Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 900:

? ? ? ? ?

He knew that showing kindness was only viable when one could guarantee one's own safety. Otherwise, one could unintentionally become a weapon in the hands of the malevolent, risking harm to oneself for no benefit.

Wanting to avoid further entanglement with Katie, Raegan approached the front desk to ask for help, showing what she considered the full extent of her mercy.

As Raegan was about to turn around, Katie's chilling voice stopped her.

"Do you think you're safe now?" His words were deliberate, each one dripping with venom.

Raegan turned to Katie, curious but cautious about what Katie might do next.

Suddenly, Katie's voice became a desperate cry for help.

"Relief! Someone is trying to kill me! Someone is trying to kill me!

As Raegan's face turned to stone, she watched in horror as Katie crawled towards her, frantically smearing blood on her hands and gripping them tightly.

Katie's eyes burned with hatred as she hissed, "Don't even think about running away!"

Suddenly, Katie's assistant burst onto the scene, grabbing Raegan while yelling, "Murderer, don't run away!"

Raegan struggled to free herself, but the floor was slippery with blood and water, making it treacherous to move without risking falling, and she was unable to free herself from the assistant's grip.

As a crowd gathered, onlookers cast accusing glances at Raegan, whispering among themselves.

«Looking at this girl's innocent face! Who would have thought he could commit murder? Truly, appearances are deceiving.

"In fact, I heard it was because of a man."

"That? This kind of woman deserves to die. No one would sympathize with her even if she died.

Raegan's hands were stained with Katie's blood, and she was surrounded, with no way out. He tried to shout his innocence, but his voice was lost in the cacophony. The crowd's anger was palpable, drowning out any chance of explanation.

In the midst of the chaos, Katie's assistant continued to push Raegan.

Clinging tightly to the assistant's arm, Raegan managed to stay upright despite the assistant's several attempts. The assistant then redoubled her efforts to take down Raegan.

In the midst of the tumult, someone had alerted the authorities, and a voice rang through the crowd: "Keep an eye on this evil woman, and wait for the patrolmen to arrive."

«Make way! “Everyone move aside!” a stern voice ordered, separating the crowd effortlessly.

Captive of Katie's assistant, Raegan watched as a cold, indifferent man approached. He passed by her without stopping.

In one swift motion, Mitchel ignored Katie's blood stains, crouched down, and scooped her up into his arms. His gaze never stopped on Raegan, not even for a fleeting second. To him, it seemed, only Katie mattered.

Everyone else was just a background.

Despite maintaining her composure, Raegan felt her heart skip a beat. He recognized the intensity with which Mitchel was focused on Katie. It was the kind of undivided attention she herself had ever known. It was clear that Mitchel had fallen in love with Katie.
