Chapter 885

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 885:

? ? ? ? ?

College life whizzed by.

For the first three years, Annis visited Elin in Uchaesau to celebrate the New Year. However, last year Elin returned to her new home for the holidays.

During the twenty days of vacation, Elin barely ventured out, only to shopping centers and familiar schools before leaving Uchaesau, without meeting anyone she knew. Solitude had become his preference, his desire for social interaction dulled by time.

On the eve of Elin's departure from Uchaesau, Annis mentioned Erick, a name that had not been mentioned for years.

Erick had left his executive position three years ago, tired of corporate persecution. He had left the company to dedicate himself to academia and had become a visiting professor. His research earned him international recognition.

Elin, absorbed in her studies and away from the media, was slow to learn of her achievements.

He learned that, before leaving the Foster Group, Erick had launched a service route to Uchaesau. It was clear that the company was not profitable, which provoked a rare display of fury from Landen, but Erick was determined to get it started.

Later, every time Annis visited Uchaesau, coincidentally the staff of the Foster Group also had to be there, which made Annis's travels more comfortable.

Over time, this seemingly unprofitable route won the praise of Uchaesau leaders, who praised the Foster family for their generous spirit. This acclaim had an unexpected benefit. It increased the value of the Foster family's stock and expanded its business presence.

The company, which was initially considered unprofitable, ultimately propelled the Foster family to greater prominence.

Elin didn't give it any importance. He knew Erick's business acumen. He was not one to embark on an adventure that did not promise success.

After completing her studies at Uchaesau, Elin stayed for a further year before returning to Swynborough.

At a social event, Elin crossed paths with Erick again and met Dayton, her childhood confidant.

What followed was a chapter that Elin wanted to erase. It was a tumultuous period, a chapter of darkness etched in his memory. Dayton, to her, was a terror more intimidating than any creature of the night.

As midnight approached and exhaustion took hold, Elin's eyelids grew heavy.

Through the haze of sleep, his phone beeped a message. He hadn't looked at the screen yet. He was from Dayton.

Elin reached out and felt for the phone on the bedside table.

He opened his eyes and saw a line of text on the screen.

He was from Dayton. «Elin, you can't escape from me. I will find you.

Suddenly, the phone slipped from his hands and fell to the ground. His head rang as if it had been hit with a stick.

The ghosts of past nightmares swirled around her, and Elin wanted to scream in pain and fear. However, he did not make a sound. My throat felt clogged. “Ah…” Elin managed a muffled roar.

Then, a loud bang resounded. Elin fell out of bed. Pain coursed through his body.

Elin blinked. The room was dark and silent. He fumbled for his phone, but found nothing.

As panic took hold, a harsh sound cut through the silence. It was the familiar ringing of his alarm.
