How can I not worry? Peter thought, I'm lying to everyone. Not the best way to start an internship. If I get it, that is.

"Focus ahead, everyone." Pepper began to speak. Everyone faced her and crowded around.

People seemed nervous, others already seemed let down. Lilac showed no emotion. Discovering her true self would be fun for Peter.

"All ten of you did amazing!" She shifted her gaze to the the old, sketchy man and her smile turned forced. "Thankyou to everyone that interviewed, but sadly only 5 people can be given an internship."

"Peter?" Karen spoke in Peter's ear piece.

Peters mind stopped. "...what?" He whispered behind his hand.

"Congrats to, Lilac rebell, Flash Thompson, Sal Jr, Jhon Anbel and," Pepper started.

"Theres a house break in on 21st street." Karen stated.

"Peter parker!" Pepper finished with a smile.

Peter's mouthed opened in shock, but he couldn't tell what to.

Flash gave Peter a mighty stare. If looks could kill...

The remaining 5 people looked sad, said thanks to pepper and left. Lilac walked over to Peter and grabbed his arm, nudging him closer to shake hands.

She leaned in to peters ear. "Your uncle would be proud." She whispered as she shook his hand.

Peter's eyes grew huge.

"How do you-?" He started.

"Congratulations!" Pepper exclaimed, interrupting peter. ''Are all of you free to start attending daily? Starting the upcoming Monday?" she asked.

"Uh, yeah." Peter said in shock.

"You dont need to check with your uncle?" Flash joked.

Peter stared right into Flash's soul. "He doesn't need to. Right?" Lilac smiled.

"Good!" Pepper said. "Sorry for the rush, but any minute now there will be a meeting I need to attend, so..." pepper left the room urgently.

Everyone else followed.

OUTSIDE STARK TOWER

Peter slowly walked off, waiting to see where Lilac left off.

He didnt understand what she meant by that. 'Your uncle would be proud.'

Did she know he was dead?

Or was she just being nice?

"Hey, Lilac!" Flash yelled as they all left. Lilac turned around to see Flash following her. "Hey?" She replied.

Flash looked off to Peter in the distance, who now was watching flash.

"I'm so glad your going to be doing the intern with me." He smiled.

Lilac masked her smirk well. "Oh?" She asked. Peter could tell somthing was up.

"We'll have so much more time to hang out." Flash said.

Tony and pepper walked out of the tower, speed walking to a car. "No, for the last time I cant give you that list!" Pepper laughed.

As they walked off, flash continued.

"We'll have so much more..." flash pulled lilac in without warning. "Alone time." He whispered in her ear before kissing her.

Peter ran over. Lilac tried pushing flash off her, but flash only started grabbing her hair.

"Tony?" Peppers voice grew serious as she saw Peter push Flash onto the floor.

Tony rolled his eyes and ran over to see what was happening.

"Get off her Flash!" Peter threw himself onto flash and let Lilac step back. Flash layed on the ground and was trying to get out of Peter's grip. Lilac rolled her eyes and stepped back. "Boys." She muttered as she walked off.

Tony cleared his throat and flash quickly stood up, yet Peter didn't know why.

"Really? Scared?" Peter asked, his back facing Tony. Tony raised his eyebrow. "Who started the fight?" Tony asked. Peter felt a shiver up his spine as he spun around. "Oh-! Mr stark, I was just-"

"You. You're off the internship." Tony directed to Peter. Peter's mouth opened in shock. Flash's eyes went wide as he silently laughed. "What, no mr stark, please! I-" peter tried resealing. "I was only helping-"

"I might be a dick," tony started. Pepper nodded silently. "But I don't tolerate fights. Especially boring ones."

Tony started walked off and Peter stood quietly; his mind had gone blank. "Dont be absurd." A voice said from behind.

Peter and Tony turned around in unison to see lilac talking. "Peter was defending me."

Tony turned to Peter, Peter nodded his head slowly. "Flash starter the fight." Lilac pointed.

Flash panicked. Tony nodded a thanks to lilac. "Like I said, Flash. I dont tolerate fights. You're off the internship."

Tony started to walk away, pepper already changing Flash's documents, when he stopped and looked at Peter again.

He stared long and hard, Peter gulped. "Mr...?" Tony started.

"Parker. Peter Parker." Peter finished. Tony Took off his sunglesses- for dramatic effect of course.

"Cool shirt, Mr parker."
