaise reh paunga main."

(Yes, I’ll never distance myself from you. After all, how could I live without my Ruhh?)

Ruhanika: "Hum kuch puche aapse??"

(Can I ask you something?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly.

Rudraksh: "Back to my normal Ruhh, puchiye Mallika-e-Aksh."

(Back to my normal Ruhh, go ahead, Mallika-e-Aksh.)

Ruhanika: "Aapne humse pucha kya hum aapko apna ek hissa banaye, toh vo hum kaise karenge?? Kya aap hum me sama jayenge?? Kaise??"

(You asked me if I would make you a part of our life, but how will that happen? How will you merge with me?)

Rudraksh’s eyes widened in surprise, the reason being a sudden flash of his not-so-innocent thoughts that clashed with Ruhanika’s innocent, yet curious questions. He wasn’t prepared for her simple, pure way of looking at things, which only made his mind race in a completely different direction. Noticing his reaction, Ruhanika gently patted his chest, her innocent gesture as she looked up at him with a soft smile.

Ruhanika: "Bataiye"

(Tell me.)

Rudraksh: "Offo, Ruhh mera matlab tha ki humesha mere sath rahogi na??"

(Oh, Ruhh, what I meant was that you’ll always stay with me, right?)

Ruhanika: "Vo toh hum rahenge hi na, hum kahi nahi jayenge aapko chod kar samjhe aap, par abhi hum ja rahe hai niche kyuki hum aapse naraz hai."

(Of course, I’ll stay with you. I won’t leave you, understand? But now I'm going downstairs because I'm upset with you.)

Ruhanika was about to stand up from Rudraksh's lap, but before she could, he pulled her back gently, wrapping his arms around her waist to keep her close. The sudden pull caught her off guard, but she didn't resist. With a mischievous glint in his eyes, Rudraksh rubbed his nose against hers, a playful gesture he knew would make her blush. And just as he expected, Ruhanika’s cheeks flushed a deep shade of pink, her eyes shyly avoiding his gaze. The moment was filled with sweetness and lightheartedness, and Rudraksh couldn't help but smile at her adorable reaction.

Rudraksh: "Vajah toh batate jaiye Jaan-e-aksh, akhir hum bhi toh jaane hume aapko manana kis cheez ke liye hai??"

(Please tell me why, Jaan-e-aksh. After all, I also want to know why I need to convince you.)

Ruhanika: "pehli baat aapne humse sach chupaya, dusri baat aap ne nahi bataya ki aapko humse prem hai, teesri baat aap hume lene bahaut der se aaye hai, aur chauthi baat aap humse keh ke gaye ki vapas aate waqt humare liye toffee layenge par aap nahi laaye."

(First, you hid the truth from me. Second, you didn’t tell me you love me. Third, you took so long to come to take me, and fourth, you told me you’d bring me candy when you came back, but you didn’t.)

Rudraksh chuckled softly at Ruhanika’s cute complaints, her bashful reactions bringing a sense of lightness back to the atmosphere. His heart felt a sense of relief, knowing that his "Ruhh" was back to her usual self after the storm of emotions she had gone through. A few moments ago, seeing her in tears had been unbearable for him, and the contrast between her sadness and her playful teasing now filled him with gratitude. He leaned in, his lips gently pressing against her forehead in a tender kiss, a silent promise that he would always be there to comfort her, no matter what.

Rudraksh: "Aapse sach chupaya uske liye sorry."

(I’m sorry for hiding the truth from you.)

Ruhanika lowered her eyes, a soft, shy smile playing on her lips as she felt the warmth of Rudraksh's affection. The tenderness of the moment made her feel cherished, and she couldn't help but smile despite her bashfulness. Rudraksh, noticing her sweet expression, couldn't resist the urge to shower her with more affection. With a playful smile of his own, he leaned forward and gently kissed the tip of her nose, a soft, loving gesture that made her heart flutter.

Rudraksh: "Aap jaan hai meri betu, Ab halat kuch yun hai ki aap hai tabhi main hu Ruhh, tumhare bina main kuch nahi, bahaut pyaar karta hu tumse, aisa pyaar jo shayad shabdon me nahi bata paunga, par tum meri aakhon me padh lena. Aur ye baat na batane ke liye sorry meri Ruhh."

(You’re my life, betu. Now, the situation is such that I am nothing without you. I love you so much, a love that I can’t even put into words, but you can read it in my eyes. And I’m sorry for not telling you this, Ruhh.)

Ruhanika looked into Rudraksh's eyes, and for a moment, she was lost in the depth of love and tenderness that radiated from them. His gaze was so full of affection that it made her heart flutter, and the intensity of his feelings left her feeling overwhelmed. Unable to hold his gaze for long, she shyly lowered her eyes, her cheeks flushed with warmth. Rudraksh, noticing her bashfulness, couldn’t resist the urge to gently cup her cheeks. His touch was soft yet firm, grounding her in the moment as he leaned in and placed a tender kiss on her cheek.

Rudraksh: "tumhare pass deri se aaya ye galti toh huyi hai mujhse iski jo saza dogi vo manzur hai mujhe."

(I came to you late, and I accept that. Whatever punishment you give me, I will accept.)

Ruhanika, still feeling shy, kept her gaze lowered, avoiding looking into Rudraksh's eyes. Her heart raced as she felt his warmth and closeness, but she couldn't quite meet his intense gaze. Rudraksh, seeing her so endearing, smiled softly. He gently tilted her chin, coaxing her to look up, but when she didn’t, he leaned in and kissed her cheek, his lips just a hair’s breadth away from her lips. The closeness of the kiss sent a flutter through both of them, and Ruhanika's heart skipped a beat. She could feel the tenderness in his touch, and despite her shyness, it was a moment she cherished deeply.

Rudraksh: "And ye lo tumhari chocolates meri meethi meethi Ruhh."

(And here, take your chocolates, my sweet sweet Ruhh.)

Rudraksh, with a playful smile, reached into his pants pocket and pulled out the chocolates he had kept there. He offered them to Ruhanika, who looked at him with surprise and delight. Her eyes sparkled as she took the chocolates from him, and a wide, bright smile spread across her face.

Rudraksh: "Achcha batao kya saza hai meri."

(Now, tell me, what’s my punishment?)

As Rudraksh gently swayed both himself and Ruhanika back and forth, he looked at her with a soft smile and said.

Ruhanika: "Hayy humare Shiv ji, aap pati hai humare hum saza kaise de sakte hai aapko."

(Oh Shiv ji, you’re my husband, how can I punish me?)

As Rudraksh swayed gently with Ruhanika, he leaned in and kissed her cheek, making her blush deeply. The warmth of his lips sent a ripple of tenderness through her, and her cheeks turned an even deeper shade of red, this time from the sweet affection he was showering her with. Each time they swayed, he kissed her cheek again, his lips lingering softly, each kiss making her entire face glow with a soft, shy flush. Her face, which had been red from crying earlier, was now flushed from the sweetness of his kisses. Rudraksh noticed the shift, and although he loved seeing her blush, it also pained him to see her in that state of vulnerability just moments ago. He gently cupped her face with both hands, his gaze softening.

Rudraksh: "Areh kyu nahi?? Galti ki hai na maine meri Ruhh ke pass deri se aaya na, chalo ab batao kya karu tumhari maafi ke liye."

(Why not? I made a mistake, didn’t I? I came late. Now, tell me, what should I do to get your forgiveness?)

Ruhanika eagerly tore the chocolate wrapper, her eyes lighting up as she took a bite. The sweet taste brought a moment of joy, and without hesitation, she held out another bite to Rudraksh. She smiled warmly, her eyes sparkling as she fed him the chocolate, her gesture sweet and genuine.

Rudraksh, touched by her kindness, leaned in and took the bite from her hand, his smile growing even wider.

Ruhanika: "Umm vaise toh is baat ke liye hum bas thode se naraz hai aapse..."

(Umm, well, I’m just a little upset with you...)

Rudraksh: Thode se naraz kaise hote hai betu??

(How to get little upset sweetheart??)

Ruhanika: "Areh matlab dekhiye hum aapse baat kar rahe hai toh hum aapse thode se naraz hai, agar hum zyada naraz hote toh aapse baat nahi karte na, par aapse baat kiye bina humse raha hi nahi jata, isiliye hum bas thode se naraz hai."

(Well, I’m talking to you, so I’m just a little upset. If I’m really angry, I wouldn’t talk to you. But I can’t stay without talking to you, so I’m just a little upset.)

Rudraksh chuckled softly at Ruhanika's innocent reasoning, finding her adorable in that moment. Her sincerity and the way she always tried to make sense of everything made him smile. However, when she noticed his laughter, she frowned and pouted, her lips forming a cute little pout.

Ruhanika: "Aap has rahe hai humpe??"

(Are you laughing at me?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly as Ruhanika fed him the chocolate, he leaned in and kissed her cheek again, his lips brushing against her skin gently.

Rudraksh: "Achcha baba sorry, batao kya karna hai mujhe??"

(Okay, okay, sorry, tell me what should I do?)

Ruhanika's eyes lit up with excitement, and in her eagerness, she quickly set the chocolates aside, her attention now fully on Rudraksh. She shifted closer to him.

Ruhanika: "Aap snap streak lagayenge humare sath??"

(Will you do a snap streak with me?)

Rudraksh’s brow furrowed in confusion.

Rudraksh: "Ye kya hota hai??"

(What’s that?)

Ruhanika: "Offo, aap kitne bhole hai aap kuch nahi jante."

(Oh my god, you’re so innocent, you don’t know anything!)

Rudraksh: "Haa yaar Ruhh, chalo tum hi bata do kya hota hai ye snap streak."

(Yeah, Ruhh, come on, tell me what this snap streak is.)

Ruhanika: "Dekhiye, Snapchat ek app hai jispe hum swayam ki ya kisi ki bhi tasveer leke ek dusre ko bhejte hai toh jitne din bhejte hai utne din ki streak ho jati hai."

(See, Snapchat is an app where you take pictures of yourself or someone else and send them to each other. The more days you send, the longer your streak becomes.)

Ruhanika animatedly began explaining Snapchat to Rudraksh, her hands moving as she described filters, stories, and all the fun features of the app. Her face lit up with excitement, and a radiant smile spread across her lips as she shared her favorite parts, completely absorbed in her own enthusiasm. Rudraksh, however, was barely following her words. He was far too mesmerized by her joy, his heart warming at the sight of her smile. Seeing her happy was all he needed, and he watched her with soft eyes, a gentle smile on his face. In that moment, nothing mattered more to him than her happiness.

Ruhanika: "Laiye aapka phone dijiye hum sikhate hai aapko."

(Give me your phone, I’ll teach you.)

Without really thinking, Rudraksh handed his phone over to Ruhanika, who took it eagerly, her eyes shining with excitement.

Ruhanika: "Ye toh password mang raha hai, password daal dijiye."

(It’s asking for a password, please enter it.)

Rudraksh: "Tumhi daal do"

(You enter it.)

Ruhanika: "Hume nahi pata aapke phone ka password."

(I don’t know your phone password.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh"

Ruhanika: "Jiii"

(Yes?)

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh"

Ruhanika: "Jii sun rahe hai kahiye."

(Yes, I’m listening, tell me.)

Rudraksh: "Offo paglu, Ruhhh, yehi password hai."

(Oh, you silly, Ruhhh, this is the password.)

Ruhanika: "Aapne humara naam aapka password rakha hai."

(You made my name your password.)

Rudraksh: "Umm hmm, nahi maine apni Ruhh ka naam apna password rakha hai."

( Umm, no, I made my Ruhh’s name my password.)

Ruhanika felt a warm blush creep up her cheeks. She bit her lip shyly and lowered her eyes, suddenly a bit self-conscious under his soft gaze.

Ruhanika: "Ye aap aisi baatein mat kiya kijiye, hume titliyan aati hai humare bheetar aur sharam bhi."

(Don’t say such things, I get butterflies inside, and I feel shy.)

Rudraksh couldn’t help but smile at the adorable expression on Ruhanika’s face as she eagerly unlocked his phone, only to realize that Snapchat wasn’t installed. Her face shifted from excitement to surprise, and with a little groan, she playfully hit her forehead with her palm. He chuckled softly, amused by her reaction.

Ruhanika: "Offo, aapke pass toh snapchat app hi nahi hai, karte kya hai aap phone kuch rakhte bhi hai, fayda kya hai aise phone ka??"

(Oh my god, you don’t even have the Snapchat app, what do you do with your phone? What’s the use of such a phone?)

Rudraksh's eyes widened in surprise as Ruhanika began to playfully scold him for not having Snapchat on his phone. Her tone almost as if she were giving him a serious lecture, for an app which is completely useless for him.

Ruhanika: "Rukiye hum karke dete hai. Bhai sa, Ashu bhai aur Rishi Bhai ko dekhiye unhone streak lagayi humare sath vo bhi pure 5 din ki"

(Wait, I’ll do it for you. Look at Ashu Bhai, Bhai Sa, and Rishi Bhai, they did a streak with us for five days.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, Rishi toh hai hi pagal, tumne Kartavya bhai aur Ashvik se bhi ye streak jaisa kaam karvaya??"

(Ruhh, Rishi is crazy. Did you also get Kartavya Bhai and Ashvik to do this streak?)

Ruhanika: "Jiii aur vo Maan Gaye. Kaha na humne pure 5 din ho gaye hai humare streak ko."

(Yes, and they agreed. I told you our streak was five days long.)

Rudraksh narrowed his eyes and in one swift move, he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close. Ruhanika’s eyes widened in surprise, a soft gasp escaping her lips as she looked up at him, caught off guard by his sudden movement.

Rudraksh: "Aur tum sabse aakhir me mujhe bata rahi ho??"

(And you’re telling me last?)

Rudraksh raised his eyebrows, giving her a look that was half-amused, half-inquisitive, Ruhanika's cheeks flushed, and she bit her lip, she gave him a sheepish smile.

Ruhanika: "Vo hum vo ahh, jaane dijiye na is baar."

(Uhh, just let it go this time, please.)

Rudraksh: "Haa jaane deta hu na tumhe Ruko tum."

(Yeah, sure, I’ll let you go… just wait.)

Rudraksh, unable to resist the joy of seeing her smile, suddenly started tickling Ruhanika. She burst into laughter, squirming and trying to escape his playful grip. After a few attempts, she managed to wriggle free, her giggles filling the room as she bolted toward the door. Rudraksh grinned and darted after her, the sound of their laughter echoing through the room. She dashed down the stairs, glancing back over her shoulder with a mischievous sparkle in her eyes, her laughter bubbling up with each step. Rudraksh was right behind her, determined not to let her get away.

Downstairs, the atmosphere was tense as everyone grew more concerned for Rudraksh and Ruhanika. They had been upstairs for a while, and no one knew what was going on. But all their worries were put to rest when suddenly, Ruhanika appeared at the top of the stairs, running down with a wide, carefree smile on her face, giggling softly. The sight left everyone momentarily confused. They had been so worried, and yet, here Ruhanika was, laughing and full of life. Her cheerful energy was a stark contrast to the worried expressions of the family members gathered downstairs.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu araam se gir jaogi."

(Ruh, be careful or you’ll fall.)

Ruhanika: "Hum jante aap aisa keh ke hume rok ke pakad lenge."

(I know if you say that, you'll stop and catch me.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhhhhhhhhh"

Ruhanika, still giggling, ran towards Kartavya and playfully hid behind him, her hands gripping his biceps tightly. She peeked out from behind his back, her eyes mischievously sparkling as she tried to look at Rudraksh.

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa, hume bacha lijiye ye Hume gudgudi kar rahe hai."

(Brother, save me! He’s tickling me!)

Ruhanika’s giggle echoed through the room, her laughter light and carefree as she caught her breath, still hiding behind the Kartavya. Kartavya raised an eyebrow, casting a confused glance at Rudraksh. The rest of the group, sensing the playful chaos unfolding before them, turned their attention to Rudraksh, curious about the scene they were witnessing. Rudraksh, with a subtle but reassuring smile, blinked his eyes and gave a small nod, signaling that everything was alright. His relaxed expression and the gentle calm in his demeanor put everyone at ease. A collective sigh of relief swept through the room, as they all saw the familiar warmth and affection between Rudraksh and Ruhanika. It was the kind of happiness they had all been hoping to see. However, just as the atmosphere seemed to settle back into comfort, a mischievous spark flickered in Kartavya’s eyes. A playful idea began to form in his mind, and before anyone could stop him, he stepped forward, a knowing grin tugging at the corners of his mouth.

Kartavya: "Rudraksh, Durr reh meri little sunshine se, gudgudi nahi kar sakta tu ise."

(Rudraksh, stay away from my little sunshine. You can’t tickle her.)

Ruhanika: "Ji bhai sa, aise hi daantiye inhe, ye bahaut satate hai hume."

(Yes, brother, scold him! He bothers me so much.)

Rudraksh: "Bhaiiii"

Kartavya: "Kyuki vo main karunga na"

(Because that’s my job, isn’t it?)

Ruhanika: "Bha..."

Ruhanika was about to finish her sentence when suddenly, Kartavya pounced on her and started tickling her. She gasped in surprise before bursts of laughter erupted from her, her whole body shaking with the uncontrollable giggles. Her face lit up with joy as she tried to wriggle away from Kartavya's relentless tickling, but the more she laughed, the harder it became to escape.

Ashvik: "Main kaise piche reh sakta hu??"

(How can I stay behind?)

Rishwik: "Aur main toh hu hi sab me number 1"

(And I'm the number one at this!)

Ashvik and Rishwik suddenly joined in, both of them eagerly jumping in and tickling Ruhanika from either side. Unable to hold herself up, Ruhanika collapsed back onto the couch, laughing uncontrollably, her whole body shaking with joy. The room was filled with the sweet sound of her laughter as she tried to push them away, her face flushed from the fun and her eyes sparkling with happiness. Rudraksh stood nearby, watching the scene unfold with a soft smile. His heart swelled as he admired the bond Ruhanika shared with Ashvik, Rishwik, and the rest of them. The lightheartedness and pure joy that filled the room were exactly what he had always hoped for her. As he stood there, lost in the sight of her happiness, Savisha quietly approached him. She stood beside him for a moment, watching the chaos unfold, before turning her gaze toward him, a knowing smile on her face.

Savisha: "All good??"

Rudraksh’s smile widened, and it reached his eyes, filling his entire face with warmth. His gaze lingered on Ruhanika as she continued to laugh and play with Kartavya, Ashvik and Rishwik.

Rudraksh: "Main kitna galat tha bhabhi, meri Ruhh itni bhi naadan nahi hai jitna main samajhta tha, bahaut samajhdar hai."

(I was so wrong, sister-in-law. My Ruh isn’t as naive as I thought; she’s very understanding.)

Savisha: "Haa vo toh main dekh hi Rahi hu."

(Yes, I can see that.)

Savisha and Rudraksh both glanced at Ruhanika, who was now in the middle of a playful tickle attack from Ashvik, Kartavya and Rishwik. Her laughter rang through the room, and she squirmed helplessly, trying to escape their teasing but failing miserably. The sight of her so carefree, so full of joy, made both of them chuckle.

Rudraksh: "Sab changa si, bhabhi. Tusi fikr na Kari."

(Everything’s fine, sister-in-law. You don’t worry.)

Savisha: "Changi gal si, hun sab theek rahega."

(Good to hear. Everything will be fine now.)

Both Savisha and Rudraksh shared a quiet smile, their hearts full of warmth.

Ruhanika: "Ar..eh, dekh kya rah...e hai aap, b...achaiye hume. Varna h...um a..ur th..ode se z...yada naraz ho jaa..yenge aa...pse."

(Uh… what are you looking at? Save me, please. Otherwise… I’ll get even… angrier at you.)

Ruhanika, still caught in the midst of her uncontrollable laughter, managed to speak between gasps for air. Rudraksh, watching her with a playful glint in his eyes, chuckled and stepped closer. Instead of offering her relief, he joined in on the fun, his hands gently finding her sides, adding to the chaos.

Rudraksh: "Ha toh kya keh rahi thi, bhai sa daatiye inhe ab daaton mujhe."

(So, what were you saying? Brother, scold him, now scold me.)

Ruhanika's laughter grew louder, and it caught the attention of Kritika, who emerged from her room, curious about the commotion. She paused in the doorway, surprised at the sight of Ruhanika being tickled by Kartavya, Rudraksh, Ashvik and Rishwik, her laughter filling the entire room. Kritika looked at Savisha, her eyebrows raised in amusement, wondering what was going on. Savisha, with a playful wink, blinked her eyes and gave Kritika a reassuring nod, silently telling her not to worry. Kritika’s lips curled into a grin, her expression lightening as she took in the joyful chaos around her.

Kritika: "Areh mere bina kaise ye toh nahi chalega"

( Hey! This won’t work without me!)

Kritika, unable to resist the fun, ran toward Ruhanika, eager to join in and tickle her. However, before she could reach her, Kartavya swiftly pulled her beside Ruhanika, and in an instant, both sisters were surrounded by the teasing hands of Rudraksh, Ashvik, Rishwik, and Kartavya. Laughter erupted from both Ruhanika and Kritika, their voices blending together as they struggled to escape the playful assault.

Ruhanika: "Bha...bhi sa, Bach..aiye na."

(Sis…save me, please!)

Savisha, who had been watching the playful chaos unfold, couldn't help but smile, shaking her head at the sight. She moved toward them, clearly intending to stop the madness before it got out of hand. But before she could speak a word, the mischievous group had other plans. In an instant, they all pounced on her, pulling her down onto the couch and tickling her relentlessly. Laughter filled the room as Savisha burst into giggles, unable to escape their playful assault. The entire family was now caught up in the joy of the moment, their laughter echoing through the house like a symphony of happiness. The servants, who had never witnessed such a carefree, loving display before, stopped in their tracks, their faces lighting up with smiles as they watched the entire scene unfold.  Amidst the laughter, Ruhanika, caught in the whirlwind of tickling and giggles, lost her balance and was about to tumble off the couch. But Rudraksh, ever the protector, was quick to react. Without a second thought, he swooped in, lifting her effortlessly into his arms and placing her back safely on the couch. His actions were smooth, but his eyes reflected a deep care for her well-being. Once everyone had settled back down on the couch, catching their breath from all the laughter, they exchanged knowing glances.

As the laughter gradually subsided, Ruhanika's expression shifted. Her head lowered slightly, and she clutched Rudraksh's biceps tightly, as though trying to hold herself together. Despite the joy that had filled the room moments ago, a wave of emotion seemed to have taken over her. She struggled to control the tears that threatened to escape, and her breathing became shaky. Rudraksh, noticing the sudden change in her demeanor, felt a rush of concern. His brows furrowed in confusion as he cupped her face gently, lifting her chin so she would look at him. His eyes searched hers, trying to understand what had caused the sudden shift from laughter to tears.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, jaana kya hua, kahi lag gayi kya tumhe?? Dard hai kya??"

(Ruh, what happened? Did you get hurt somewhere? Are you in pain?)

Rudraksh’s gaze softened with concern as he examined Ruhanika’s hands and legs, trying to figure out if something physical had caused her distress. His fingers gently brushed over her arms, her shoulders, as he searched for any sign of injury or discomfort. But when he found nothing, he looked back at her, his worry deepening. She shook her head, silently telling him that nothing was physically wrong. But the tears that slipped from her eyes told a different story.  Ashvik, who had been joking around only moments before, immediately kneeled in front of her, his expression turning serious and concerned. He gently took her hand in his, trying to offer her some comfort.

Ashvik: "Teddy, kya hua?? Beta rone kyu lagi??"

(Teddy, what happened? Why are you crying, dear?)

She began to sob uncontrollably, her shoulders trembling with each heart-wrenching cry. The sudden shift in her mood left everyone stunned, and immediately, they gathered around her, their faces filled with concern. Kartavya, gently placed his hand on her head.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine, kya hua beta kyu ro Rahi ho, humse koi galti ho gayi??"

(Little sunshine, what happened, kiddo? Did we do something wrong?)

Ruhanika shook her head, her tears not stopping. Seeing her like this, Rishwik and Amandeep knelt down beside Ashvik, their faces filled with concern and confusion.

Rishwik: "Sorry Angel, dobara gudgudi nhi karenge."

(Sorry, Angel, we won’t tickle you again.)

Ruhanika, unable to control the flood of emotions overwhelming her, shook her head in silence, her sobs growing heavier. In an instinctive movement, she leaned into Kartavya and hugged his waist tightly, seeking comfort from the familiar warmth of his presence. Kartavya, standing beside her, immediately responded by wrapping his arms around her. He gently caressed her head, his touch tender and soothing, as he held her close.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine??"

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa, humari shadi inse aap sabki marzi se nhi huyi hai, toh kya ab aap sab humse pyaar nahi karenge??"

(Brother, since I didn’t marry him with all of your approval, does that mean you won’t love me anymore?)

Everyone around her watched with soft, compassionate gazes, their concern evident in their expressions. Rudraksh, standing slightly apart from the group, shook his head gently, feeling a mix of frustration and tenderness for Ruhanika. He couldn't help but feel upset that she had let such thoughts take root in her innocent mind. He knew her better than anyone and understood the complexity of her emotions, but it pained him to see her suffering in this way. Meanwhile, Ashvik, unable to stand seeing his sister like this, stood up from where he had kneeled beside her. He took a moment, then lightly smacked her gently on the head, a playful yet caring gesture that only someone as close to her as he could dare to do in this moment.

Ruhanika: "Aap hume maar rahe hai Ashu bhai??"

(Are you hitting me, Ashu brother?)

Rishwik: "Ek aur thappad padna chahiye."

(You deserves another slap!)

Ruhanika lowered her head, her lips forming a small pout as she tried to hold back the remaining tears.

Amandeep: "Itna cute face mat banao Ruhii, harkatein hi maar khane ki karti ho tum."

(Don’t make that cute face, Ruhii. You’re always doing things that earn you a scolding.)

The three brothers couldn’t hide the concern etched on their faces. They were upset that Ruhanika had let herself believe that they might love her any less just because she was Rudraksh’s wife. To them, she was family, and nothing would ever change that. The bond they shared with her had always been strong, and they couldn’t understand how she could doubt their love and care for her. Meanwhile, Kartavya, who had been silently observing the situation, smiled softly at his sister. With a gentle movement, he cupped her face, which was resting on his stomach, lifting her gaze toward him. His eyes were filled with tenderness as he leaned in and kissed her forehead, a gesture meant to comfort and reassure her. Kartavya kneeled down in front of her, his presence gentle yet grounding. He placed his hands on her shoulders, his eyes locked with hers, conveying his unwavering support.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine, sahi kaha hum tumse nahi karte pyaar kyuki tum Rudraksh ki wife ho."

(Little sunshine, you’re right. We don’t love you because you’re Rudraksh’s wife.)

Ruhanika’s sadness deepened, and she instinctively lowered her head, the weight of her emotions pressing down on her. She felt vulnerable and conflicted, not wanting to burden anyone with her doubts but also struggling to shake off the overwhelming sense of insecurity. Kartavya, seeing her retreat into herself, smiled gently, his heart aching for her. He reached up, brushing away the tears that had begun to fall from her eyes, his touch tender and reassuring.

Kartavya: "Kyuki beta hum tumhe pyaar karte ho kyuki behen ho tum humari, rakhi bandhi na tumne in teeno ko phir Aisa kaise socha tumne??"

(We love you because you’re our sister. Didn’t you tie rakhi on these three? So how could you even think that?)

Ruhanika: "Hume laga ki.."

(I thought that…)

Kartavya: "Ki kya, humara pyaar itna kamzor hai tumhare liye."

(That what? That our love for you is that weak?)

Ruhanika shook her head, her eyes still glistening with unshed tears.

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa humne aapko toh Rakhi nahi bandhi, toh aap phir bhi humse pyaar karenge na??"

(But I didn’t tie rakhi to you, brother. So, will you still love me?)

Savisha stepped forward, her expression filled with concern and affection. She gently placed her hand on Ruhanika’s head, her touch soothing and warm.

Savisha: "Mere aur Avya ke liye toh humari beti jaisi ho tum Ruhii, hum kaise pyaar nahi karenge tumhe??"

(Ruhii, for me and Avya, you’re like our daughter. How could we not love you?)

Ruhanika’s eyes shifted between Savisha and Kartavya, a mix of emotions flooding her heart. The warmth and care they were showing her made her feel deeply overwhelmed. She hugged Savisha and Kartavya by their waists, her body trembling slightly as she sought the comfort they were so willing to offer. Her head rested against their chests as she closed her eyes, feeling their strong presence surround her, the reassurance of their love and care washing over her.

Ruhanika: "Hum kuch bhi soch rahe the uske liye maaf kar dijiye."

(Please forgive me for thinking like that.)

Kartavya: "Koi baat nahi beta, par dekho ab tumhare teen bhai naraz hai."

(It’s alright, dear, but look, now your three brothers are upset.)

Ruhanika: "Hum bas yu mana ke aate hai unhe."

(I’ll go make it up to them right away.)

Ruhanika’s voice was soft, but there was a playful glint in her eyes as she whispered, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of her lips. The sudden shift in her demeanor made Kartavya and Rudraksh frown, exchanging uncertain glances. They couldn’t help but wonder what was going through her mind now, after all the emotional moments they had shared just moments ago. Ruhanika’s gaze wandered to the three brothers — Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep — who were standing with their backs to her, clearly unaware of her next move. She stood up slowly, her movements deliberate, as if plotting something.

Ruhanika: "Ahhhh"

Ruhanika sat back down, her expression suddenly changing to one of playful innocence as she gently held her foot, pretending to be in need of assistance. Before Rudraksh and Kartavya could say anything, Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep, who had been standing with their backs to her, noticed her and immediately approached her, eager to help.

Without missing a beat, the three of them kneeled down in front of her and gently held her foot, ready to assist as if she were truly in need of support. Ruhanika smiled warmly at their gestures, finding comfort in their concern and, of course, the subtle mischief she had created.

Rudraksh: "Nautanki"

(Drama Queen)

Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle at Ruhanika's cleverness.

Rishwik: "Angel, kaha lagi hai??"

(Angel, where does it hurt?)

Ashvik: "Kaise lagi batao"

(Tell us how you got hurt.)

Amandeep: "Dardd hai??"

(Does it still hurt?)

Ruhanika giggled, a playful sparkle in her eyes, as she raised her hands to her ears in a mock gesture of apology. Her innocent, yet mischievous, action was both endearing and amusing, making everyone around her smile.

Ruhanika: "Hum thik hai, par aur thik ho jayenge agar aap sab hume maaf kar denge."

(I’m fine, but I’d feel even better if you all forgave me.)

The three of them shot a playful glare at Ruhanika, their expressions a mix of mock disapproval and amusement. But when Ruhanika puckered her lips into a cute pout, their resolve melted instantly. Her innocent, endearing expression was impossible to resist, and their stern faces softened in an instant. Each of them couldn’t help but smile at how effortlessly she could win them over with just a simple pout.

Ruhanika: "Pleaseeessss."

Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep couldn't hold back their laughter as Ruhanika's pout melted their hearts. They exchanged amused glances before each of them pulled her into a warm embrace, enveloping her with care and affection. Ruhanika giggled softly as they surrounded her, feeling their love and teasing comfort.

Ashvik: "Dobara ye bakwas ki toh pitai lagaunga."

If you say something like that again, I’ll give you a good beatings)

Rishwik: "Mere hote huye meri Angel ko kaise maroge??"

(How dare you beat my Angel when I’m here?)

Amandeep: "Main kuch kahunga bhi toh kal nayi naukri ki talaash me nazar aaunga."

(If I even say anything, I’ll probably be looking for a new job tomorrow.)

They all chuckled, the sound of their laughter filling the room as Ruhanika basked in the warmth of her brothers' embrace. However, the lighthearted atmosphere was interrupted when Kritika cleared her throat, drawing everyone's attention.

Kritika: "Uhhhmmm"

Ruhanika smiled brightly as she walked towards Kritika.

Ruhanika: "Kritika didi, hum aapse bhi Bahaut pyaar karte hai."

(Kritika sis, I love you very much too.)

Kritika: "Mujhe toh jhappi nahi di tumne."

(Then where’s my hug?)

Ruhanika giggled softly as she wrapped her arms around Kritika, pulling her into a tight, affectionate hug. Kritika, with a gentle smile, embraced her back just as warmly, the connection between the two sisters evident in the way they held each other.

Rudraksh: "oh meri Rajkumari ji, Nautanki ka power pack performance ho gaya ho toh chalo dinner karne, ye kaante jaise shareer me jaan daalo."

(Oh, my princess! If your power-packed performance is over, shall we go have dinner now? Put some life in your thin body)

Ruhanika: "Kya kehte hai kuch samajh hi nahi aata hai hume, chaliye bhai's hum chalte hai."

(What did you just say? I didn’t understand a word. Come on, brothers, let’s go.)

Ruhanika held Ashvik’s and Rishwik’s hands, her grip gentle but filled with affection. The three of them, along with the others, began to make their way toward the dining area.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, nakhreli ladki ruko tum."

(Ruh, such a dramatic girl, wait!)

Rudraksh playfully ran after Ruhanika, a mischievous smile on his face as he tried to catch her. The others giggled, watching the lighthearted chase unfold. Ruhanika, with a playful grin, quickly darted behind Amandeep, using him as her shield. Rudraksh slowed down, pretending to be frustrated, but his eyes twinkled with amusement. Amandeep chuckled, trying to shield Ruhanika from Rudraksh’s playful advances.

As the playful chase continued, Savisha stood beside Kartavya, holding onto his biceps for support. She rested her head gently on his shoulder, feeling comforted by his presence. Kartavya, his arm instinctively wrapping around her, kissed the top of her head, his lips lingering for a moment in a tender gesture. With a soft smile, he caressed her cheek, his touch gentle and affectionate.

Kartavya: "Ki Hoya meri Mahiye nu??"

(What happened to my love?)

Savisha: "Aap kal mere sath gurudware chalenge Avya??"

(Will you come with me to the gurudwara tomorrow, Avya?)

Kartavya: "Ishaa, bachcha kya zarurat hai jab..."

(Ishaa, is it necessary? When...)

Savisha: "Ye haq hai mera Avya, waheguru mujhse Mera haq nahi cheen sakte, chaliye na please."

(It’s my right, Avya. Waheguru can’t take that right away from me. Please come with me?)

Kartavya: "Okayy."

Savisha smiled softly, but there was a hint of sadness in her eyes that didn’t go unnoticed by Kartavya. Sensing her quiet sorrow, he gently cupped her face, lifting her chin to meet his gaze. Without saying a word, he leaned in and placed a tender kiss on her forehead, silently offering her comfort. Her heart warmed at his gesture, and she instinctively wrapped her arms around him, holding him close.

After a few moments of solace, the two of them rejoined the others. The dinner table was filled with laughter, the sound of playful teasing echoing through the room. It was a lively atmosphere, where every smile and joke lifted the spirits of everyone present. Despite the earlier quiet moments, the warmth of the evening surrounded them, with love and laughter bonding them all together.

Here’s the second update of the week, just as promised!

Precap: Another suspense is likely to be revealed in the next chapter.

Some confessions come unexpectedly, and that’s what makes them beautiful.🧿

Now, no one should ask for another update, because it’ll be coming on Saturday. This one’s a bit longer, so hang tight until Saturday evening.

But yes, make sure to hit the target by then. No comment target this time, so I’m hoping for at least votes.

Target: Votes: 1.5k
