Chapter 7- We Meet Again

Just as I looked outside, I saw a familiar face. I narrowed my eyes and saw Chase.

"Chase?" I muttered under my breath and his eyes shot up at me.

I stood up along with Rhea and Mr. Chivalry came in with Chase. While he walked in, he observed me slowly. His eyes ran up and down my body and he smiled.

"Good Morning, Mr. Chivalry," I spoke breaking the silence while looking at Chase.

"Good afternoon to you too, Olive," he chuckled as he picked up a file. "So when is our investor's meeting today?" He asked me.

My eyes were pierced to chase's and I didn't hear the question. He closed the file and looked at me.

"Olive, I asked when is our investor's meeting today?" He asked again and I dropped my eyes to the ground quick.

"Oh I'm... I'm really sorry Mr. Chivalry. But umm... The investors are coming at 4:30 today," I finally spoke and found Chase staring at me.

"Are you okay Olive? You seem a little off today," Mr. Chivalry said.

"I'm perfectly fine. It's just too much is happening today so far but I'm okay Mr. Chivalry," I said as I took the files. "I will arrange them quickly."

"Oh I almost forgot to tell you something," he trailed off. He placed his hand on chase's shoulder, "this is Chase Chivalry, my son."

I was shocked. What? How is that possible? Oh! Then it hit me that the girl in the restaurant said 'Chase Chivalry'

Chase extended his arm and smiled at me. I shook his hand and smiled faintly. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you," I said.

The handshake was firm. For sure he was going to be great in office. "The pleasure is all mine. I have heard so much about you from father," he said and I saw a glint of happiness in his eyes.

"I hope it's the good stuff you heard," I smiled and Mr. Cavalry chuckled.

"Don't worry dear everything you do is good," he chuckled and patted my shoulder.

Chase shook Rhea's hand and greeted her. She looked at me and smirked.

"I will take your leave now Mr. Chivalry," I stated as I went towards the door.

"By the way Olive," he started and I stopped at the door and looked back at him. "Before the meeting, I have a conference and I need you and Ms. Kapoor to be there."

I nodded and went out. While I was walking down the hallway, I looked back and saw chase poking his head out the room and waving at me. I smiled at him and walked down to my office.

"You guys were so cute in there," Rhea spoke, enthusiastically.

I was taken aback by what she said. "What?" I asked, curiously.

"Don't act all innocent because I saw everything that was going down, up there," she started and I looked away.

"Nothing was going down, up there Rhea," I finally spoke.

"Don't even try to deny it olive. You both have definitely met before," she exclaimed.

"Even if we did now it doesn't matter. He is my boss's son which basically means he is my boss," I explained.

"So? People fall in love with their bosses it's not a big deal," she said.

"Love?" I almost chocked on air. "Rhea you are taking this conversation to the next level while I am still sitting and preparing to buckle up."

"The way he was looking at you and talking to you proves that he is interested in you," Rhea spoke with confidence.

"How about we only pay attention to business right now?" I asked her as she sat down on the chair next to mine.

"Whatever you say," she said.

I started going through the files and typed everything up on my computer quickly. I looked at the clock and the meeting was going to start in half hour and before the meeting, we had to go to the conference room.

"C'mon Rhea we have to go to the conference room now," I said as I stood up with the files and opened the door.

She went out and right behind her I went out. Both of us went upstairs to the conference room and sat down. "So I heard that there are two new bosses coming today. I have already seen the first one but I wonder how the second one will look," Rhea spoke with enthusiasm.

"Oh god Rhea you are so you," I chuckled.

"Obviously," she said, flicking her hair back. Both of us laughed.

"So about earlier, who was that guy?" I asked.

"Don't worry Olive, he was just-"

"Don't worry? What do you mean by don't worry? He almost killed you."

"I will tell you about this later Olive, I promise."

"Whatever it is I want to know about it, right now."

"Not now. I will tell you when we have free time."

"This is office Rhea. I don't think we will get any free time."

"We'll see."

"But-"

"No butts, no cuts, no coconuts," she interjected.

I looked at her and laughed. "You are so childish Rhea, oh god."

Both of us laughed at what she said and suddenly the door opened and we saw Mr. Chivalry, Chase and another man come in.

I narrowed my eyes once more and looked at who the last person walked in. I felt like I have seen him somewhere. Then I realized that he was the one who was hitting on me in the parking lot.

I groaned in frustration. He better not be chase's brother and the second boss of this company.

"This is Jeremy Chivalry, my other son," Mr. Chivalry said.

Jeremy's eyes wandered around my body and a baby smile appeared on his face. I extended my arm and he shook my hand. "It's nice meeting you Mr. Chivalry," I said.

"It's nice meeting you too," he spoke and didn't let go of my hand.

"Excuse me," I said as I snatched my hand back and chase chuckled to himself. I looked at Rhea and she signaled towards me and chase.

"Olive as I was saying before that my two sons were coming and now they are starting their job here. I want both of you girls to assist them as you assisted me. Now Olive you will assist Chase and Rhea will assist Jeremy. Okay?" He explained as both I and Rhea nodded.

However Jeremy didn't look pleased with Mr. Chivalry's decision. He was going to say something but before he could say anything, Chase interrupted. "Alright why not get to work right away Olive?" He said.

I nodded with a smile. "Sure sir after you."

"Not sir, call me chase."

"Sir it won't be appropriate for me to call you by your first name in office."

"Well everything is appropriate with me so you will call me chase, okay?"

"Okay."

"Alright father I will be getting the tenders ready and then Jeremy and Rhea can look over it before we hand it over to the board."

"That is actually an amazing idea Chase. Good luck for your first day boys."

Chase and I smiled at Mr. Chivalry. I looked at Rhea and found her staring at me playfully. Chase opened the door for me. "After you," he said.

I smiled and both of us went out.
