Chapter 1276
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
Cecilia and the man had sex until the middle of the night. She panted as he carried her to the bed. She had nothing on, with only a thin blanket covering her body.
Exhausted, she immediately fell asleep after closing her eyes. After the man left, the huge villa finally quieted down.
Cecilia woke up around noon. She supported her head as she stared at Zach beside her, who looked as if he was in a deep sleep. She ran her slender fingers across his handsome face. With his eyes closed, he lay still, breathing weakly.
This reminded Cecilia of their past life when, after their intimate moments, she used to enjoy watching him sleep peacefully. However, Zach was always vigilant. No matter how late they finished their intimate act, he would not drift into a deep sleep. He would wake up at even the slightest sound. She could never caress his face like she was doing now.
Aside from his capabilities, Zachâs greatest advantage was his charming face that could captivate countless women.
Whether it was the current him or the Zach in his fifties in Ceciliaâs past life, she found him mature and charming. He exuded the aura of someone in control. There was no one quite like him in the entire Ventropolis.
Cecilia was lost in thoughts, âI admit Iâm obsessed with Zach. For both my past life and current life, I invested all my time in him, helping him on his journey to success. I watched him become someone that everyone envies.
âHow many people of his age could become the most powerful person in Ventropolis solely by their own efforts?
Even those with great authority have to listen to Zach.
âI donât know what Zach has up his sleeve, but I donât care.â
A servant knocked on the door, âMs. Samford, lunch is ready. May I come in?
Cecilia looked at the messy room with scattered underwear and fragments of outerwear. She indifferently got up from the bed, completely undressed, and said, âCome in.â
The servant caught a glimpse of Ceciliaâs naked body and quickly lowered her head. The servant was used to such scenes. âMs. Samford, would you like to bathe and change? I can prepare a bath for you right now.â
With an air of arrogance resembling a queen, Cecilia stood in front of the full- length mirror, relishing the marks left by the man from last night. She said, â Bring me my clothes.â
âOkay.â
The servant hurried to the cloakroom and fetched a cozy robe for Cecilia before helping her to put it on.
Cecilia condescendingly smirked when she saw the servant being so nervous, â Donât be so nervous;
youâll get used to it.
âDo you think my figure is good?â
The servant replied without hesitation, âYes. Youâre the most beautiful person Iâve ever seen.â
This response pleased Cecilia, âGo and prepare the bath. Iâll take a bath now.â
âOkay, Ms. Samford.â
The heating was on in the villa. The temperature inside was comfortable, extremely different from the weather outside.
After Cecilia took the bath, she noticed the weather was nice. So, she lay on the balcony of the master bedroom on the second floor, basking in the sun.
Shortly after, a man driving a multi- purpose vehicle exited hurriedly from the car, entered the villa, and quickly went to the second floor.
Upon seeing the medical equipment in the room and Cecilia enjoying the sun while having afternoon tea on the balcony, he approached her. He spoke, â Ms. Samford, weâve arranged everything according to your instructions. Do you really want to⦠blow up the Southern Haven Villas?
âIf Fredâs people got hurt, not only you but a few of us wonât be able to escape.â
Cecilia replied, âIâve said it; I want it to be an accident. Do you understand?
âI want it to be done smoothly. An explosion that no one can escape. Or it can be a massive fire that will completely destroy Southern Haven Villas.â
