Chapter 283

“Allison, Ms. Sarah is looking for you.” Allison, holding a tray, stepped out of a private room upon hearing this from a waiter, nodding in response.

She handed the tray over to Ashley who was standing outside room 505, asking her to keep an eye on it. She then headed off to Sarah’s office.

“Sarah, what do you need me for? Allison asked.

Sarah, puffing on a cigarette, had her knees crossed on the table, “Allison, there’s a money–making proposition in front of you. Interested?”

Seeing Allisons serious expression, Sarah let out a soft laugh, “It’s all legit, what are you worrying about?”

Allison approached, “Sarah, just spit it out.”

“Gavin contacted me, he wants you to star in a film.” Sarah held out her hand. “15 days of shooting, he’s offering a grand a day. Seems like he’s in a hurry.”

“A grand a day?” Allisons eyes widened slightly, taken aback by the figure.

Gavin? The guy from Penelope’s current crew?

“Is it for a stunt double? But the pay seems too high.” Allison asked.

Sarah laughed, “Silly girl, don’t turn your nose up at good money. Lasked him, it’s not for a stunt double. The original actress, Penelope, hurt her foot and can’t move. So he wants you to take over the second female lead role for 15 days.

Allison clenched her fist slowly, lips sealed “Allison, this is a great opportunity. You can’t possibly want to be a waitress forever?” Sarah said.

Allison was silent for two minutes. She took a deep breath and bowed to Sarah, “Thank you, Sarah.”

At 11 PM, Allison left the Red Jack Club.

Heidi was driving over tonight, so Allison went to wait for her near the A3 exit in the garage.

After waiting for two minutes, Heidi was still not there. The night breeze was chilly. She put on a jacket and rubbed her shoulders.

Suddenly, she heard a car behind her. Thinking it was Heidi, she turned around, only to see a car stopping not far behind her, “Lady, you’re all alone, need a ride?”

Allison moved aside and didn’t respond Then, the man got out of the car. A middle–aged man approached, “Don’t be shy I’s late and you’re not dressed for the weather. It’s warm in my cart”

“What are you doing?” Allison took a step back.

The man grabbed her arm, and Allison tried to shake him off, “Let go! If you don’t stop, I’m calling the police!”
