Love starved

She was a love Letter girl

In double tap world

Reyansh stepped out of his apartment, the evening air cool against his skin. He had just moved into the neighborhood, his apartment beside aradhya and Karan's apartment.

His eyes  gazed on aradhya who just came back from the work.

For a moment, time seemed to stand still. Reyansh’s eyes softened, filled with a deep, unspoken love.

They were cold, filled with a mixture of anger and hurt. She hadn’t forgiven him for the past, and the sight of him only reignited her pain.

“Aradhya,” Reyansh said softly, taking a step forward.

She stiffened, her grip tightening on the door handle. “What are you doing here?” she asked, her voice laced with bitterness.

“I just moved in,” he replied, gesturing towards his apartment.

"You did it on purpose didn't you?"she asked him.

He scratched his neck and looked at her innocently before speaking"i did not know you lived here"

'liar'she muttered under her breath.

“Well, now you do,” she said curtly, turning away from him. “Stay out of my way.”

Just as Aradhya was about to step inside, Reyansh reached out and gently held her pinky finger. The unexpected touch sent a jolt through both of them, like an electric current sparking between their skin.

Aradhya froze, her breath catching in her throat. The warmth of his touch was familiar yet foreign, stirring emotions she had tried to bury. She turned her head slightly, her eyes meeting his once more.

“Please, Aradhya,” Reyansh whispered, his voice barely audible. “Just hear me out.”

For a moment, she stood there, torn between the urge to pull away and the inexplicable pull of his touch.

But the pain was still too raw. With a sharp intake of breath, she pulled her hand away, breaking the connection. “Don’t,” she said, her voice trembling. “Just don’t.”

her eyes still cold but now tinged with a hint of sadness. “I can’t forgive you, Reyansh,” she said, her voice trembling. “You hurt me too much.”

“I’ll do anything for your forgiveness,” he pleaded, his eyes searching hers for any sign of hope.

Aradhya took a deep breath, her gaze unwavering. “Anything?” she asked, a challenge in her tone.

“Anything,” he confirmed, his voice steady.

“Then bring a dead flower back to life,” she said, her words cutting through the air like a knife. She knew it was impossible, a task meant to convey the depth of her pain and the impossibility of her forgiveness.

Reyansh’s heart sank, but he didn’t let go. “I can’t make a dead flower bloom again,” he admitted, his voice soft but resolute. “But maybe… maybe I can help a new flower bloom.”

Aradhya’s eyes widened slightly, caught off guard by his response. She could see the sincerity in his eyes, the genuine desire to make amends. For a moment, she hesitated, the walls around her heart wavering.

Aradhya shook her head, her eyes filled with a mix of frustration and sorrow. “It’s not possible for a flower to bloom, Reyansh,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “There’s no light.”

Reyansh stepped closer, his gaze unwavering. “Then I’ll be the light,” he said earnestly. “Just give me a chance. I love you, Aradhya.”

She looked at him, her expression hardening. “Love isn’t important, Reyansh. Self-respect is important,” she replied, her voice firm. “Would you let your self-respect go for me? No, right? You wouldn’t kneel down and beg for me. You wouldn’t.”

Reyansh’s heart ached at her words, but he didn’t back down. “I would,” he said softly, his eyes locked onto hers. “I would do anything for you, Aradhya. Even if it means kneeling down and begging. I don’t care about being a king or my pride. All I care about is you.”

Aradhya’s resolve wavered for a moment, the sincerity in his voice piercing through her defenses. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. “You’re a king of Rajasthan, Reyansh. You won’t do that. So just give up.”

Reyansh dropped to his knees, his eyes never leaving hers. “I won’t give up,” he said, his voice filled with determination. “Not on you. Not on us. Please, Aradhya, just give me a chance to prove it.”

Aradhya stared at him, her heart pounding in her chest. She had never expected him to go this far, to show this level of vulnerability. For the first time, she saw a glimmer of hope, a possibility that maybe, just maybe, things could be different.

But the pain was still there, and she wasn’t ready to let it go. “Get up, Reyansh,” she said, her voice trembling. “This doesn’t change anything.”

Reyansh slowly stood up, his eyes filled with a mixture of hope and sadness. “I’ll wait, Aradhya,” he said softly. “As long as it takes.”

With that, he turned and walked away, leaving her standing there, her heart torn between the past and the possibility of a new beginning.

Reyansh sat in his dimly lit room, the soft glow of the table lamp casting a warm light on the photograph of Aradhya. Her smile in the picture was radiant, a stark contrast to the coldness he had seen in her eyes earlier. He reached out, gently tracing the outline of her face with his finger, his heart aching with longing.

As he gazed at her picture, the melody of “Teri Tasveer Ke Sahare” began to play in his mind. The lyrics resonated deeply with his emotions, each word echoing the love and pain he felt. Unable to hold back, he began to softly sing the song, his voice filled with emotion.

“Teri tasveer ke sahare, jee raha hoon main…”

His voice was barely above a whisper, but it carried the weight of his feelings. He closed his eyes, letting the music envelop him, each note a reminder of the love he still held for her.

“Tu jo nahi hai yahan, toh zindagi mein kya hai…”

The words flowed effortlessly, each line a testament to his unwavering love. He opened his eyes, looking at her picture once more, his heart filled with a mixture of hope and despair.

“Bas teri yaadon mein, khoya rehta hoon…”

Reyansh’s voice trembled slightly, the raw emotion evident in every note. He knew that winning her back would be a long and difficult journey, but he was willing to endure it all for the chance to see her smile again.

With the ending of song,he placed the photograph back on the table, his heart heavy but resolute. He knew the road ahead would be challenging, but he was ready to face it, one step at a time.

Aradhya entered inside to meet with a cute sight,Karan sleeping on couch hugging the pillow and the television on with movie on.

She chuckled lightly, the frustration long gone forgotten.

'he should not sleep here'she thought looking at how uncomfortable the position is but knowing she can't carry him,she properly made him lay at the couch and then grabbed a blanket from room, covering him so he sleeps comfortably.

Till he is sleeping, she thought to cook for both of them.but before that she needed to change into more comfy outfit.

Smelling aroma of the food,Karan woke up and a graceful smile formed on his lips.

"Aru"he exclaimed from the hall.

"Haan"came her reply from kitchen.

(Yes)

He looked at the blanket and smiled, getting up from the couch he made his way towards kitchen.

"Kya pakaya ja raha hai?"he asked leaning on the wall of entrance.

(What are you Cooking?)

"Pasta"she replied with a smile and his eyes sparkled with happiness.

"Yay!you are best aru"he said smiling widely.

"I know I know"she said passing him a smirk.

He shook his head with a smile.

Their playful conversation was disturbed by the bell on door.

Karan went to open the door.

"Bhaiyaa"Karan exclaimed in happiness and hugged his brother.

Aradhya could hear his excited voice from kitchen and she sighed hoping that reyansh hasn't come with his brother.

But to her bad luck he was also present there.

Seeing the pasta on dining table, dhruv looked at Karan with narrowed eyes.

Both the brothers loved pasta so much and during childhood they would fight who would get more from mother.

"Aree, aise mat ghuro hun share nahi kar rahe"Karan said sticking his tongue out.

(Don't look at me like that,I am not sharing)

"Dhruv bhaiya and Mr Rajput you also join us"Aradhya said politely looking at only dhruv, still having her manners.

Dhruv nodded with a smile and now he gave a smirk to Karan who pouted.

Meanwhile, Reyansh seemed to lost in his own world though he heard her every word.

Reyansh's heart skipped a beat when he saw her wearing a light blue kurti.

The color suited her perfectly, enhancing her natural grace and beauty. Even in a foreign country, she remained deeply connected to her roots, and this simple yet elegant attire was a testament to that.

He couldn’t help but admire her from a distance, his eyes tracing the delicate embroidery on her kurta. The sight of her in traditional Indian clothing brought back a flood of memories.the red saree she wore on first day of their wedding.

At that time,he wasn't fond of looking at her but still couldn't help but think how beautiful she looked in that saree.

Reyansh felt a surge of emotions—love, admiration, and a deep sense of longing. He was captivated by her ability to stay true to herself, even in a place far from home. It was one of the many things he loved about her, and seeing her like this only strengthened his resolve to win her back.

As she walked past him, her presence filled the air with a sense of familiarity and warmth. Reyansh’s heart ached with the desire to be close to her, to share in the life she was building. He knew that the journey ahead would be challenging, but moments like these gave him hope. He was determined to be the light she needed, to help a new flower bloom in the garden of their relationship.
