Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 887:

Frozen with fear, Elin bit her arm to force herself to concentrate. He crawled to the table, struggling to grab his phone. Dialing quickly, he whispered, âHello, I want to report a crimeâ¦â
Outside, Dayton continued his relentless assault on the door.
Elin crawled under the table and curled up, shivering uncontrollably.
Just then, Elin's phone rang with an incoming call. It was one of his studio companions. He silenced him quickly.
But the noise had already given away its presence. Dayton heard it and knew it was there. With his belt, he slammed the door from side to side. âElin, do you think you can hide from me by staying silent?â he mocked maliciously.
âCan you hide for a lifetime?â His laugh was merciless and cold.
Elin's hand was bleeding where he had pinched it too hard.
Outside, Dayton's twisted game began. "Elin, do you remember our game of counting to ten?" he shouted with a horrible giggle. «If I count to ten and you still haven't opened the door, I will be very angry. Do you need me to remind you of the consequences?
Elin knew it very well. Every time Dayton counted to ten, she had to crawl out like a dog. If she failed, he would drizzle her with whatever sauce he fancied at the time, whether tomato, soy, or chili, and cover her from head to toe. Dayton would then take photos and print them on large posters, forcing Elin to contemplate her own humiliated images.
In addition to physical abuse, Dayton took perverse pleasure in psychologically tormenting Elin, crushing her spirit, training her to do his cruel whims.
His behavior was rooted in his own helplessness. Unable to accept it, he saw in Elin a potential cure for his failures, as he temporarily bristled when he first saw her.
On their wedding night, when his impotence persisted, Dayton demanded that Elin sleep with other men, hoping to gain some twisted form of arousal.
How could Elin gain access? Annis had educated her in self-esteem and self-love, principles almost engraved in her being.
In a moment of desperate struggle, Elin had kicked Dayton's penis, and since then this useless organ had not reacted again.
Instead of reflecting on himself, Dayton unleashed his fury on Elin, blaming her for his helplessness and finding perverse satisfaction in torturing her.
Elin had wanted to escape, but Dayton had cleverly transferred her to Aurora under the excuse of work.
In Aurora, the law seemed non-existent, and Dayton took advantage of it, doing whatever he wanted without fear of repercussions.
Dayton used Annis' security to threaten Elin, locking her up and taking away all means of communication. He confined her to his home, spreading lies that Elin was depressed and mentally unstable, justifying his control in the eyes of outsiders.
Elin was often disheveled, which made Dayton's claims more believable to anyone who saw her.
Dayton monitored Elin's calls to Annis, ready to cut off communication at any sign that the truth would come to light, which would mean severe punishment for Elin.
As time passed in that foreign land surrounded by Dayton's allies, Elin learned that submission could prolong her survival. Every night, she whispered to herself the need to live, to survive until she found a way to escape Dayton's clutches.
It was Raegan who was the first to realize something was wrong. It involved Erick, who used his contacts to rescue Elin from Aurora.
Through it all, Dayton refused to consider divorce, his twisted happiness derived solely from his dominance over Elin. He couldn't get the same satisfaction from anyone else.
Living in constant fear, Elin was finally freed when Erick intervened, and Dayton reluctantly agreed to the divorce.
