Who Laughs at War

Not everyone hated human.

Not every human hated demons.

That is true.

That is normal.

But the majority does.

The demons who doesn't hate the human. They are in one place being summoned by the Demon King.

"Do you....want to live with human?" He asks.

"Is that possible?" A demon who looks like a bull and half human asks.

Zenzur smiles.

"I thought it might be hard but maybe. I am also not sure."

"King, didn't you already decided that we will all....die?" The old man asks.

Zenzur smiles.

"I....I wanted to give it a chance. A way were everyone will be able to live. Where we can erase the hatred."

"Erase the hatred?" Everyone are aware that it is impossible.

"How about if they fulfilled their heart desire. Died and ressurected?"

He struggles to say it.

"What? Resurrected? Yes. The legend says the demon King can do that. Amazing."

"My Lord, won't it be too hard? Your horn...."

"At least the hatred will be paid.. that is okay? Right?"

".....if the King will sacrificed his own life....The demons who usually have a kind heart might melted. It is a possibility." The otherd agreed too.

"Good. Okay....When the war started I will make them drink this........"

Everyone thinks it is possible but also their heart are trembling.

Isn't this plan meant to take the king's life away?

But the King looks so happy while saying it.

They all look at him with his sparkling eyes.

He planned the future without him.

"You all can be happy!"

The King smiles as he convince everyone.

"The King....he doesn't include himself when he says 'you all', right?" The small demon cried.

The older demon tighten her hold to the small child.

"Everyone realized....so do not say anymore." She says looking ahead.

The small demon realized that everyone is crying while forcing to move away.

Yes.

Everyone might have a happy future.

But the King who got betrayed by his own people might die for the same people.

"He really is....the strongest King." Archangel clench his fist.

Jasper sighs.

"We will do our best too. We have to end this hatred!"

Jasper nods.

'If I made it through....will you take me in as your wife?'

Jasper lips twitch.

"Why would I take him as my wife?"

"Did you say anything?" Archangel paused.

"Nothing."

"Ho.....Must be nice not only being a lady killer but also a man killer."

"Shut up!"

"I was rejected for this kind of man? He must be out of his mind."

Jasper walks faster.

He himself doesn't understand that man's head.

War.

The demon who is prepared to lose their lives become scared.

Why do we have to die?

Suddenly, they feared death.

They have children, wives, friends.

Everyone hated death.

Because death means the end.

But they can't back out.

It is pride as a demon.

Hatred toward human.

They have to end it.

Kill!.

"Are you ready?" The King shouted.

"Kill the human!!"

Zenzur looks at the other side with the same amount of men as all the demon raises.

"Attack!"

Archangel looks at the enemy.

"Are you all ready?"

"Hoooooo!!!"

"Fight!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!"

"Destroy the Demons."

"Kill!!!"

The war begun.

It is in the empty dessert.

Killed.

Slashed.

Tears are slowly drifting as one after another lose their lives.

Hatred?

There is nothing but the means to lived.

One more hour.

I have to live so I can kill more of my enemy. So we can protect the future.

What future?

The kids are all dead.

They drink poison..

There is no point of fighting.

So why are we fighting.

Slashed.

The human soldier flinch when the demon stop moving. His sword slashed to his body.

The demon look at the armored soldier.

"I am tired." The demon smiles and his body fell down.

The soldier become unable to move.

"What are you doing? Kill the demon!" Thw captain touch the soldiers shoulder and scream.

"Sir..."

"What?"

"They are crying."

The captain pursed his lips and pat the soldiers head.

"Good. Look closely....So you will understand what they are fighting for."

"Are we....doing the right thing, Sir?"

"Do not be weak. Do not waver or you will die! War is not about who is right but who will win!"

"But....it doesn't feel right."

The captain click his tongue and unsheated his sword and fight the demon who is charging.

"Why? Why are you ceying demons!!" Ge shouted as he slash his sword and the demon can only defend. "You can't even fight back!"

The demon smirks.

"Obviously!"

"What is obvious? Tell me demon!" The captain made the dwmon lose his balance as he stumble.

The demon cough blood as he sneers.

"I....I am a farmer....how would I know how to fight with swords?"

"Then why are you fighting?"

The demon smiles disappear.

"Because you human, you human are killing us!"

Every part of the war has their story.

Everyone fighting has their past and loveones.

They are fighting because they are in the right.

Both sides are right.

But two contradicting rights can't coexist.

Because hatred will breed the oppressed.

"Urgh!!"

"I killed a human!" A demon cheered.

But when he looks back.

Hundreds of demons are dead.

"Well....I guess....I....Haah.." the cheer disappear.

This is war.

Once you have an ally, the next thing they are gone.

So why do they go to war?

For glory?

"Kill the demons!!"

"Attack those human!"

7 days.

Human and Demon.

The worst battle in the whole history ended.

And nobody can tell who won or lose.

Because everyone came back alive.

Only one is said to die.

The one who ressurrected them all.

Cough.

Cough.

"Why did you stand up?"

Jasper stood up and took a glass of water and hand it to Zenzur.

Zenzur smiles and hold the glass but his trembling hands let it go.

It fell.

"I...I'm sorry."

Zenzur frowns.

Jasper scoop his and carry him back to the bed.

"Wait here. I will get the water."

"Feed me by mouth."

Jasper clicked his tongue.

"Yes.....You can also used your tongue." Zenzur added.

Jasper lips twitch.

"You are so carefree."

He supports Zenzur head and make him drink the water slowly.

"Ack." Cough cough.

But even a small amount of water can choke him.

Jasper took a deep breath.

He took the water in his mouth and kiss him...no..feed him the water.

It somehow turn into a deep kiss but Jasper angrily punch him.

Zenzur felt the world is rotating as he slump on the bed.

"You! Opportunist!" Jasper wipes his mouth.

Zenzur licks his lips.

"Water is yummy...."

Jasper shakes his head.

"Idiot. You never learn."
