Chapter 916

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 916:

? ? ? ? ?

Judd's complaint was interrupted by a commotion from the front of the plane, where a voice loudly exclaimed, “You there! Who allowed you to take photos? The bride does not allow photos!

Raegan could only see the pale face of a woman and a glimpse of her wedding dress. It was Katie, unmistakable in her wedding dress.

The dress cast a spell, illuminating Katie's usually dull complexion with a delicate glow.

As Katie turned toward the elevator, her eyes met Raegan's. A flash of surprise crossed his features, but he quickly composed himself.

Raegan expected Katie to take advantage of the moment to exchange insults, but Katie looked away and let her assistant guide her to the elevator.

Without Katie's unmistakable gaze, Raegan might have doubted what she saw. Normally, Katie didn't miss an opportunity to tease her.

When the elevator doors closed, hiding what was left of the wedding dress, Raegan felt like she was in a dream. Since Mitchel had banished her from Ardlens, she had not expected to find herself at her wedding.

Lost in her reverie, Katie's assistant, who had spoken earlier, abruptly approached Raegan. “Hey, why are you still holding your phone up?”

Looking around, Raegan realized that it was only her and Judd nearby, and she was the only one with a phone. At that moment, he understood the assistant's accusation. «I wasn't taking photos; "I was just checking my phone," he clarified.

Ignoring his explanation, Katie's assistant tried to grab the phone from Raegan, but Judd intervened firmly.

"Back!" Judd ordered sharply.

"You!" The assistant jumped, twisting his wrist in the grip, and called out to a passing waiter. «What is this about? "Aren't we supposed to not allow phones here today?"

The waiter turned to Raegan and rightly asked, “Hello, may I know your room number?”

After Raegan provided her room number, the waiter's attitude changed to one of respect. «I apologize for the misunderstanding. You can go back to your room and rest.”

The assistant stood in his way. «Why should they leave? I haven't checked his phone yet.

The waiter intervened. «This lady is our guest and has permission to use her phone. "He has no evidence that he took photos of the bride."

Raegan appreciated the waiter's impartiality, but wanted to resolve the situation. He challenged the assistant: “If you don't find photos on my phone, what will you do then? How will you answer for your mistake?

The assistant hesitated for a moment before replying dryly: "If there are no photos, even better. Why don't you show me your phone number to confirm?"

Raegan barely suppressed a laugh. Katie's assistant was as unreasonable as she was, assuming the world had to accommodate her demands.

"I'm not interested in entertaining your baseless accusations,"

Raegan replied. «If you think I have taken photos, present your evidence. The burden of proof is on you, not me. "I'm not going to waste my time satisfying your demands."

Raegan's firm response silenced the assistant more effectively than any threat of physical intervention from Judd, who, despite his protective stance, would never hit unless absolutely necessary.

With the matter settled, Raegan returned to her room and stayed the night, opting to have dinner brought to her.

While eating dinner, Raegan turned on the TV to watch the economic news, only to see coverage of Mitchel's big wedding. He had forgotten that the local Ardlens channels would be focused on broadcasting his extravagant event.
