Chapter 952

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 952:

? ? ? ? ?

Despite his calming voice, an unsettling threat lingered.

The immense room remained silent.

Lorenzo continued his search and finally stopped in front of a closet, certain that Raegan was inside. It was the only closet slightly open.

He yanked open the closet door. «Honey, we meet again…»

Lorenzo stopped abruptly before finishing the sentence.

The closet was empty. Inside, there were only neatly folded blankets and two pillows.

"Shit!" Loudly, Lorenzo cursed, his frustration rising as he looked at the neat blankets. He took them out and trampled them viciously, cursing with every step. "Shit! Damn!"

Lorenzo then picked up the walkie-talkie, speaking fiercely. «Keep an eye on Katie. "I'm going back to cut out his tongue."

After saying those words, he slammed the closet door shut, which fell off its hinges, crashing loudly.

In solitude, Lorenzo's darker side came out, forgetting any hint of elegance. He thoroughly trashed the room like a bandit and then stopped in front of the mirror to fix his clothes and hair.

After flashing a menacing smile at his reflection in the mirror, Lorenzo left the room feeling strangely satisfied.

As Lorenzo's footsteps receded, Raegan emerged from the closet.

He was not in room 8020, where Lorenzo suspected, but in his original hiding place in 8019.

Fortuitously, she managed to sneak across the balcony as Lorenzo entered 8020. Back at 8019, she used a coat hanger to secure the balcony window, keeping her movements undetected.

Outside, the hallway was silent, a surreal sense of dread permeating the air as Raegan stared at the shattered bedroom door.

He could clearly hear the violent destruction from next door, the soundproofing of the hotel, unable to resist Lorenzo's fury.

Fortunately, Lorenzo had not caused the same havoc in 8019, or she would surely have been discovered.

Before leaving, Raegan calmed her breathing, psyching herself up.

He hesitated for a moment at the door and then returned to the bathroom to tap three short taps on the pipe as a signal.

Worried that Mitchel might not hear her, she quickly repeated the knocks three times, indicating, "I'm fine."

He didn't wait for a response and quickly found the elevator using Cary's safety map, even though it was his first visit.

However, he stared at the elevator, whose metal doors loomed ominously, before finally opting for the emergency exit, distrusting any surveillance that might be controlling the use of the elevator.

Carefully, he went down to the sixth floor, where the wedding was taking place.

Crouching in the emergency exit, Raegan slid her phone under the door, activating the video to discreetly record outside activity. Retrieving the phone, he carefully examined the images. There were no guards in the area.
