Chapter 894

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 894:

? ? ? ? ?

The factory owner, a resilient single mother of two, impressed Raegan with her strength and determination.

As dinner time approached, Raegan graciously accepted the invitation and allowed the factory owner to treat her to lunch.

They chose a restaurant preferred by the owner of the dye factory, who came from the northern regions and had a predilection for exotic cuisine.

They served her a roast sparrow, but Raegan found it such a repulsive dish that she couldn't even stand the smell, much less think about eating it.

As soon as the plate was served, Raegan felt an overwhelming urge to vomit.

Although there was a bathroom available in the room, Raegan hesitated to use it, worried that the lack of sound insulation might disturb other diners.

He decided to excuse himself with the excuse of answering a phone call and went to the outside bathroom, where he began to vomit violently.

Unbeknownst to him, a pair of eyes had been watching his every move.

As soon as Raegan entered the bathroom, the person who had been watching her followed close behind.

Raegan rushed to the sink, vomiting violently, then used the mouthwash to freshen her breath.

As Raegan turned to leave, she saw a woman in the bathroom, reeking of alcohol and a pungent mix of greasy barbecue and spicy odors.

The stench made Raegan gag, fighting the urge to vomit once again.

Retreating to the bathroom, Raegan succumbed to another bout of violent vomiting and remained inside until the wave of nausea passed.

To Raegan's surprise, the woman stood there, frowning in worry. "Hi gorgeous. Are you OK?"

The woman, now clean, smelled fresher and seemed more presentable.

Raegan instinctively covered her nose and mouth. "I'm fine. It's no big deal".

The woman apologized: "My apologies. It stank of food and drink because of a clumsy waiter. Did it bother you?

Raegan dismissed the apology. "Don't worry. Lately I'm very sensitive to smells.

«You look the same as I did when I was pregnant. "Are you pregnant?" the woman observed, raising her eyebrows.

Raegan's silence was her only response to the woman's question. She remained on guard, wary of strangers who seemed too familiar.

The woman offered him a package of alcohol-free wipes, her voice brimming with excitement. "They are gentle enough for pregnant women."

Raegan accepted the wipes with a polite smile. "Thank you, but my nausea is not pregnancy related."

Although the woman seemed friendly, Raegan felt uncomfortable by the woman's continued insinuations about the pregnancy, especially since she hadn't mentioned any of it.

Adding to her unease, Raegan's black trench coat kept her body well hidden, making the woman's questions seem even more intrusive.
