Chapter 4

Fox 4

Le Renard

"So..." I started.

"Yup." Levi replied as he bit into his sandwich.

We had moved down to the kitchen after I shifted because I felt incredibly hungry. Levi told me it was because of the shift, apparently we tended to use up more energy when we shifted so we ended up eating more and more.

In front of me lied a half eaten sandwich, some chips, a slice of day old pizza and a large glass of iced tea. Alistair had a sand which and Levi had two and some chips. We had yet to discuss the fact that I had two tails since I shifted back into my human form and that was about fifteen minutes ago.

"Are we going to talk about this?" I huffed frustrated with the silence.

"If you want..."Alistair responded.

"I do! Why do I have two tails when Levi only has one?" I asked before chomping down on a handful of chips.

"Honestly I don't know. I mean I'm not that experienced in the whole familiar thing." Levi replied before Alistair could.

"Are you mad that I have one more tail than you?" I asked as soon as he finished talking.

"Not really. I'm more curious than anything." He replied shrugging his shoulders as he popped some chips into his mouth.

"So what do we do now?"

"I have someone I can ask but I don't know how long it'll take to hear back from him." Alistair replied.

I nodded my head in understanding even though I didn't really understand. Why the hell would it take so long to talk to whoever this person was? What would happen now? How would having two tails affect me?

"Stop worrying so much." Levi told me as he poked my cheek.

"Stop telling me what to do." I snapped as I swatted his hand away from my face.

He flashed me a dazzling smile before going back to the food that was in front of him. Looking up at Alistair I found him watching the both of us interact with a lazy smile on his face before he too went back to eating the little bit of food that he had. With a huff I went back to eating my food as well, welcoming the silence that it provided.

About an hour later we were back up in my room, Levi and I were lounging on the bed lazily while Alistair was in the kitchen collecting some things he needed to contact this friend of his. What he was getting I had no idea but every so often he would pop up in my mind and ask me where something was.

"I'm back!" He called as he nudged the door open with his foot.

Levi jumped up off the bed immediately to help him with the things that he was balancing in his arms. It was kind of cute to see the way Levi jumped to help him with whatever. He had the largest stainless steel mixing bowl we had in the kitchen and two unopened bottles of water.

"How are you planning on contacting your friend with that?" I asked as Levi sat down on the floor with his legs crossed.

Alistair set the two water bottles down on the floor next to Levi as he took a seat on the floor as well. He looked up at me expectantly and with a huff I plopped down on the floor in between him and Levi. He reached his hand out towards Levi wanting the mixing bowl and Levi handed it over to him.

"He doesn't exactly live in this realm." He explained.

"What do you mean he doesn't live in this realm?" I asked suspiciously.

"There are many magical creatures that reside in this realm but our true home is in Rhyeal. It's a beautiful world parallel to this one and similar as well. The sky's are a peaceful blue, the grass is a warm green and the people there socialize just like the ones here.

The main difference between here and our world is that in Rhyeal the government mostly resembles something out of one of your history books. We have Kings, Queens, princes and princesses that lead our people. "

"So why do you live here and not there?"

"Well I had never been able to find a familiar in Rhyeal so I came here to see if I could find someone who would be my familiar and it turns out that I found two." He smiled.

"How many familiars can you have?" I questioned.

"The more experienced you get the more familiars you are able to handle so it really depends on what I can handle." He explained.

"Can you handle the both of us?" I asked.

"Of course! Levi and I already have a easy connection and you seem to fit in with us perfectly." He replied as he unscrewed the caps on one of the bottles and poured the water into the steel bowl. He repeated the action with the second bottle before tossing both empty bottles to the side.

He shifted to the side a bit so that we sat almost in a triangle and he held out his hands for the both of us to take. Levi grabbed his hand and then took my hand as I grabbed Alistair's hand. Levi looked a little giddy as he closed his eyes and Alistair smiled softly as he did the same. I took that as my cue to follow there lead and soon everything was dark as I closed my eyes as well.

"Alright Levi already knows what to do but Tae I need you to keep your eyes closed as I speak when I'm done I'll let you know when you can open your eyes. Whatever you do please don't let go of either of our hands because then the connection will be lost and so will the call." Alistair explained.

With a simple nod of the head that I agreed until I realized that our eyes were closed and he couldn't see me nodding my head. So I verbally agreed with him and his hand tightened around my own as he began to speak.

The words that flowed beautifully from his mouth were definitely of a different language that sounded almost ancient. It was as a sweet melody had fallen upon my ears and I was helplessly lost in the sound of his voice.

A soft echo began to sound after each word he spoke and soon there was a slight tugging at the very core of my body. It felt like there was something flowing from deep within me and it took me a few seconds to realize that it was the same feeling I had when I shifted into my fox. A deep tingling feeling that spread throughout my body.

"You can open your eyes now." Alistair breathed.

"Alistair? Is that you?" A new voice questioned as I opened my eyes.

Levi's grip on my hand tightened as did Alistair and with good reason. I was seconds away from letting go of their hands and sprinting from the room when I saw the floating orb of water in the middle of the room with a face inside it.

"Wh-what is tha-that?" I stuttered as I tried to move away from it.

"That is my friend Alexander." Alistair laughed.

"His head!" I shouted.

"Yes, he is a floating head right now but that's not important." Levi replied quite casually.

"I think that's important." I mumbled.

"Levi's right." Alistair agreed before turning his attention back to Alexander's floating head. "Alexander as you can see I have found another familiar. Today was the first time he shifted into his fox and we found out that he has two tails instead of just one. I'm calling you because I don't understand how he has two tails already."

"Two tails? Already? Seems you found a good one Aly." He laughed and Alistair flushed red at the nickname.

"Don't call me that." He whined.

"What? Aly? But that's been your nickname since forever!" He exclaimed almost dramatically.

"Not to be rude but can we get back to what's wrong with me?" I questioned.

"To be honest I don't know, I've been at Rhyeal Academy for a while now and I've never heard of that happening." He mused more to himself.

"Rhyeal Academy?" I questioned.

"Oh yes, it's where the most prestigious mages go once they've found their familiar. I suppose now that Aly has found his familiars that he should be able to attend the academy as well." Alexander replied.

"Really?" Alistair spoke up sounding shocked.

"Yup! Usually you'd have to wait and apply for the next year but with your particular situation right now I think that the Headmaster would jump at the opportunity to admit you right now." Alexander spoke.

"But what about me? I'm still in school and I can't just leave. My parents may not pay that much attention to me but I'm sure they'll figure out that I'm not here." I argued.

"No worries that can all be taken care of. Listen I have a class in a few minutes so I have to go but I will head right over to the Headmaster's office later to let him know about your situation. You should expect a visit from him in a couple of days." He replied before saying his good byes and disconnected from his end.

Once he was gone the water dropped back into the bowl with a splash. Alistair dropped our hands and picked up the stainless steel bowl and headed back down the stairs with a simple instruction to clean up the little splash of water that had dripped down the sides of the bowl.

"Well that was interesting." I mumbled as I went into my bathroom to retrieve a towel.

"Very! We may be going to a new school. Technically I think I'm too old for school but this seems like it would be fun." Levi laughed.

"How old are you anyways? I questioned.

"I'm nineteen." He replied with a soft smile.

"Really?"

"Yup!" He replied as he jumped up and sat down on the bed.

"You act like a child." I mumbled.

"He's always been like that." Alistair laughed as he walked back in the room.

"Nu uh!" Levi whined.

Alistair didn't respond he simply stared at Levi like he was crazy. Which he probably was. Actually I think he was. I casually tossed the towel back into the bathroom and closed the door while walking to the bed.

"So when do you think we'll hear back about this interesting matter?" I questioned.

"I don't know. I'm hoping we hear back soon so that we can figure everything out." Alistair answered.

"Question. How is that going to work for me?" I asked the two of them who seemed extra excited.

I don't know Levi's history but it seems as if it was alright for him to just up and leave his home. Technically he was an adult so I guess I can see why it wouldn't have been that big a deal but I'm still in school, I'm still a minor and even if my parents barely remember I'm here I'm sure they'll realize I'm gone for so long.

"Don't worry you're not the first familiar to have a mortal family." Alistair assured me.

"If you say so." I shrugged before we went on to talk about random things.

Before I realized it so much time had passed by and the sun had begun to set outside my window. This was the first time in a while that I had someone over my house for this long without it being for some sort of school project or something.

"Tae!" My mother's voice sounded through the house and bounced off the walls until it reached my room.

"Why is she home already?" I questioned aloud.

"Your mom?" Levi questioned.

"Yeah. Unfortunately she's home earlier than I thought she would be. Usually I wouldn't see either of my parents for a few days at a time and I was assuming today would be one of those days." I grimaced.

"Is it that bad?" Alistair questioned.

"Well it's not good." I groaned as I got up and headed towards the door.

"There's a car in the front that I don't know." She called up from the bottom of the stairs.

"Yes I know mom. I have company and it would be nice if you'd stop screaming down the house." I shouted back down at her from my open doorway.

"Don't speak to me like that young man. If you're going to have guests in my house the least you can do is introduce them to me." She shouted back up sternly.

"No the least I could do is shut this door and ignore you." I mumbled as I turned back around to face my two new friends.

"So..." Levi started as he rocked back and forth on the balls of his feet.

"You heard the woman. Time to meet mother dearest." I grinned painfully wide.

"I didn't realize you could smile that hard." Alistair spoke softly.

"This my 'Everything's alright face' that I use for my parents." I explained.

"Creepy." Levi muttered.

"Well I do try." I laughed.

"Tae..." My mother shouted up in a warning tone.

With a roll of the eyes I pushed Alistair and Levi in front of me and out the door. Levi was actually excited to meet the woman who gave birth to me. He was waiting at the top of the stairs bouncing lightly on his feet.

"Calm down Levi or this lady's going to think we're strange." Alistair chided.

"Sorry." He pouted.

"Let's go before she charges up here."

With that said Levi practically sprinted down the stairs where my mother was waiting as patiently as she could. When the tall red head stopped short of the bottom of the stairs I laughed at the expression on my mother's face.

"It's nice to meet you Tae's mother. You've raised such a wonderful boy." He spoke quickly and I scoffed at the compliment knowing that my mother barely had a hand in the person I ended up being.

Alistair nudged me in the side just as my mother looked up at me with a threatening glare. Levi didn't stop speaking though. He kept complimenting the house and all the work she put into it and my mother was just soaking up all the compliments.

"And who might you be young man?" My mom questioned Alistair.

"Mom this is Alistair and that's Levi." I pointed out as Alistair stretched his hand forward for my mother to shake.

"It's nice to meet you." Alistair spoke softly and sweetly as my mother took his hand in her own shaking it firmly.

"Likewise." She replied a little hesitantly as she eyed him warily.

"Mom stop eyeing them like they're some sort of delinquents." I groaned.

"Well I wouldn't have to do that if you would have let me know that you were having people over my house." She replied in an overly sweet tone.

"I just assumed since I live here too I'd be allowed to bring some friends home." I replied in the same sweet tone earning a glare my from my mother.

"Well I'm glad you actually have friends to invite over. Anyways I only came home because I left some paperwork here." She replied as she walked away towards her in-home office.

Levi and Alistair watched her leave with confused looks on their faces. My mother often left people feeling like that. Dazed, confused and a little afraid. Turning back to me Levi stood there with his mouth partially open as Alistair spoke.

"I'm kind of scared of what will happen when she comes back." He confessed.

"If you spend enough time around her that feeling will eventually disappear." I shrugged.

"That's concerning." Levi whispered. "Hopefully we'll be accepted into the Academy thingie and then you won't have to deal with it."

"What Academy?" My mother asked as she fixed the folders in her arms.

"Um...It's a prestigious academy that only allows a select group of students in. The three of us took the test today to see if we would be accepted." Levi replied as smoothly as possible.

My mom was notorious for being able to sniff out a lie and I was thankful that what he said was technically the truth. The academy was technically only for a select group of kids, only magical people. We kind of took a test today when we explained our special situation and we were still waiting to see if we would be accepted.

"That's wonderful Tae. Why didn't you tell me?" She asked spinning around to face me.

"Because I didn't want to get your hopes up unless I knew for sure I was getting in." I replied.

"Understandable. You do have the ability to disappoint sometimes. Well I need to get going and don't wait up because your father and I both have meetings in the morning and we'll be staying in the city tonight." She replied casually as if she was talking about the weather.

Unfortunately I was used to it. They'd stay away for weeks on end having their assistants drive back to check on me every so often just to make sure I wasn't dead. What wonderful parents I had. Note the sarcasm.

"Alright bye mom." I answered as she walked back towards the door.

"Bye Tae. Oh and bye Alistair and Lenny." She called as she closed the door behind her.

"Did she just called me Lenny?" Levi questioned in disbelief.

"Yeah she did. The only reason she remembered Alistair's name is because it's so different." I answered as I turned away from the front door and headed back to the stairs and my room.

As I stomped up to my room I felt like something was off. Someone was in my room, touching my things and that was completely unacceptable. I stopped at the top of the stairs and tried to figure out a quick plan of attack.

'There's someone in my room.'  I quickly told the two of them before walking off without waiting for a response.

Slowly I crept towards my room and nudged the door open with my foot. The sound of scurrying caught my attention and automatically Levi shifted and darted into my room. I wasn't prepared for another shift so soon so I let him handle it.

The sound of whimpering and squealing echoed softly in the room until silence took over. Alistair and I were still standing outside my room in the hallway waiting for some sort of okay from Levi that the situation was handled.

Levi came strolling out of the room completely naked holding what appeared to be a small red fox by the scruff of his neck. I was too focused on the naked man standing in front of me for it to really click in my mind that there was a strange fox in my room.

"Who are you?" Alistair questioned drawing my attention back to the matter at hand.

"I don't think he can answer you like that." I commented.

"Obviously." Alistair replied with a slight blush. "Levi give him your shirt so that he can at least shift into something."

Levi walked off after I picked up his clothes from off the floor and tossed it to him reminding him to at least put back on his pants. He huffed but went off into the room anyways. Some hushed whispering followed before we were called into the room.

Sitting down cross legged on the floor was a girl who looked no older than me and Alistair but certainly smaller than the both of us. She glared at the floor as her reddish brown hair fell to the side of her face.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Alistair questioned.

"Alexander sent me but he never told me that some idiot would be tackling me when I arrived." She snapped at Alistair causing me to take a step forward.

"Don't talk to him like that, especially when you're trespassing in my house." I growled out.

"Calm down Tae." Alistair spoke softly as he rested and arm on my shoulder.

"I agree with Tae." Levi mumbled only adding fuel to my fire. Alistair shot him a look that meant 'shut up before I kill you' and immediately Levi zipped his lips.

"What message did Alexander send you with?" He questioned the rude girl again.

"He told me to tell you that the Headmaster agreed that it would be best if you three attended Rhyeal Academy. He would first like to speak to you first but he said that the sooner you arrive is the sooner everything will be taken care of." She answered automatically.

"So we're going to Rhyeal?" I questioned.

"Didn't you hear my message?" The girl questioned rudely and something in me just snapped.

In an instant I felt like I wasn't in my own body. It was as if I was only a bystander in my own body watching as the situation progressed in front of me. The girl began to claw at her neck as she was lifted up from off the ground.

Her body hang helplessly about a foot off the floor and Levi and Alistair were looking between me and the girl trying to figure out what to do. She begged and pleaded for me to let her go but her cries fell on deaf ears as she sobbed harder and harder.

"Tae please let her go." Alistair spoke softly into my ear as Levi came up on my other side.

Levi wrapped his arms around me and whispered words of comfort to me as he tried to console me. Alistair continued to ask me to let her go until slowly I began to feel like I had more control of my body and my actions.

Suddenly she dropped to the floor with a loud thud and she began panting hard and taking as many deep breaths as possible to regain her composure. She scurried away from me until her back hit the edge of my bed. Her wide eyes stared up at me in utter fear.

"I'm sorry." She whimpered as she cowered on the floor at the edge of my bed.

"I think it's best if you go back to Alexander now." Alistair replied for me.

She raised her hand, closed her eyes and shook her wrist shaking a bell that I hadn't even realized was there. The light tingling sound that chimed in the room had an airy melody that seemed highly unnatural.

Slowly an electric blue swirling vortex began to spin above her as she stood up. She bowed her head and whispered another apology before jumping up into the vortex of pure light. As soon as she was inside it she disappeared as did the vortex.

"What just happened?" Levi questioned after a few seconds of silence.

"I d-don't know." I replied in confusion. "When she didn't catch the hint that being rude wasn't the answer something in me just snapped and it was like I wasn't in control of my actions anymore."

"What you did was protect me and your instincts kicked in. Levi you have the same urge sometimes but you're used to it now. When newly changed his instincts are much higher and more animalistic." Alistair explained.

"How long will it last?" I questioned.

"I'm not sure." He replied with a shrug.

"We can find out when we go to Rhyeal Academy can't we?" Levi questioned.

"That's true. So I think we should probably pack right now." Alistair replied. "Before I forget you'll need one of these."

With that he waved his open hand around in a circle over his other open hand. A soft purple glow began to appear in the center of his hand. It glowed bright until it almost looked white then it slowly disappeared leaving behind a collar with a bell on it.

The collar itself was of an exquisite design. It was completely white with intricate gold swirling designs that wrapped around the collar ending at the golden buckle that latched it close. The bell was a small golden bell that called to me. I wanted to run my fingers along every inch of that collar.

"What is that?" I questioned reaching forward.

Alistair pulled back his hand and motioned for me to spin around with his other hand. Spinning around I waited in great anticipation for him to wrap it around my neck. I didn't wait long as I felt the smooth leather collar wrapping around my neck.

"It's a bell much like the one that familiar just had. It connects a familiar and its master whenever they're apart from each other. With a ring of the bell you'll be able to transport yourself to wherever I am regardless of how far we are from each other."

"Do you have one Levi?" I questioned knowing that I didn't see it at all.

"I have an earring version of it. Before you ask Alistair has it cloaked so that when we're in the mortal realm it doesn't show because that would be incredibly weird to explain the bell earring on a fox's ear."

"I guess that makes sense. So when do we leave?" I questioned.

"When do you want to leave?" Alistair replied.

"As soon as possible." I smiled.

"Well pack up everything and we'll leave once we get back to our house." Alistair smiled back.

"I can't believe we'll be leaving so soon. Should I leave some sort of note or something for my parents?" I questioned them.

"It would help. You said that they don't really know when you're gone so just tell them that we got accepted into the Academy and when we get to Rhyeal Academy and speak with the headmaster he'll set up a more permanent excuse." Alistair explained.

"Why haven't you gone to the academy before?" I asked Alistair as I walked into the closet.

Instantly I began to take clothes off the hangers and fold them the best I could before carrying them out to the bed where Levi was now laying. His arm was thrown over his face as his chest rose and fell heavily.

"Is he asleep?" I questioned in a hushed whisper.

"No he's just worn out." Alistair replied as he climbed onto the bed behind Levi.

Lying down on his side he rested his head on Levi's chest as I placed everything on the bed. With his eyes closed Alistair looked like a gorgeous little angel and it was hard not to climb in there next to him or the red headed Adonis whose lips were curling up into a smug grin?

"I can hear your thoughts." He mumbled as he licked his bottom lip sensually and winked at me.

"I really need to start remembering that." I groaned as I walked back into the closet listening to him laughing loudly.

Pulling off more clothes from the hangers I didn't bother folding them instead I just stood at the door and tossed them at Levi who still thought the entire thing was funny even after five minutes. Alistair jumped slightly when the clothes hit Levi in the face shutting him up finally.

"What?" Alistair questioned as he looked between the two of us with wide eyes.

"He's making fun of me." I whined with a pout on my face as I pointed at Levi from the doorway of my closet.

"Levi don't tease him." Alistair replied instantly much to Levi's chagrin.

"But he-" Levi began to argue before Alistair shot him a pointed look.

"Shush." Alistair hissed before turning his attention back to me. "Just pack up everything on the bed and I'll transport it back to the house. Make sure you bring everything you want to take to Rhyeal. Don't forget anything because I'm sure we can't just run back here and get it when we want to."

"Alright. Do you guys have a lot to pack up to? If you do then we can always meet up later at your place." I suggested.

"Not really, just a lot of our clothes I conjure up and anything that's at the house itself can stay there until we get back. I'll just put a protection spell around the place and we can come back when we need to." He explained.

"Well that's incredibly...helpful." I laughed.

"Why yes it is." Alistair smiled. "Now hurry up and finish getting your things. Levi why don't you go help him instead of lying here like a bum?"

"What? You're not going to help! Why should I?" He questioned jolting up from the bed.

"I'll be the one bringing all of us to Rhyeal so I need to reserve my energy." He yawned as he rolled over and buried his face in my pillow. He sighed heavily and wiggled his body before the fake snoring started.

"Must you be so dramatic?" Questioned Levi as he began to deftly fold my clothes faster than I was.

While he was doing that I decided to go around and collect everything else that I needed. Heading to my bathroom I snatched up my toothbrush, my favorite body wash and then my mind went to what was hiding underneath the sink.

For years it had been my only means of escape. The deep gashes that lined my arms for days before they healed over completely was my way of reminding myself that I could still feel something. After everyone practically abandoned me for such superficial reasons it was the only way to feel alive.

Should I take it?

Would I need it?

Then the sounds of Alistair and Levi bickering reminded me that I didn't need it. I now had a reason to be happy. It's strange how something so simple as gaining two need friends could make such a huge difference in my life.

I hadn't realized it until now but I don't feel like I used to. Thoughts of running away or finding some way "out" of my life haven't crossed my mind since this morning. It was if I was just waiting for them to come my way.

"What are you doing in there? I hope you're not in there thinking about me and Alistair." Levi teased.

"What? Why would he be thinking about either of u-Oh!" Alistair shouted then it tapered off into a soft whisper.

"I'm not doing that! Don't listen to him!" I shouted from inside the bathroom as all ideas of razor blades disappeared from my mind and I rushed out the bathroom.

"Sure you weren't." Levi replied sarcastically.

"I will bit you." I deadpanned as I stared at him.

"I know you want to but I'm not into the rough stuff." He laughed.

"Alright, enough of that. Finish getting your stuff together and I'll start moving things." Alistair replied with a smirk.

With a nod of my head I began dropping things onto the bed were Alistair was still half laying, half sitting. He sat up more, closed his eyes, and crossed his legs before taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly.

When he opened his eyes they were glowing a bright purple. He held out both his hands over the pile of clothes that I had stacked on the bed. He mumbled a few words that I didn't really understand but in a matter of seconds my clothes disappeared right in front of my eyes.

"Wow. That was awesome!" I shouted staring at the empty space on my bed.

"I just transported the clothes Tae, nothing special." Alistair smiled before excusing himself and walking into my bathroom.

"It may not have been anything special to you but I've never seen it before and it's so cool." I gushed.

Levi wrapped his arms around my neck from behind me as he rested his chin on my shoulder. He sighed heavily before biting my neck. To say I was utterly confused was an understatement the feelings that had rushed through me at that moment was immense.

He followed the kiss with a little kiss that spoke volumes of his gentleness. As my feelings calmed down a bit I let out a breath I didn't realize I had been holding and spun around to face him. His arms were still wrapped around my neck but now he was looking down at me at an awkward angle.

"Why'd you just do that?" I questioned.

"Growing up I was an only child, never had a friend that I considered to be as close as a brother and this feeling that I share with you right now is so new to me. It's so raw, so intense, so...so amazing that I can't help but follow it." He replied.

Looking into those expressive eyes of his I searched them to see if what he was saying was true. I wanted to know if he was just trying to play me or if he was serious because no matter how much Alistair trusted him I didn't know him.

I could find no fault though. He was serious. Everything he was saying was true and he felt strongly about following through with what he was feeling. I couldn't lie and say that I didn't feel what he was feeling but all I had was an immense attraction to them both until he bit, then kissed me.

"So do you just consider me like a brother then?" I questioned.

"No. I don't know what to consider you." He replied looking over my head.

"Where do we go from here?" I asked.

"If you want we can just see where this all goes after we get settled in at Rhyeal Academy. I don't want to pressure you into anything so I rather you just thought about it but I figured that I'd let you know how I felt before you left and traveled to a different world with us."

"What about Alistair?"

"What about him?" He replied with a knowing smirk that had my cheeks burning red.

"Do you have these feelings for Alistair?" I asked.

"Alistair knows how I feel about him and we handle it accordingly." He replied vaguely.

"You're so annoying." I whined.

The right corner of his mouth tugged up into a lopsided smirk before he began leaning in. The closer he came the faster my heart beat was. My body refused to move and the the electric energy that sparked between us had my body shivering, aching for his touch.

My eyes fluttered close in anticipation for the kiss that I knew was coming. His warm breath fanned across my lips alerting me that he was mere seconds away from actually kissing me. Just when I expected his lips to be pressed firmly against my own they landed on my forehead before pulling away just as Alistair came out the bathroom.

I stood in the middle of the floor staring at Levi as he walked back over to my bed and began folding my clothes again. My eyes were now open and I just didn't know what to say as Alistair walked past me and into my closet.

"Did you finish folding all your things?" He questioned poking his head out the door.

"No I think he got distracted a little bit." Levi laughed.

"What? With what?" Alistair asked as he stepped out the closet and walked to the bed where he teleported another stack of clothing from my room.

"Well...um...things." Levi laughed as he continued to fold random things I had tossed on my bed.

"Levi? What aren't you telling me?" Alistair questioned as one of his eyebrows rose up.

Levi shrugged his shoulders without saying anything else to Alistair who sighed shaking his head and walked over to where Levi was standing. Levi spun around feeling Alistair's presence behind him but before he could say anything Alistair reached out his hand and grabbed the side of Levi's neck with his thumb resting on his lips.

"Shhh..." Alistair whispered as a soft purple glow emitted from his palm.

Levi's eyes glazed over as he stared forward without saying anything. The light snaked out from Alistair's palm and crawled up Levi's neck and across his face. Alistair closed his eyes and silenced followed as I watched the two of them.

"Now tell me what you haven't been telling me." Alistair cooed.

"Tae has feelings for us both but he doesn't know how to handle them. I don't know if I'm making things any better by teasing him the way I do but it can't be helped because he's so cute." Levi replied in a zombie like state.

My eyes bugged as I listened to him speak. As soon as he was done Alistair removed his hand slowly and the glazed look in Levi's eyes disappeared and his vibrant golden eyes returned. He looked at me then at Alistair then back to me. It seemed that he realized what happened and instantly he let out a loud whine.

"Did he do the thing again?" He questioned me pointing to Alistair.

"I don't know what the thing is..." I replied quietly trying not to draw too much attention to myself.

"Where he gets me to speak my mind? Like a truth spell or whatever?" Levi questioned again.

Alistair turned around completely ignoring Levi as he whined and grumbled about being tricked again. His beautiful eyes stared back into my own as a smile widened across his face. He took a step towards me and I took a step back.

"What? I hope you're not running away from me now." He teased.

"No...I'm just going to make sure I have everything." I lied as I maneuvered around him and made my way out the room.

It was sure going to be interesting with these two around but I can't say that I minded. Both of them were delicious eye candy and I already felt more attached to them then I have been anyone else in my life. I decided that my life with them would be ten times better than my life without them so I wasn't going to fight what was going on, I'd just go with the flow and see where it took me.
