Bonus Chapter
Accidentally Met Mr. Billionaire ✔️ [Under Editing]
As you guys helped me reach one million, I decided to write a bonus chapter on Olive, Chase and the rest of the group.
I hope you like it!
Happy reading!
___
I wake up to my alarm which is for Aurora to get ready for school.
It has been almost eight years since Rhea and Sameer got married. That day is still fresh in my mind as if it was yesterday.
That happy day followed by another one almost a year later when Jeremy and Amanda decided to get married.
I open my eyes and look around. As I'm about to get up, I feel a pair of arms holding onto me tightly.
I turn my head towards my left and find Chase, sleeping peacefully next to me with his arm around my waist.
I smile and peck his forehead.
This is what I imagined my life to be. It has been almost eleven years since we have been married and thirteen since we've known each other.
It feels like just yesterday, everything happened and we got married but that was such a long time ago.
Last week, I found this girl in my hospital who seemed so much like me. Unfortunately, just like me, her mother also abandoned her.
Why did I ever do that?
I sigh.
I slowly move Chase' arm away and get up. "Mmm," I hear chase moan behind me who's now holding onto my arm.
"Good morning," I say and sit down on the bed, next to him.
"Good Morning beautiful," he mutters and smiles.
I get up again but he swiftly pulls my arm and I fall in bed next to him. I look up to find him smirking at me.
"Chase, let go of me," I say as I'll the other way.
C'mon morning breath is an actual thing.
"C'mon, why can't I have some alone time with you?" He frowns and lets go of my arm and I quickly get up.
"You will," I say as I pull my hair up in a messy bun.
Apparently, Chase is quite fond of my buns. He loves it when my hair are all messy and my bangs and everywhere. I believe my hair look like a freaking bird nest but he thinks it's sexy.
Well, Chase is still Chase after all these years.
"You always say that but I never get to spend time with you," He retorts. "Now, you'll wake Aurora up and then get her ready. You'll make breakfast for us and then leave before I could come out of shower. Then, I drop Aurora to school and leave for my work. I also pick her up and make her finish all her homework. Then, almost late at night you come back from work. Where do you think alone time fits?"
I chuckle at his statement. "Oh Chase, you're such a baby."
"I have the right to be when I'm raising one."
"I'm not a little baby anymore," an awake Aurora complains as she walks into our room.
I am pretty shocked to see her awake before I wake her up. Usually she's like Chase, takes forever to wake up.
"Aurora?"
"Yes mommy?"
"How did you wake up so early?" I ask and she smiled at me.
"I learned it from school. All of my friends wake up by themselves and I wanted to do the same and not trouble you," she replies back as I walk to her and kiss her forehead.
"Come here baby," Chase excitedly says and Aurora jumps her way towards chase and lays down next to him as he pecks her forehead.
I make my way to the bathroom and sigh. "C'mon get ready, you know you have school."
"But mommy school is so boring. All we do right now is learn multiplication and division. That's super easy," Aurora says and I smile.
So much has changed since we left UK. I moved here after learning about my long lost daughter.
We checked in with the assistant and he told us where she lived. We asked around and found out that she ran away.
She ran away when she was ten. She was as old as Aurora when she ran away. How did she manage?
To this day I wonder what condition she's in. If she's fine or not. But, we found out that the adoption agency found her and she's found a home.
They didn't reveal that detail to us because apparently the people who adopted her, didn't want her birth parents to find her.
Apparently, Rhea asked us to move with her to New York. So, we did. Now, we live in New York. The big apple of United States.
As for Aurora, she blended in so well that her British accent is long gone. Whenever she talks, I could hear the American accent vibrating through her.
Apparently, Americans love British accent. I don't know what's so special about the way we speak but they do.
So, Aurora always complains about wanting our accent. Not all of her accent is gone but most of it faded away and American accent took over.
Sometimes on weekends, Chase and I try to teach her British accent but she finds it hard to speak.
We try.
"I'll get ready," Aurora jumps out of bed and leaves the room.
___
It's been a long day.
As usual I'm late and they are both sound asleep for sure. Tonight, it's almost 12 and I'm done with work. It is quite late.
I sigh as I get out of my car and walk towards the mansion, I call my home. I pull out my keys and unlock the door and walk into the darkness.
My phone lights up and it's 11:59. I sigh and slowly walk towards the light to turn it on.
Just as I turn it on, everyone pops up out of nowhere and shout, "Happy birthday!"
At first I'm confused and jump as they scared me but then smile. I look around and find Chase, Aurora, Rhea, Sameer, Jai, Jeremy, Amanda and, Cami.
I smile as they all approach me.
Chase pulls me into a hug, swings me around and puts me back on my feet. "Happy birthday Olive," he places a soft kiss on my lips and smiles.
"Thank you Chase," I reply back.
I look down and find Aurora holding onto a birthday hat. She gestures me to bend down and I do as she slowly places the birthday hat on my head.
"Happy birthday Mommy," she says with a huge smile on her face.
"Thank you baby," I whisper and get up.
Rhea almost runs towards me and hugs me. "Happy birthday," she shouted near my ear.
"Thank you," I reply back.
Everyone wish me and I thank them. I couldn't believe that I didn't remember my own birthday.
Wow.
I look at them who are setting up the cake and playing with the kids. I sigh and look outside the window.
The moon is shining bright and the stars are all visible and lighting up.
I don't really celebrate my birthdays but ever since Aurora knew of birthdays, she would want me to celebrate mine. Now, I don't mind celebrating it with them.
But I can't stop my thoughts from wandering away to my daughter. Her birthday is the same day as mine which is one of the reasons why I don't celebrate it. It's because I miss her like crazy.
I can't just stop thinking about my daughter even though I might never get to see her. She's the first thing that comes to my mind on my birthday. Today she turned eighteen.
I smile as I look at my necklace which has a picture of her when she was ten and of Aurora.
Apparently, her previous adoptive parents were nice enough to give us some of her belongings which she left. One of them included a picture of her which I held onto.
"Happy birthday," I whisper, holding onto the necklace as a tear rolled down my cheek.
"Olive, let's go," I hear Rhea shout and I quickly wipe away the tear and smile as I turn around and walk over to them.
As I reach the table, I notice two cakes, one with my name on it and another one with only 'happy birthday' on it.
I look up and find Chase smiling towards me. "I know it's her birthday too," he whispers in my ear.
I smile as tears start welling up in my eyes. "Thank you," I mouth and he pecks my forehead.
I blow out the candles and make a wish.
