Ch. 22 Wrath of Electro Pt.2

The next morning after Electro's attack.

Y/n's Apartment/Spidey Base

Y/n is still asleep on his bed in his torn up Spidey suit.  Then when sunlight shines through his window he starts to get up.

y/n: *groggy* Uh Is this reminded me of that time when I got my wisdom teeth pulled, but now I don't have Aunt May to get me an ice-cream reward.

He then sits up on the bed and takes his mask off and looks it over.

y/n: The left eye lens is cracked, the spidey phone in my mask, is burned out, actually all the tech in my suit looks busted, *sigh* Yep this will take a little while to repair. But first I should probably transfer my scroll info from the cloud and see if I missed calls.

He then changes into his regular clothes and puts his Spidey suit on his workbench, then goes to gets his information from the cloud onto his Uncle Bens scroll, he kept just in case. It was an older model but it would work just fine.

After a few minutes, he gets all his info on his new/old scroll, except his old phone numbers, forms both his cell and Spidey-Phone.

y/n: OK let's see if I.....oh man.

y/n: Blake 12 missed calls, Weiss 8 missed calls, Jaune 15 missed calls, Pyrrah 9 missed calls, Nora 6 missed calls, and Ren 4 missed calls.

y/n: OH boy, I am not looking forward to calling them all back.

He first dials Blake.

*Ring* *Ring*

Blake: What do you want!?

y/n: Uhh....Blake, it's me y/n.

Blake: Oh my god are you alright to you we saw what happened we thought something happened to you!

y/n: Yeah things got a little crazy and Electos shockwaves burned out my phone, and I had to get a new one, well I got an old one but it is new to me.

Blake: I am glad your OK, but where were you last night, you did not come back to the dorm.

y/n: I was tired and so I just decided to stay in my apartment.

Blake: You still have that?

y/n: Yeah not the most glamorous place, *looks at workbench* but it has its uses.

Blake: Oh you ever bring Yang there?

y/n: *Confused* Uh, Nooooooo, why would I bring her here? This place barely has enough room for me to walk around in let alone two.

Blake: Sorry I just got done reading and so I am in that state of mind at the moment.

y/n: What do you read exactly?

Blake: Ninjas of Love.

y/n: Wait WHAT, NO We....we have not done THAT yet!

Blake: Shame I know she wants to.

y/n: Iumahumaahhhhhhhh.

Blake: *giggles* I can see why she likes you,  Anyway want to talk about something else.

y/n:...Yes, please.

Blake: You should probably call the others that tried to get a hold of you.

y/n: Yeah I am not looking forward to that.

Blake: I can imagine, sorry.

y/n: Eh its fine I have to do it sooner or later *sigh*

Blake: Hey you want to have some tea and or coffee tomorrow?

y/n: Yeah that sounds nice thanks, Blake.

Blake: No problem, now you should probably call the others before they get too worried.

After a bunch of worrying calls, while repairing his suit, he then calls the last person on his list being Jaune.

Jaune: Hello?

y/n: Hey Jaune.

Jaune: Y/n! Are you alright, I saw the news that Electro guy kinda kicked your butt yesterday.

y/n: Well...I don't know if I would call it a 'butt kicking' per se the...the  fight kind of went back and forth you know. I had him on the ropes a few times.

Jaune: Yeaaaaah,  I just saw the end of the fight and it looked liked he beat you up pretty badly.

y/n: Hey buddy just smile and nod next time OK?

Jaune: Yeah sorry...So are you going to track him down and have a rematch?

y/n: I wish I could but I am in no situation to fight him, but my suit is torn up, and both my web-shooters are destroyed, it's going to take a while to repair, and I need to add more rubber insulation to my suit for it to absorb more of Electros attack.

Jaune: You think that will work?

y/n: Pretty sure, I might be some gloves just in case. I just hope that Electro stays quiet until I can get this repaired.

Jaune: Hey if you want team JNPR can help you if he shows up again.

y/n: I don't know Jaune, I know you guy can handle yourselves but, this guy is a crazy electric generating maniac, it is not your typical enemy that they teach you to fight in school

Jaune: Maybe but we have an ace up our hole, Nora.

y/n: Nora?  I feel like I am missing some context buddy.

Jaune: Basically Nora gets stronger when she absorbs lightning.

y/n: Huh, yeah that might actually kinda work, good idea Jaune.

Jaune: Thanks, but still we don't know where he is or when he is going to show up.

y/n: I might have a way around that actually, a while ago I hacked the CCT Network to keep better tabs on the city, and to keep other people out of the system.

Jaune: OK but how will that help us now?

y/n: I can use that to track high levels of static electricity in the air, to pinpoint his approximate position, and we can catch him by surprise.

Jaune: That sounds good so what should we do, I can't exactly tell the others we are going to town to help Spider-Man catch Electro because that would give away who you are.

y/n: hm, give me a couple of hours to make some repairs, then  just take them out for some ice cream or something and I will find you guys,  Pyrrah has already meet Spider-Man, and she is friendly enough to say hello, we will chat for a bit then I will mention I am hunting Electro, and you Subltey bring up Nora's semblance and offer to help then we can bring him in together, how does that sound.

Jaune: Sounds good man see you in a bit bye.

y/n: Bye.

He hangs up and starts to work on his suit.

y/n: *sigh* I wonder how Ruby and Yang are doing?

Timeskip Downtown Vale

Team JNPR is sitting on a bench eating Ice Cream

Jaune has Vanilla

Pyrrah has Chocolate

Ren has Strawberry

Nora has Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Lemon, Lime, Coffee,  Orange, and Cherry, all on one cone and has already eaten half of it.

Pyrrah: Ice cream was a great idea Jaune! *lick*

Nora: YEAH whats the occasion! *CHOMP*

Jaune: Oh..nothing...I just thought we could spend some time together you know...as a team, I mean outside of classes, and the school itself you know.

Nora: Awwww you really do care!

Ren: Nora that makes no sense, Jaune has always cared about us.

Pyrrah: Yeah, Nora, we all care for each other.

Nora: Oh I know I just wanted to contribute to the conversation.

Ren: * slow blink* *slow blink* Are you serious Nora.

Nora: What,  I need attention or I will soon turn invisible, and cease to exist!

Ren: Nora I told you that is just an urban myth.

Nora: Details! Anyway Jaune and Pyrrah how does it feel being a couple!

Pyrrah: Oh..um, its good Nora.

She holds Jaune hand

Jaune: Yeah Nora, really good.

Nora: WHAT! That's all you got. COME ON GIVE ME DETAILS!!

Pyrrah: Um what kind of details Nora?

Nora: Like how many dates have you gone on, have you gone on any romantic walks, did you make each other heart-shaped pancakes yet, *Deeeeeeeeeep Inhale* Go on movie date nights, run to all the bases, share ice cream...

Pyrrah: NORA! Listen we have done a few of those things you mentioned.

Nora: REALLY?! Which ones!? TELLMETELLMETELLMETELLMETELLMETELLMETELLMETELLMETELLMETELLMETELLME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just as then Spider-Man swings onto a lamp post with his scroll tracking Electro, then jumps down to help an old lady who is looking at a map struggling to find her destination.

Nora:  TELLMETELLMETELLMETELLMETELLME...

Jaune: *Ahem* Hey look, everyone, its Spider-Man.

Then all of team JNPR look to see him helping out people with some smaller issues compared to fighting villains or Grimm but he is glad that he is helping out as many people as he can and being a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Pyrrah: OH! Your right.

She then raises her hand and starts waving.

Pyrrah: Hello!!

Spidey then looks up and waves back and walks over to him.

Spider-Man: Hello *looks to Pyrrah and Jaune* You two holding up OK after that whole Kraven thing.

Pyrrah: Oh yes very much thank you for your help with that.

Spider-Man: Oh I didn't do much, you did all the heavy lifting, you are one hell of a fighter.

Pyrrah: Oh I am thank you, that means a lot coming from you.

Spider-Man: Your welcome, just please remind me to never get on your bad side.

Pyrrah then gestures to her other two teammates.

Pyrrah: Oh this is Ren and Nora.

Ren raises his Ice cream up in a greeting way.

Ren: Its a pleasure.

Nora: hmmmmm, I thought you would be a just a little taller.

Spider-Man: (Oh not again)

Pyrrah: Nora!

Nora: Oh right sorry.

Spider-Man: Oh it's fine.

Jaune: Hey you want to sit with us for a bit.

Spider-Man: Sorry I wish I could, but I am tracking the location of a dangerous supervillain.

Nora: OH! Are you taking the crazy lighting guy, who kicked your but live on VOX News?

Spider-Man: *ahem* Well you did not see the full fight if you did you would see that it was clearly a tie, and take everything you hear from VOX News with a grain of salt, they are not the best source of news information.

Nora: Yeah fair enough.

Nora then gets an idea

Nora: Oh can I help you fight him can I? Please!?

Spider-Man: Well...

Nora: I get stronger whenever I absorb electricity, I can totally be super duper helpful, can I please help please please, please!

Spider-Man: *surprised* Well..if, your leader is alright with it.

Jaune: *surprised* Y..yeah if we can all come with you if that's ok with you guys *looks at Pyrrah and Ren*

Ren: Sure.

Pyrrah: Yes I would like to repay the debt I owe you.

Spider-Man: You don't owe me anything Pyrrah.

Pyrrah: *giggles* You are very kind but I still would like to help however I can if that is alright.

Spider-Man looks at the team and puts his hands on his hips, and nods his head.

Spider-Man: Looks like we got ourselves a superhero team up.

Nora: AWESOME!!

Nora then sprints in a random direction.

Spider-Man: Uh...thats not the right direction.

Pyrrah: Well get her, Nora!

Ren: Nora!

The two of them chase after Nora leaving y/n with Jaune.

Spider-Man: That was easier than I thought it would be.

Jaune: Yeah I  sometimes forget how excitable Nora can be, where is this guy hiding anyway?

Y/n looks at his scroll.

Spider-Man: According to my scroll he is located somewhere in the northeast, a few miles outside the kingdom.

Jaune ponders for a moment then realizes something.

Jaune: Your know the kingdoms hydro-electric power plant is in that general direction, and since he attacked the Oscorp power station, so would the plant be a likely target?

Spider-Man: Yeah that does sound likely, but I still don't know what a guy who seems to produce infinite electricity could possibly want with more, he already incredibly strong, any more could kill him or possibly...*Lenses widen*

Pyrrah, Ren, and Nora come back and see that Spider-Man is standing perfectly still, with wide eyes.

Pyrrah: Hey, we're back.

Nora: Yeah, sorry I got a 'little' carried away.

Ren: A little he says. *sigh* Anyway are we ready to head out?

Jaune: I am what about you Spidey.

Spider-Man: *In thought*...energy.

Jaune: What was that?

Spider-Man: That's what he wants!

Nora: What?

Spider-Man: Oh, Sorry it's a habit *ahem* Electros plan is to absorb more and electricity to become living energy!

Pyrrah: Wait, what! Living energy!?

Nora: That sound so COOL! Oh, I mean bad.

Ren: How do you fight living energy?

Spider-Man: I...we got to get to the plant now!

time skip

Spider-Man and team JNPR go to the perimeter of Vales hydro-electric power plant, which is surrounded by 50 ft. high walls.

The team looks at the high walls with gaping mouths and wide eyes.

Jaune: Why...why did they make the walls so damn tall?

Spider-Man: Uh..proabably to keep out hunters who can jump reeeeeeaaaally high?

Nora: Either that or they're compensating for something.

Spider-Man: *snort, laughs* That is a good one, Nora.

Nora: Thank You! See Ren there are people out there who appreciate comedy.

Ren: Please don't encourage her, anyway whats the plan.

Spider-Man: hrm..*face goes to pondering mode* *snap* Alright we split up take him on at two different fronts, Nora gets charged up, hits Electro really hard with a hammer knocking him out, call the cops, get back to the kingdom and maybe have a celebratory pizza.

Pyrrah: So how do we split the teams.

Spider-Man: Well is there anyone who can get over this wall.

Nora: I can!

Spider-Man: Alright You're with me then, Jaune, Pyrrah, Ren you go and around and try and get in a back way, all big facilities like this have some backdoor that everyone overlooks, it's kinda cliche nowadays.

Jaune: I know right, any way you can count on us Spider-Man, let's go guys.

With that said 3/4 of team JNPR follow Jaune to the opposite end of the facility, with for hunters in training should not take too terribly long.

Spider-Man: We should get going as well.

Nora: WAIT!

Spider-Man: What!?

Nora then suddenly gets all giddy.

Nora: OK I AM SURE YOU NOTICED BUT I AM A HUUUUUUUGE FAN AND YANG AND RUBY WHERE SHOWING OFF THEIR SELFIES THAT THEY TOOK WITH YOU TO US AND I WAS JUST WONDERING IF, IF IF....

Spider-Man: You want a selfie?

Nora: PRETTY PLEASE!!

Spider-Man: Oh you don't need to be nervous, I would be happy to.

Nora: Really thank you!

Nora then holds out the scroll and smiles while spidey kneels down and give a peace sign while giving squinty eyes on his lenses, then Nora takes a picture and puts it away.

Nora: Thanks.

Spider-Man: No problem, *thumbs up*

Nora then turns her hammer into a gun aims it at the ground and fires a shoot wich projects her up into the air to the top and Spider-Man crawls up the wall, as they both reach the top they look around to see the awe-inspiring unmanned electric power plant.

Nora: Woooah.

Spider-Man: You can say that again, no wonder they did not want anyone getting in. *beep *beep*

His scroll goes off so he takes it out and sees that it has pinned down electros position.

Spider-Man: Alright, looks like he is in the main building, let's go.

Nora: Roger!

They both sneak into the main building and as they walk through the corridors they can hear noises and as they explore more of the building they the noises become much more distinct and y/n could tell its Electro,  then as they walk down the main hallway they see a bright light form around the corner and as y/n and Nora turn the corner to the main generator room they can see its electro gathering up all the electricity he can muster.

Electro: OH that's it baby that's it right there.

Spidey then covers his eyes with his right hand and covers Nora's eyes with his left.

Spider-man: OH! EW! Do you and your generator like need some time alone!?

Electro then stops his power up that he miiight be getting a little too much enjoyment out of it.

Electo: Aww Spider-Man, I was hoping we would meet again but this time it is on my home turf.

He then extracts more electricity from the generator to demonstrate the power he can get.

Spider-Man: Well this time I brought some backup.

Electro then notices Nora who grips her hammer and gives Electro a smirk as if to say "I am going to kick your ass."

Electro: Seriously, you brought a date to a supervillain battle?

Nora: Hey, fighting a supervillain sounded like perfect first date material!

Spider-Man: We actually fighting you because Rhino won't return my calls.

They both fist bump for their collaborative joke.

Electro: Oh you think you're funny.

Spider-Man: I don't like to brag but I would say that I am.

Nora: Me too!

Spider-Man: Thanks, Nora.

Electro: *charges his power* Well I will say that the crowd's energy is electric.

He then shoots electricity at the both of them, Nora manages to get hit but y/n, dodges jumping onto the wall.

Spider-Man: That was not bad but, maybe you should lay off the obvious lightning jokes.

Electro: Oh would you please just shut up!

He then shots huge steam of Electricity at the wall causing Spider-Man to run on the wall with a trail of lightning hot on his heels, he then spins a web at him launching him towards Electro kicking him with his two feet and bringing him to the ground.

Spider-Man: Nora!

Nora then gets up and starts to bring the hammer down on Electro, but before her blow can connect Electro catches her hammer and uses his hand to shoot Nora across the room with a massive bolt of electricity.  which shoots her across the room. Spidey then punches him then Electro crabs his arm and sending a current of electricity through his suit but it does not affect him this time.

Electro: What?

Spider-Man: Sorry, that trick is not going to work twice.

Spidey then webs up Electros face causing him to stumble back and then Spidey unleashes a series of quick jabs at him knocking him back against the wall then grabs his electrical harness pulling on it while pushing off his chest with his legs.  Y/n used all the strength he can, and he eventually ripped it off causing a big electrical explosion causing Spidey to get knocked back.

Electro: NO! What have you done!

Spider-Man: I destroyed your only means of producing more Electricity than your semblance can handle, was that not obvious.

Electro then starts zapping around the room hoping to hit Spider-Man but he just keeps dodging by doing flips jumps and web-zippes away.

Electro: Are you even going to even try to attack me!?

Spider-Man: Noooooooo!

Electro: What!

Then all of a sudden Electro gets shot by an ice dust bullet, freezing his left arm. He looks up and sees the rest of team JNPR at the upper entrance to the generator room. Pyrrah reloads as Jaune and Ren Jump down and they slice at Electro with their bladed weapons many times while his arm is still Frozen.  Ren Kicks him over to Jaune, then Jaune bashes him with his shield over to Spider-Man, who proceeds to web him closer, and then punches him senseless multiple times before kicking him up into the air then webbing him back down, Electro is slow to get up but when he does Pyrrah shoots two ice bullets at his legs keeping him in place.

Spider-Man: NORA!

Nora then runs up to Electro with breakneck speed then swings her hammer and hitting him with her with so much force it knocks him through three walls, knocking Electro out cold.  The rest of the team just look through the hole with wide eyes.

Nora: Looks like he has been UNPlUGGED!

They all just look at her in shock for a few seconds, but then Spider-Man slowly starts laughing, which is then followed by Pyrrah, then Jaune, and finally Ren, Not long after that the group just can't laughing do to the Adrenalin rush and Nora's superpower to diffuse the tension so quickly.

Spider-Man: Hahahah..oh you guys are so much fun, we should definitely do this more often!

Pyrrah: Ahaha*snot* That actually sounds lovely!

Jaune: Hehe, yeah we could be a superhero team, with a cool name!

Spider-Man: *Slowly fist bumps the air* Spider-Man and his Amazing friends? Eh?

JNPR: *Groan*

Spider-Man: *disappointed* Oh man.

Ren: *Giggles* We can discuss all this latter but for now we should turn him in and I believed that you said something about a celebratory pizza?

Spider-Man: Yeah let's go, guys, this one is on me, I know this great joint across Simmons Tech support.

And that is exactly what they did, the young heroes eat a humungous pizza from Griffs Pizza, Calzone, and Stromboli. Laughing and talking about past experiences.

Timeskip Otto's secret lab.

Osborn and Otto watch the evening news.

T.V.: The criminal has Been identified as Maxwell Dillon, or Electro as he calls himself, who has been apprehended today by a first-year beacon team with help from the Spider-Man.

Osborn then turns off the T.V.

Osborn: Otto

Otto: Yes Norman?

Osborn: Add him to the list.

Otto: Yes sir.

Otto then pulls out a manifest and puts down his name. The manifest reads as such:
