197. Sleepiness

While Qi Le’an was at the door, Wei Changfeng was about to go out to buy food. When he saw Qi Le’an, Wei Changfeng suddenly asked, “Why are you back?”

Qi Le’an threw his bag on the sofa and wrapped his hands around Wei Sama’s neck. He giggled, “I found that I don’t have the mood to study in the library.”

When Wei Changfeng heard the voice, he looked up. The full version of this advertisement was five minutes and the short version of it was only 30 seconds. However, the 30 seconds was enough to tell a story clearly.

This was probably the pretense of a master dirctor, and his mastery of the story was incomparable.

“Deng Jie was able to find Amco to shoot this commercial… This is too unexpected,” Qi Le’an told Wei Changfeng about Deng Jie over the phone and Wei Changfeng knew about it.

“The most amazing thing is that Amco even agreed!” Qi Le’an said, “We have to ask them for a big prize when they get married!”

Wei Changfeng couldn’t help but ask, “Do you dare ask Deng Jie for a prize?”

Qi Le’an’s eyes widened. Wei Sama was telling the truth indeed!

After Wei Sama finished his meal, he couldn’t help but playing with Qi Le’an in the bed again.

At night, the two of them were lying in bed with open windows. The evening breeze blew up the white curtain and there were stars shining outside.

Qi Le’an frowned and said, “I need to hand in Professor John a paper in mid-May. I should be able to get all my credits in early June.”

Wei Changfeng trusted Qi Le’an’s ability and said, “Definitely you will. What are you going to do in June?”

Qi Le’an held Wei Changfeng’s arm and asked, “What about Wei Sama? How long does your shooting take? ”

Wei Changfeng thought about his work progress and said, “I should be able to finish the shooting in two months. The postproduction will take about half a year to a year, but I’m not in charge of it. Do you want to go out for fun in June?”

Qi Le’an shook his head and fell silent.

The post-editing of “Lala Land” was completed and the leading actors needed to dub for the movie. Damien also told Qi Le’an that the movie would be released in July and would be sent to the Oscar in the second half of the year.

Hearing that, Qi Le’an couldn’t help but feel extremely excited. He just thought that Damien’s work would definitely be successful!

“Amco said he hasn’t filmed for a year.” Qi Le’an counted for Wei Changfeng and said, “Director Spear’s movie hasn’t finished yet. This year, Damien has no competitors.”

Wei Changfeng couldn’t help but smile, “The movie is not finished yet and you’re starting to think about winning the award. What if there will be some unexpected competitors?”

Wei Changfeng was teasing with Qi Le’an, but Qi Le’an nodded and said, “That’s right… but no matter what, I still believe we’ll win the award!”

Emma looked back and said in surprise, “An! What a coincidence! Wow! This is Fynn right?”

The two got out of the car and Wei Changfeng politely nodded and said, “Hello, I’m Fynn.”

Emma shook her hand with Wei Changfeng and said, “Hello! I heard An said that you cook particularly well!”

Wei Changfeng couldn’t help but smile. He asked then, “Are you busy after the dubbing this weekend? Come to my home and eat together.”

Emma’s eyes lit up and she nodded wildly. “Great! I’d love to!”

The assistant next to her reminded, “…You have a party to attend then.”

“That won’t bother it!” Emma waved her hands and said, “The party is at eight tomorrow. An and I can dub in a fast speed! We might finish the dubbing today!”

Then she blinked and asked Qi Le’an, “Right?”

Qi Le’an also wanted to finish the dubbing really fast, so he said, “Yes! We will finish it very fast!”

The assistant couldn’t help but murmured, “Your belly will bulge after you finish the meal. How are you going to wear a dress?”

Emma did not know what to say.

Wei Changfeng smiled gently at the side, “How about… If you guys can finish it fast, let’s eat lunch together tomorrow? Then you can go to the evening party.”

Emma clapped and said, “Okay! Deal!”

The Assistant thought about it and said, “Fine…”

Wei Changfeng nodded and said, “Then I will prepare when I go back today.”

Emma looked like she was about to drool.

A few minutes later, Damien’s call came. Emma looked at her phone with a headache and said to her assistant, “Why didn’t he call you?”

Qi Le’an didn’t know whether to pick it up or not. He looked at Wei Changfeng.

“Hurry and go upstairs,” Wei Changfeng smiled at them, “See you tomorrow.”

Emma said happily, “See you tomorrow! We must finish dubbing today! Damien cannot stop us!”

Qi Le’an looked at Wei Changfeng and Wei Sama blinked at him.

When he was going upstairs with Emma, Qi Le’an had been feeling sweet. Emma leaned over to Qi Le’an and whispered, “You don’t want to be dubbing for two days, do you?”

Qi Le’an was surprised at first, then he smiled. “Actually, you’re right…”

“I saw him blinking at you! Your boyfriend treats you well! He even thought of a way to help suspend the work!”
