Ch. 14 A Day Out

y/n pov

I fought my girlfriend's mom!? Oh, man, do I tell Yang?  Would she want to know, I mean she and her team just took down Trochwick they do deserve some time off. But she has not seen her mother in years, it might give her some comfort to know she is still out there.  On the other hand, it might do the opposite knowing her mother was in town and didn't stop to say hi. Damn it, I was kinda hoping that my life as y/n l/n would not conflict with my life as Spider-Man, yeah...I might have been way too optimistic.

*The song Faithfully starts playing on his scroll*

y/n: Speak of the devil.  *Answers scroll* Hey Yang.

Yang: Hey y/n, so that was pretty badass right?

y/n: Yeah you and the rest of team RWBY, were amazing!

Yang: Thanks but it was your plan.

y/n: I highly doubt that it would have worked without you girls, a plan only works if there are good people too carry out the plan. OK, that sounded cooler in my head but you get the idea.

Yang: *Giggles* Yeah I got it, so what are you doing now handsome.

y/n: Well I am looking into who Fancy Hats boss or bosses are, as well as who might have sabotaged the train.

Yang: Wait, you're still working after that badass boss battle.

Well maybe more like mini-boss battle.

y/n: Well I just had a thought that the White Fang may not be the biggest threat to Vale, it is true what they say the city never sleeps.

Yang: Yeah but you do babe, you are doing great work out in the city but you also need to take time to yourself from time to time, and maybe we can have a mini celebration just the two of us.

Yeah, she has a good point, maybe I started this working again to fast, well I technically did not stop working in between Moutain Glenn and now but that's beside the point.  Torchwick may have been a lacky but he was a pretty important one.   And spending more time with Yang sound nice, doing anything with her sound nice.

y/n: What did you have in mind exactly.

Yang: Well I have a LOT of things on my mind. *flirty* *giggles*

She really doesn't hold back with the flirting, it does make me nervous but it is one of the things I like about her.

Yang: But for now I was thinking about doing that 'Spider' date we talked about.

y/n: You got it, babe, what time?

Yang: How about tomorrow morning, we where the first ones to finish our mission so the school should be mostly deserted.

That's right we can have the whole day to our selves, and*smiles*that gives me an idea of what we can do.

y/n: OK, want to meet at in Vale?

Yang: OK were at?

y/n: Go to the center of town and I will text you the location.

Yang: Oh OK *flirty* See you there.

y/n: See you there, bye.

Time Skip The Next Day Center of Vale city

Yang Pov

OK, I am in the center of town but I have been looking for 5 minutes but don't see y/n anywhere. And I can't help but wonder if he wants to show me his abilities then why did he want to meet in the center of Vale?

*Bzzz Bzzz*

My scroll goes off as I get a text from y/n, and I pull it out to read it.

y/n: Hey Yang!

"You see the tall building to your right, I left a back door open and then there is a flight of stairs that lead to the roof, and I know it might be a lot of stairs but trust me it will be worth me." :)

I look at the building and let out a deep sigh.  I know that we train on a regular basis but I never liked the stairs they are just so slow and boring,

After one long boring stair climb exercise.

3rd pov

y/n is perched on the edge of the roof overlooking the city in his spider suit.

Yang: Am I interrupting? *flirty*

y/n: *Bad growly voice* NO I am just brooding up where pondering the dilemma that I may be the Hero this city deserves but not the one it needs right now.

Yang: pfffffffft  Hahahahaha! Oh my god, that was one good impression.

y/n turns around

y/n: Thanks.

Yang: So you going to tell me what being Spider-Man is like.

y/n: In a little while, first I thought I would show you.  put your arms around my back we are going web-slinging!

Yang: Wait seriously!

y/n: Yeah, I thought you might like it.

Yang: Hell Yeah I would!

She immediately hugs him from behind locking her arms across his chest. But y/n could tell she was nervous because they were so high up.

But he holds on to her arm and says.

y/n: Don't worry I got you.

She nods and tightens her grip.

y/n: OK let's *jumps* Gooooooo!!!!!

He was swang diving for a minute but then spun a web to the next building and flew upwards.

A smile grew across Yangs face as the wind blew her hair back.

Yang: Yahoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

y/n does some more swinging and tricks but not to extream to get Yang motion sick.

Yang: THIS IS AMAZING!!

y/n: I know right!!

He then runs on the side of a building then wall jumps between the sides of nearby buildings, then runs up the last building and jumps off then spins a web at the next building and he does this in one quick motion.

They spend the rest of the morning just swinging across the city y/n could not see this but Yang had the biggest smile on her face the entire time, and when it was time for lunch he took her to the top of the CCT tower where there was a picnic basket full of food waiting.

y/n takes his mask off.

y/n: So what did you think!?

Yang: That WAS AMAZING!!! OH, MY GODS!!!

y/n: Hehe, I am glad you liked it.

Yang: LIKED IT!? I LOVED IT! THAT WAS BETTER THAN SEX! *ahem* Not that I would now....yet. *Wink*

y/n's whole face was flushing after she said that, but Yang just giggles and turns her attention toward the basket.

Yang: So Watcha get handsome?

y/n spins a web and yanks the picknick basket to his arms.

y/n: Well I could not afford anywhere to fancy...at first, but this old man I help saved a few weeks ago and it turns out he runs a high-class noodle shop and gave me two free meal tickets.

Yang: Wait, high-class noodle shop *Gasp* do you mean?

y/n: Yep!

He opens up the basket releasing a massive amount of steam, but when the steam cleared, it revealed the most delicious looking big bowls of noodles that you have ever seen.

y/n: Stans Noodles! Best noodles in the four kingdoms.

Yang grabs a bowel and two chopsticks you are amazing.

y/n: *blushes* Well I don't know about Amazing.

Yang: Well how about Spectacular, Sensational, Outstanding!

y/n: Oh, stop. let's eat it's starting to get cold.

They Eat and make funny banter, y/n was contemplating if he should tell Yang that he saw her mom, but she was just having such a good time that he was decided that it was not the right time.

Yang: So, *sluuuuuurp* climbing up walls how do you do that, is it part of your semblance?

y/n: Nope. *Slurp* They are powers I got by being bitten by a genetically altered spider. Along with increased strength, speed, agility, and even increased my reflexes and reaction time so that alone is like having a semblance that is twice as powerful.

Yang: Hacks, I call Hacks.

y/n: Says a woman who can take damage from an Atlas Paladin and deliver it back twice as hard.

Yang: *rolls eyes* So what about the web shooting did the spider give you that power too.

y/n: Nope I made that myself....wanna see?

Yang: Do you really need to ask!?

He takes off one of his web shooters and scoots right next to her so their shoulders are touching, and he shows her how the web shooters work.

y/n: OK this container is where the web-fluid is stored and you put it on the wrist like this *click* and press this button with these two fingers, and *thwip* Whala!

Yang: Wow, that is super cool, you might actually be a little bit cooler than me, just a little.

y/n: hehe I don't think that is physically possible.

Yang: Yeah your probably right.

She puts her hand on his lap which makes him sweaty.  then she looks in his eyes and they start a makeout session, and Yang was putting her hands down his back but, they were both interrupted by an explosion, down the street.

y/n: OH sorry I better go and see if anyone needs help.

Yang was a bit bumed out that they could not go further but she understood that it was important.

Yang: Yeah I get it, go do your thing hero.

y/n: To be continued?

Yang: *wink* Toadally!

He smiles before putting his mask back on then swings off to where he saw the explosion.
