Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 955:

"If so, experts should be able to determine which cable is the one for the remote control from the video I just sent you," Raegan suggested.

Cary understood his intention and paused, momentarily speechless.

Cary, I'm going to go cut all the wires. Then you can send your men through the window. There are only three hostages in the building, including me. Even if they were discovered, they only control two hostages, so they probably wouldn't dare harm them.

After all, hostages were often used for negotiation.

Lorenzo believed he had control over the International Banquet Center, expecting thousands of hostages, but Mitchel had foreseen his plan and evacuated the place ahead of time.

If Lorenzo risked harming the last two hostages, the special forces would burst in without hesitation, leaving no escape for the culprits.

Raegan shared her analysis with Cary, and Cary thought it was a good plan.

However, Cary couldn't allow a girl with no practical experience to take such a big risk.

Raegan pressed: “Time is of the essence. Cary, I know you understand that this is the best method, and I am capable of completing the task.

Cary thought deeply, but in the end he refused. They had protocols and couldn't allow civilians to engage in such risks, especially someone like Raegan who was unarmed. «Thank you for your contribution, but I cannot accept it. We can't risk your life. Please stay where you are and wait for us to rescue you,” he insisted.

Raegan nodded, “I understand.” He understood the commander's situation. Allowing civilians to take such risks was out of line.

But with a madman like Lorenzo on the loose, every minute of delay put Mitchel in greater danger.

So, after ending the call, Raegan immediately dialed her father without hesitation.

Landen, her father, was unaware of Raegan's dangerous situation because Erick had hidden many things from him due to Landen's condition.

Raegan yelled, "Dad..." He tried to mask his emotions, but his voice cracked as soon as he spoke.

Landen instantly heard the anguish in Raegan's voice; his aged voice was filled with concern. "Raegan, what's wrong?"

Raegan quickly covered herself, clearing her throat. "It's no big deal. "I just choked on some water."

“Oh, have you gotten there yet?” Landen asked. He wasn't aware of the stopover and thought Raegan was still on her business trip.

"I have arrived."

Hearing his father's voice always had a way of stirring his emotions.

Raegan diverted the conversation. "Dad, you know an old military expert in bomb disposal, right?"

Raegan recalled that her father had a close relationship with a retired military man overseas, an expert in bomb disposal and with extensive experience.

“Oh, you mean Smith? What do you need it for?
