Chapter 99
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
Allison looked up, locking eyes with the man standing at the door.
The man was stumbling, panting heavily.
Allison recognized him at a glance, âMr. Crane?â
Aidanâs vision was blurry. After knocking Kamilla out, he stag gered out, completely out of control.
He didnât know who had drugged him, but he knew he couldnât let them succeed, so he didnât linger on the second floor. He had planned to go up to the third floor to find an empty room to hide in and get someone to deal with it later, but he didnât expect there to be someone in this room.
His voice was extremely h o ar se, âWho are you?â
Allison stood up, looking at the unstable man in front of her with confusion, âMr. Crane.â The handsome manâs face was flushed, veins bulging on his forehead as if he was trying to endure something. Allison quickly realized, âAre you alright? Do you want me to call a doctor?â
With a âclickâ.
Aidan didnât answer, he just sh ut the door behind him.
He took one step at a time towards Allison, his eyes bloodshot as he stared at her.
A chill ran down Allisonâs spine, she took a step back in confusion. Her back hit the sofa and she fell into it, âMr. Crane, whatâs wrong with you?â
Without his cane, Aidan limped over one step at a time. His suit was slightly wrinkled, his red eyes locked onto Allison, like a cheetah eyeing its prey.
Although Allison was naive, she realized something was wrong. She quickly got up to rush towards the door, but the man caught her waist and roughly threw her onto the sofa. The manâs hot body pressed down on her, and Allison immediately understood his condition.
His body was burning hot, as if on fire.
âLet me go! Mr. Crane, Mr. Crane!!â Allison was somewhat scared, she called out his name, âAidan, Iâm going to call a doctor, my friend is a doctor! Iâll call a doctor for you!!â
She struggled violently, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Her tears fell on his hand, and the man paused for a moment.
Aidan looked at the woman in front of him, his pupils seemed to be torn, flashing a moment of clarity.
He gritted his teeth, struggling to get up and yelled at Allison, âGet out!â
Allison got up shakily, ready to leave quickly. Suddenly, she saw the man pick up a fruit knife from the coffee table and slash his own arm-
She widened her eyes, âMr. Crane!â
Bright red blood flowed from the manâs arm, the intense pain helped him suppress his bodyâs desires and chaotic thoughts, making him completely sober.
The man was panting heavily, sitting on the carpet leaning against the sofa.
Allison looked at the scene in front of her, she was speechless for a brief moment, then quickly ran out.
Aidan lay on the carpet, panting heavily.
He kept thinking about what had happened, the only thing he had been in contact with was the champagne brought by the waiter. Could someone have drugged the champagne?
What was their purpose?
Why was Kamilla in the same room with him? Was Kamilla also drugged?
If he had really lost control and done something to Kamilla, and this news reached Carterâs ears⦠who would be so bold?
Someone carried out such a plan at Carterâs birthday party.
His biggest competitor in this return was only Lucian, but Lucian would never hurt Kamilla.
As he was thinking about these things, the door was suddenly opened again, followed by a faint scent of cherry blossoms that became stronger and stronger.
