Chapter 944

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 944:

? ? ? ? ?

She couldn't say a word. His mouth could do nothing but scream in pain. When the nails were being driven into his foot, it was unbearable beyond words.

Katie had never been tortured like this before. When she was about to lose consciousness from the pain, she thought she saw a masked man crawling on the ground and calling her: "Miss...".

He struggled to pronounce his name: "Abel..." But when he reached out his hand, hoping to grab it, the man scattered like smoke.

Katie then saw another scene. Abel's feet were pierced by glass, bleeding profusely with every step he took. But he didn't seem to care. He carried her on his back without even frowning.

That's when they had a car accident. Abel had gotten Katie out of the car in time before it exploded, causing them to survive together. Panic took hold of him and he didn't even realize that his feet were impaled by shards of glass from the shattered windows.

The scene was so unbearable that not even Katie could bring herself to look at it. But in Abel's eyes, all he could see was his duty to Katie.

Now that Katie was experiencing the stinging pain, she realized what Abel had been through at that moment.

Belatedly she realized that only Abel would never abandon her. But, ironically, it was she who had ordered him to die. And he obeyed without question.

Looking back, Katie could only bitterly regret it. He had not taken full advantage of Abel. Otherwise, he would not have suffered the current agony.

Lorenzo's face transformed into something demonic. He picked up another rusty nail. As his lips curled into a sinister smile, he pointed it at Katie's other foot.

"No!" Katie screamed. His eyes widened, frightened.

He shouted, “Don't do this to me! "I have something to tell you."

Lorenzo's ability to commit countless murders was because he never hesitated. He lived by the principle that villains died from talking too much and doubting. Thus, his actions were always decisive. He did things fairly, leaving no opportunity for the other party to retaliate.

Just like now, Lorenzo wasn't interested in what Katie said she wanted to tell him. He suspected it was just Katie's ploy to buy time.

Lorenzo did not listen to or believe his opponents. He always had clear goals and only did what he wanted. These were the reasons why he was invincible. So he found the position of the nail without hesitation, raised the hammer and knocked it down.

The strong wind howled.

Katie felt her heartbeat stop for a moment. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and blurted out, “His pregnant wife is hiding in this building!”

The expected pain did not come. Instead, Katie heard a metallic sound. He slowly opened his eyes and saw that Lorenzo had thrown away the nail.

Lorenzo smiled sinisterly and asked, "His son?"

At that moment, only a sliver of Katie's soul remained. He breathed a long sigh of relief, as if he had just escaped the jaws of death.

«Yes, his son. "Right in this building."

Mitchel's face fell when he heard this. His chest swelled with emotion, but he said nothing. His every move was being watched by Lorenzo. And Raegan, why was she here?

"Mr. Maxwell, I'm telling the truth. His ex-wife is really in this building. I saw her today and asked a maid to lock her inside. It is very likely that he has not escaped yet. Mr. Maxwell, this is a trap set for you. Believe me. "That man is clever." Katie said, pointing at Mitchel. He stood next to Lorenzo without hesitation. "Their goal is to capture and kill you."

Lorenzo tapped his handkerchief indifferently. Then, he looked at Mitchel with an enigmatic smile and motioned to the two men in black standing next to him.
