Chapter 31- Plans And Dinner

Accidentally Met Mr. Billionaire ✔️ [Under Editing]

"Wait, but I never saw her," I said, looking at Edward who just explained the whole Richard and Amanda situation.

Apparently they got together after I left Richard at the altar. According to Edward, Richard was broken and devastated when I left. I see no regret nor devastation in his eyes when he looks at me.

All I see is lust and hatred for me.

He never loved me. Maybe from the start he wanted to hurt me. He did a pretty good job at that.

"She came later on," Edward replied as Cherry and Chase' face grew more and more red. "I wasn't there so I don't know if they are telling the truth."

"Who can ever believe anything that Richard says," Chase scoffs and then looks at Edward in an apologetic look. "No offense."

"None taken."

"So, what's the plan?" Rhea asks and all of them look at each other but me.

"Plan? What plan?" I ask and look at them who stared at Rhea and she shrugged.

"Oh shit, she didn't know," Rhea mumbled and I looked at Chase and Cherry for an explanation.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked and nobody said anything.

"There is none. You see, we were going to have one but nobody came up with anything so there's no plan anymore," Cherry said, thinking and looking at Chase.

"Ah, I see," I said, not fully convinced.

"Yeah, its fine. All we have to do is ignore and it'll go away," Chase replied after Cherry stared at him for a while.

"That doesn't make sense-" I started.

-it does but now we don't have a plan," he cut me off.

"Uh okay," I said, unsure about what to say.

Suddenly Rhea and Jeremy stood up. "We have to get to work. So, see ya," Rhea says before leaving with Jeremy.

"I should check in with Mr. Chivalry about the housing arrangements," Edward said as he also stood up and left the room.

"Then there were three," I mutter.

"I left the office unattended. I should totally get back to work. See ya later Tutu," Cherry said before kissing my forehead and left the room.

"Then there were two," I mutter again.

"I'd love to sit down and chill with you Olive but I have to get one of the tenders completed. I'll quickly finish it and see you as soon as I can," Chase said, standing up.

He came closer to me and pecked my lips, making me feel butterflies in my stomach.

"And then there was one," I mutter as Chase left the room.

___

"Oh god Rhea, we are just going out for a dinner not to a party. You're taking forever," I groaned and knocked on her bedroom door once more.

"Yeah we know," she replied and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"We?" I asked to make sure I heard it right.

"Uh- I'm done getting ready. We uh- were just waiting for Sameer to choose his tie," she replied after some shuffling and muffled voices.

"Oh Sameer is coming too?" I excitedly asked.

"Yup, I'm also coming!" I heard an overly excited Sameer say.

"Can you both open the door then?" I asked and I didn't hear anything for a while.

"Actually Zachery and Chase are choosing the tie," Rhea replied and I almost choked on air.

"Cherry and Chase together? When did that happen?" I chuckled.

"Well, anything for you Olive and he's not that bad," Chase replied back laughing.

"I'm not that bad? Actually he's not that good but I'll handle him," Cherry said after a moment.

"Guys guys, don't start it again," Jeremy replied and then they stopped talking.

"Jeremy?" I mumbled. "What is Jeremy doing here?" I asked.

"Uh- he uh- he's also helping. You know, boy stuff," Rhea nervously chuckled.

"Then why are you inside?" I curiously asked.

"God Olive, you ask too many questions," Rhea groaned and after couple of minutes of waiting, she opened up.

The door slowly freaked open and I saw Rhea standing in front of me. Chase and Sameer stood near the closet of ties while Cherry stood in front of the mirror, looking at himself and Jeremy was trying to fix his hair.

"Come in," Rhea pulled me and I walked inside.

"Okay we are ready to go," Sameer said and we left to the dinner.

___

"We are vegetarian," I told the waiter.

"Since when are you a vegetarian?" Jeremy mumbled to chase something incoherent to my ears.

To which chase replied, "shut up."

"Alright I'll get a table for two then," the waiter said as he started cleaning a table. "Here you go."

"Oh did I forget to say that I'm also a vegetarian? Did you forget that already Olive?" Richard asked, making his way towards Chase and I.

I looked up at chase who stood next to me, his face angrier than ever. He took a step forward to say something but I stopped him.

I don't want Richard to cause a scene here.

Suddenly Rhea stood up along with Sameer right behind her. "Actually why don't you make a table of five then?" She told the waiter and he pulled five chairs.

Chase took my hand and we sat down in front of each other. As Richard made his way to the table to sit next to me, Rhea jumped and sat down next to me while Sameer sat next to chase.

Rhea looked back at Richard and smiled innocently. I smiled to myself knowing how protective she is of me.

Slowly, Richard sat down on the chair next to Sameer.

___

"That was delicious," Rhea mumbled and slowly a burp left her lips. "Excuse me."

"I love their salad and Garlic bread," I excitedly replied.

"You loved their pasta too," Richard stated and all of our smiles turned into a frown.

"Actually I hate pasta," I replied back and his smile turned into a frown.

"Spaghettis?" He asked and I nodded my head sideways. "Oh."

"Would you like to go for a walk?" Chase asked me and I smiled at him.

"I'd love to," I replied and we left.

___

"You've had enough Olive," chase replied and I put my shot down.

"Fine," I mumbled and dragged him to the dance floor.

"Dance with me Chase?" I asked and he smiled, revealing his dimples.

"Gladly," he replied making me blush.

We moved together in sync. My head was resting on his shoulder, one arm in his and the other wrapped around his neck. He held me tight with his hand on my back, not letting me go.

I felt safe with him. I felt at home, like this is where I belonged.
