Chapter 340
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
âMr. Lindberg, itâs pointless to lie about this.â Allison said.
âAllison, I never lieâ He lowered his head, his breath brushing against her car as he spoke, âNot like you, never a true word.â
âWhen have I lied?â Allison retorted subconsciously But then she remembered. Indeed, she had lied. She lied when she promised Penelope. But Lucian said he never touched Penelope, never said those things to her â how could that be? Allison was surprised. Lucian hated being lied to, yet he himself was a liar.
A ringtone broke the silence in the car. It was Lucianâs phone Lucian picked up his phone from the driverâs seat, his brow furrowed slightly at the caller ID.
From her angle, Allison could perfectly see that it was Penelope calling. She watched as Lucian prepared to answer the call. Suddenly, she grabbed his hand, yanking it towards her, causing Lucianâs phone to fall on the seat. Then, she sat up and kissed him. She didnât want him to answer the call!
She didnât like Penelope. She hated Penelope!
Allisons initiative surprised Lucian, his pupils shrinking slightly. He held her tight, deepening the kiss.
The phone kept ringing, but the pair in the car ignored it.
Lucian knew she did it on purpose.
When the kiss ended, Allison was panting, her chest rising and falling rhythmically. The phone had long stopped ringing. She seemed to only now realize what she had just done. She sat up, lifting her head to look into the manâs eyes.
Lucian had been watching her all along.
âSorry, I interrupted your call with Penelope. She picked up the scattered clothes from the seat, putting them on as she spoke, âHope Mr. Lindberg can transfer the forty thousand dollars to my card soon, I wonât bother you guys anymore.â
As she finished dressing and was about to leave, Lucian hooked his arm around her waist, pulling her back onto the seat. His movements were rough. Allison felt a dull pain as her back hit the seat.
âSince youâve already interrupted us, why not do it thoroughly? Lucian asked.
Allison pushed at his chest, âDidnât you justâ¦â
How could this man have so much energy?
She was unsure. âWere you drugged?â
-Lucianâs voice was husky and sexy, âEven when Iâm not drugged, I have good stamina. You should know.â
Allison blushed That wasnât what she meant. âYou donât feel right. Youâve been in the box all night, how could you have been drugged?â
Lucian was also pondering this He had been in the box all night, drinking the same alcohol as everyone else. And the drink was delivered by Allison. She had no reason to drug him. He had accused her of drugging him out of anger Actually, Lucian knew very well that Allison would never do such a thing.
But he did feel extremely uncomfortable, as if he was on fire.
âDid you notice anything strange when you brought the wine up from the cellar?â Lucian asked.
âI didnâtâ Allison suddenly remembered something. She pursed her lips. The wine wasnât brought up by her, but handed to her by Tina.
Furthermore, if it werenât for Carol looking for her, she would have been on duty on the second Door tonight.
Both Carol and Tina were Serenaâs subordinates. Suddenly, it seemed as if Allison had figured something out Pitch black, dead of night.
