Chapter 26 - Understand?

"I'm stressed out." I said to Deandre.

"You don't need to worry about your family, they're safe. You should worry about Crystal." He said.

"She's safe with her dad. You don't need to worry about her."

"We're in New York, can you at least check on her?" Deandre said and I sighed.

"She will be fine, okay?" When I said that, my phone rang. I took it out from my pocket and it's Nate?

"Hello." I answered.

"There's an attack in the Lemiere's house. Where are you? We're going there!" Nate said and I told him my address right away. I kept asking about Crystal's condition again and again and Nate kept telling me that she's okay.

I walked around the room waiting for them to arrive and Deandre just kept looking at me laughing. My guards signaling me that the Lemiere's are coming and I gestured them to open the gate. They got inside and it's only Nicholas and Matthew Lemiere who came out from the car.

"Who are you expecting? My daughter?" Nicholas asked.

"Honestly yes." I said and he glared at me. I gestured them both to come into my base.

"I heard that your house was attacked. Is that right?"

"Yes. Now we need to deal with Kristopher for real." Nicholas answered.

"Kristopher and my dad have a business relationship around 10 years ago. He was an ex-soldier and he lost his arm and leg in the war. You know that?" Matthew said.

"I know about it but we never know why we can't touch or mess with the 7 Gold Lifes."

"Because I was the one who help him to buy that arm and leg." Nicholas said and I turned to him.

"So that's why he respects you that much.. That arm and leg killed a lot of people." I said and Nicholas sat down on the chair.

"Never thought he will betray me like this. He really wants Crystal."

"It's all my fault. I was selfish because I want her. I regret everything now." I said as I looked at the ground.

"I will never let you be with my daughter." He said and I nodded.

"I know."

"Let's get started, I just want to kill Kristopher all ready." Matthew said and that's when Deandre got up from his seat. He gave Nicholas and Matthew the blue print of Kristopher's base in Russia.

"It's better luring him out then we breaking in but here's the blue print of the base." I said.

"Call Morris, Archer and Daniel." Nicholas said to Matthew and he nodded. We all started to think several plans to kill Kristopher and I bet he's preparing to kill me too.

I announced to my guards that the 7 Gold Lifes car will come and let them open the door. Suddenly the door bursted open revealing Crystal, Daniel, Morris and Archer.

"What are you doing here?" Nicholas bursted angrily at Crystal. My eyes stucked on her and she ran to me. She slipped her arms around my hips hugging me tightly.

"You asshole!" She smacked my back hard hitting me right on the spot where Kristopher hit me.

"Crystal.. don't hit him there." Deandre said and ignored all my glaring. Crystal stopped immediately and looked up to me in panic.

"What what?"

"Don't even think about touching him.. in front of me, Crystal Lemiere." Nicholas said and she turned to him glaring.

"Mom was the one who let me here." She said and Nicholas took out his phone calling his wife immediately.

"Chloe.. what the- okay fine. Damn it!" He closed the phone immediately. Crystal took my hand and dragged me to the room beside the meeting room. She was going to close the door but Nicholas and Matthew stopped her.

"What are you doing?" Matthew asked her.

"I'm not going anywhere.. I need to talk to him." She said coldly to her dad and her brother. She closed the door and locked it.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Open up your shirt." She gestured as she looked around the room. Her eyes landed on something and she walked towards it.

"Crystal, what ar-"

"Just open your shirt!" She hissed and I found myself unbuttoning my shirt. I threw my shirt to the ground and she gasped seeing all the bruises on my body.

"What happen?"

"Kristopher." I answered and I flinched when she touch my body. I closed my eyes and got my breath hitch to feel her touch.

"Why didn't you fight back?"

"I will be dead if I fight him back." I said and we both heard Nicholas knocking on the door. Crystal opened the door and let her dad in. Nicholas' eyes widen to see the bruises on my body.

"Kristopher did this to him and you still think he's the bad guy?" Crystal asked coldly to her dad.

"What did he hit you with?" Nicholas asked as he turned around to see the bruises on my back.

"Iron maybe.. it's a thick stick." Crystal pushed Nicholas out and closed the door again. She locked it and she stood in front of me.

"I was worried. So worried about you." She looked straight to my eyes and I looked away. She closed the gap between us and put her hands on my chest. She trailed her index finger on the bruises.

"My heart hurts.. seeing you like this." She said and I looked up to the ceiling. She forced me to see on the table. She opened the medical kit and started to treat my bruises and scratches on my body and face. We never stopped looking at each other and none of us were dared to talk first.

"If you're still alive after everything's done.. we need to talk." She said.

"I don't want to promise that." I said and she put her hand on my cheek caressing it.

"If you run away and dare to date another woman.. or look at another woman.. I will be the one who kill them. I will have no mercy on them. You're mine. Do you understand?" She asked and I found myself smiling.

"You stole my line." I said and she crashed her lips to mine. I slipped my hand to the side of her head to deepen the kiss. Suddenly someone bursted the door open and we both turned to see Nicholas and Matthew are damn amd about us being together.

"If you dare touch my daughter again.. I will kill you." Nicholas took Crystal's hand and dragged her out.

"I will cut your balls when you're asleep." Matthew said to me coldly and I just looked at these him smirking.
