Ch. 5 Belly of the Beast

3rd pov

Beacon

Team RWBY was waiting to get done with their classes to go and hatch their plan to stop the crime syndicate in Vale, But unbeknownst to either of them y/n had a very similar plan of his own. The plans where simple Ruby and Weiss would go to the C.C.T to cheek if there had been any dust robberies or inconsistencies, Yang was going to ask Junior some questions, but since his arrest was made public this morning she instead was going to follow some trucks containing dust crystals, while Blake would go to the warehouse to attend a White Fang meeting, which where Spider-Man would be heading as well. Y/n had his suit and web-shooters in his backpack ready to go, but now he just needed a good excuse to enplane to team RWBY, and Vise Versa.

They were taking chemistry class with Dr. Octavius. This was y/n's favorite subject because it allowed him to make web fluid under the radar since everyone was working with beakers and chemicals. So it was not hard for y/n to do the project that Octavius assigned them to do and work on web fluid and make it look inconspicuous.

Octavius: So class how is completing the stable nitroglycerin going.

Jaune: Were trying to go as fast as we can.

Octavius: No take your time, trust me this is a project you don't want to rush.

y/n already finished the nitroglycerin, but he did not want to tell Otto until he was not done making his new batch of web fluid.

while his students worked on his assignment Otto was reminiscing the past.

Otto was a prodigy in Atlas, he was always smarter than any of his peers and most of his teachers, however, he was not the best fighter so Ironwood kicked him out saying that he did not belong in a hunter school. Otto insisted that he was inventing something that could put him above the rest if he could just get the money, but alas it did not give him any favors with Ironwood.

y/n: Done, Doctor Octavius.

He said this as he held up the tube with one hand and zipping up his backpack containing the new web fluid with the other.

The whole class went silent and looked at him.

Octavius: Hmmm bring it here Mr. l/n.

y/n brought the tube to Otto who looks at it closely and nodded his head in approval.

Octavius: Very impressive l/n, I see a lot of myself in you.

He patted him on the back then the bell rang

Octavius: OK class that's enough for today you can pick up where you left off tomorrow.

Team RWBY was packing their stuff.

Ruby: How the hell did he do that, this is so hard.

Weiss: Come on RWBY it's not THAT hard

Ruby: We could not get past the first step Weiss.

y/n: Hey I got to go to work so I will be back late, is that alright

Ruby: Oh that's fine take as long as you need OK,

y/n Great thank you

They both walk-in separate directions.

y/n: Well that was easy

Ruby: Well that was easy

Timeskip one hour

y/n pov

I am swinging across the city to go to the warehouse, maybe I can take them by surprise and find out who Fancy Hat is working for, and why he would need so much dust there are too many possibilities to say for sure, I need to narrow the list. I arrive at the where house roof

y/n: Alright this is the place

I quietly take the vent off the wall and enter. As I crawl through I can hear muffled noises, then I get to an opening where I can see a floor being cleared of boxes by white fang members,

Roman: Come up hurry up we have people do address, get that thing out of its container

White Fang Solider: Sir a truck just arrived with another shipment of dust crystals,

Roman: Well why are you talking to me let them in

Ahhh there he is Mr. Fancy Hat himself, and it looks like the faction meeting has not started yet if I am quick I can take them all out before then. The truck with explosive dust crystals pulls up I continue through the air vent until I see an opening that is behind some large shipping containers, I carefully climb out and stick to the side of one shipping container and peak over it,

White Fang soldier: Sir will this be enough for the job.

Roman: It should be more than enough, this should be our last shipment for a while, and we can't have any more complications, so when the meeting starts if anything goes wrong you need to get as many containers as you can onto the trucks and go back to base in the southeast of Vale.

Southeast vale that narrows down the search quite a bit, gonna have to look into that later.

y/n: (whisper) OK a Dozen White Fang soldiers, a shipment full of explosives, Fancy Hat, and a small girl with an umbrella and crazy hair, oh she must be the one Junior told me about, alright I can do this.

3rd pov

White Fang Lieutenant: Hey are you going to get that container open or what.

the container was secured me a keypad and they there trying to hack it open

White Fang Soldier: Where trying sir it's a little harder than it looks

The Lieutenant gets angry and walks toward Roman and Neo

Roman: So are we going to have the Paladin out in time.

White Fang Lieutenant: Were working on it Atlas did not want anyone getting in there

Roman: Well can you hurry up I want to make a good first impression

y/n jumps from the storage container and onto the stage

Everyone looks at y/n complete shock

y/n: Yeah sorry The Bad guy nefarious plan meeting is in the where-house next door is the place where the kitchen appliance showcase is going to be so if you can just move that would be much appreciated.

Roman: Spider-Man I wondered when we would meet.

y/n: You were not exactly hard to find, I mean you dress like that, and you don't exactly keep a low profile

Roman looks Irriteded

Roman: Well I can say that I am glad you're here, you have been a thorn in my side for too long,

He looks at the White Fang,

Roman: Take care of him

20 minutes ago

Yang pov

I can't believe that Junior's in prison, getting him to talk would be easy especially after I wreaked his bar, and his men, now I have to follow this stupid tuck, filled with explosive crystals and it might be driven by a White Fang more solid but has not been anywhere that is incriminating. I and Neptune have been following it for 40 minutes, and the only stop it's made was to get fast food.

Yang: ugg how long does it take to get to your evil layer!

Neptune: Maybe they just got lost.

Yang: You want to give them directions

I was starting to get annoyed of Neptune's constant backchat

The truck turned on to a warehouse district, and I follow him from a distance on my bike Bumblebee.

Yang: Hey maybe he needs to be reminded 'were' he's going

Neptune just sighed as I said this, I thought it was good, then I see the truck pull up to warehouse 17B, I go and hid bumble bee behind warehouse 4A,

Yang: We should walk from here,

we walk toward 17B and peek through the window to see if this was the place and it was, Roman was there and so where the White Fang, I pull out my scroll and send a call the rest of the gang, on a group chat

Yang: (Whispers): Hey, I found bad guys hideout, it's in warehouse 17B in the industrial district. Me and Neptune are going in come join us when you can

Ruby: OK Will be there in 5 minutes

Weiss: So Will I

Blake: Me and Sunn are close to you right now we should be there in under 2 minutes.

Yang: OK See you then

Neptune: Shouldn't we wait for back up

Yang: Thats what your here for

I go to the side wall and ready my gauntlets

Yang: Alright stand back

Neptune: Wait your going to punch through the wall?

Yang: Uh yeah

Neptune: Why don't we use the door

Yang: Because this is more fun

y/n pov

Roman: Take care of him

White Fang Lieutenant: With pleasure sir

The Big guy whips out what looks like a chainsaw sword.and I

BOOM

I am taking back by this explosion, I used my arms to protect my head from any debre, I put them down and look to see a hole in the wall and what looks like a man and a wom...YANG!

Yang: Hey guys my friend and I were just in the neighborhood and we noticed some shady dealing going on.

Sunn: So we decided to put a stop to it.

I look up and see Sunn and Blake jump from the skylight

Yang: Yeah so we're gonna kick your..but

Yang noticed me and got a very excited look on her face

Yang: Oh my god guys look its Spider-Man

Sunn/Neptune: Wait are you, serious.

Sunn: Oh wow I never thought that I would ever see him in person

Neptune: Me neither

All three of them waved, while Blake just smiled, but I wasn't mad that what I expected, I would be scared IF she waved at me.

Yang: I am a huge fan

y/n: Aww I'm flattered

I try and play it cool and change my voice they wouldn't recognize me.

Roman: Ok great so everyone gets to done exchanging pleasantries, ok then can we PLEASE get back to fighting.

y/n: Whatever you say, Mr. Fancy Hat

I spin a web at the ceiling and swing then kick the chainsaw guy into Roman then I web them both on top of each other.

y/n: Who's next?

3rd pov

With Chainsaw and Roman down, Neo ran to the container holding the paladin, while the rest of the White Fang grunts went to attack everyone else,

Spider-Man jump spin kicked, one punched another, when through one against the wall with his web.

Yang punched three of them out cold in seconds

Blake and Sunn took out five of them together, while Neptune shocked two of them unconscious.

Sunn: That was easier than I thought it would be.

Neptune: Don't jinx us

Then a loud thud came from a crate, then its doors flew across the room

y/n: What the...

Then they all see Th Altlesian Paladin Piloted by Neo,

y/n: That is a big problem

Yang: Good one

y/n: Thanks (scared shriveled high voice)

Ruby and Weiss were running on the sidewalk by Juniors old bar, trying to get to the location that Yang told them about but then they saw Neptune and Sunn running towards them,

Ruby: Sunn, Neptune what are you doing here, Neptune was screaming as he ran past them

Sunn: RUNNNNnnnnnnnnnn

They looked confused then they saw Blake and Yang being chased by the giant robot Ruby saw being showcased earlier. And as soon as they saw this Weiss and Ruby bolted.

The Giant Behemoth has chased them onto a highway, as they tried to fight it off,

Ruby: What happened there Yang

Yang: I don't know it all happened so fast, but Spider-Man's here

Ruby: What

She looks to the Paladins back and sees a web stretching on a horizontal 180-degree angle and Spider-Man was hanging off the back of it trying to climb towards the Paladin

y/n: Keep it busy I will see what I can do

Neptune: What are you going to do from there shut it down

Spider-Man climbs towards the paladin and sticks to it.

y/n: Well Atlas has a one-track mind when it comes to design, so all their circuitry on all their bots are in the same location.

He removes a panel on its back

y/n: I can't disable it from here but the gyroscope on the other hand...

he puts his fist through the circuitry, and pulls out the Paladins gyroscope,

y/n: ...that I can mess with

The paladin stops for a minute and then starts rapidly spinning its top half. Y/n was barely hanging on

y/n: Woahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Ruby: Are you ok

y/n: This is why I never ride the spinning rides!

The Robot spins faster that it throws off Spider-Man, hits Sunn, and Neptune with one of its spinning guns taking them out of the fight, and then it lands on the ground under the overpasses

y/n: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

y/n screamed until he is slammed into a suspension pillar holding an overpass, he hit it hard that it knocked him out cold and some degree fall on him

y/n pov

y/n: Negh what ah what happened

I notice some degree on me and I move it off

y/n: Thank god my suit can take the impact I can't imagine trying to mend this every time I am in a scrap.

I look over and see that giant robot and realize the backup gyroscope must have kicked in by this point, then it starts walking towards Yang who hair seems to be glowing, what is that her semblance, I never really saw her use it, I saw the rest of the team but not hers.

I watch in awe as the metal Goliath goes to punch her but then she stops it with her hands and punches the arm into pieces.

y/n: OK I don't really know what her semblance it but it is awesome.

I run towards them and the machine kicks yang, then I notice it is missing both arms, I take this as an opportunity. I quickly use my web-shooters to web its feet in place and then spin two webs from each of my hand at its upper torso to keep it still,

The girls look at me

y/n: Go *ngh* take, take it out I can hold it.

Ruby: Bumble Bee!

Blake then throws her 'gun cable' towards Yang and she gains some momentum by running and with her gauntlets to get enough force to punch that robot to pieces,

Y/n: Looks like your head to the scrapyard, or the Atlas super fast recycle machine.

When Yang blows it up, the tiny girl with the umbrella climbs out of the rubble, smiles, and just finished.

The team looked annoyed, but then their eyes made their way towards me, and I was catching my breath.

y/n: Are you *pant* alright

Then suddenly it looked as if Ruby turned into a tinny anime character

Ruby: Ohh..my god your soo cool so coolly, how do you spin webs, are you a Faunus, why the suit, and why the red, white, and blue,

Weiss: Ruby give the man some space,

Ruby: Oh right sorry hehe nice to meet you uh Mr. Spider-Man

I make an effort to disguise my voice

y/n: It's just Spider-Man or Spidey, and it is a pleasure to meet all of you as well

y/n: You did a pretty good job, handling that bot

Yang: Oh it was nothing

she seemed a bit embarrassed

Ruby: She is a huge fan of yours.

Yang: RUBY!

y/n: Oh really

Yang: Well..yah

y/n: Well I can say without a doubt I am now your biggest fan.

Yang's face light up

y/n: What you did to that bot was incredible.

Yang: Thanks, hey can I get a selfie

Ruby: Me too!!!

I laugh at this. I am now sure, that I found somewhere I belong, as y/n l/n and Spider-Man

y/n: Yeah I will give everyone a selfie, and you can just treat me like any other guy.

I take a selfie with all of them and we all get a copy then I am about to leave.

y/n: Wait before you do something like this again

Blake: Let me guess it's too dangerous and we should not do this anymore.

y/n: No you girls kick ass keep doing what you're doing, but be careful I am sure that there are people who would not want to see you hurt.

They all nod

Ruby: So your OK with us doing the stuff you do

y/n: Yeah of course whatever it takes to make the world better, I will you girls around, let me know if you want to fight bad guys or to just chill I am down with either option.

I give the see yeah sign and I leave. I feel like I bonded with them more even if they don't know It

He is not what I expected he is actually pretty funny, but I would never tell anyone that or it will make me look bad I have a refined sense of humor

It's good to see someone wear a mask to inspire hope instead of fear
