Chapter 964
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 964:

Raegan remained silent, head bowed, causing the man to grab her chin harshly. Then, he slapped her.
The butt of his gun hit Raegan square in the mouth, blood spattering on his teeth and dripping down his lips.
Despite the pain, Raegan spat out a mouthful of blood and confirmed, "Yes, it was me."
Raegan knew the man had seen what happened. I was just in disbelief and needed confirmation. There was no point in hiding it now, and maybe honesty would save him more pain.
The man, who now saw her as more than just an ordinary threat, asked, "How did you know which wire to cut?"
"I guessed it." Raegan shrugged, maintaining her composure under pressure.
The man's suspicion deepened when he sternly ordered, "Come with me and don't try anything or I'll kill you!"
Forcibly, he twisted Raegan's arms behind her back, intending to secure them with rope.
âAh!â Raegan's cry of pain echoed lightly in the empty space.
When the man looked at Raegan's tear-stained face, he let his guard down momentarily, dismissing her as a serious threat. He internally mocked his audacity in handling the explosives.
The man's mistake was underestimating Raegan. In one swift movement, Raegan reached into her bag and pulled out a small device before pressing it against her neck.
A hum of electric shock filled the air. It was a compact stun gun disguised as a battery.
Raegan hadn't brought much with her, but she had made sure to carry this essential item for self-defense.
Surprised, the man jerked, his face contorting in pain as he stumbled backwards. "I'm going to kill you!" he roared, and his training was put into motion.
Despite the shock, the man managed to regain some control and lunged forward to grab Raegan's wrist.
The stun gun, while effective, was not as powerful as a normal-sized baton, and the man had partially dodged the entire impact.
Although the stun gun had injured him, the effect was brief and the damage was not severe enough to completely incapacitate him. Still, he managed to exert force.
Raegan fought fiercely and managed to deliver another shock to his wrist, which had suffered a small cut.
He aimed at the wound, shocking it repeatedly until the electricity made his wrist almost numb with pain.
"Damn it!" the man cursed, recoiling in pain and crouching on the ground, his face twisted in agony.
Seizing the moment, Raegan turned and ran. The hotel hallways were deserted, all the doors tightly closed. He had nowhere to hide, and soon he could hear the rapid patter of footsteps behind him.
The man had caught up to her. "For! You can't run away! Stop! âQuiet!â he shouted, his voice echoing through the hallway.
Despite his injured hand, his determination was relentless as he pursued Raegan, shouting instructions over the radio to alert Lorenzo: âSir, I have found the woman. I chase her to the seventh floor.
Meanwhile, Lorenzo, upon hearing the information, barely reacted. He turned to Katie, with an eerie calmness in his demeanor: âI'm sorry, Miss Glyn. He arrived late. Don't take it into account."
