Chapter 884

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 884:

? ? ? ? ?

Today, a sudden rise in temperature overwhelmed Elin in class, leaving her too weak to return to her dorm alone. A teacher asked a classmate, known as the young man, for help. At first, Elin managed to walk with support, but eventually, her strength completely diminished.

“Elin, do Ambrosia girls always try so hard?” The young man joked, nonchalantly: "So small, but so energetic."

Unable to muster a smile, Elin felt her discomfort increase. The young man, sensing his difficult situation, offered his support. «Elin, can I help you up?

"I'm fine," Elin insisted.

But the young man was not convinced and asked the residence supervisor for help to accompany Elin back to her room.

With the dormitory empty for the holidays, Elin found herself in solitude, the stillness interrupted only by the rigorous schedule of a diligent student abroad.

The dorm supervisor watched her, her heart full of empathy for Elin.

Even sick and voiceless, Elin insisted on attending class. He was definitely trying too hard.

The supervisor offered her medicine, filled cups with steaming water, and helped her with medication.

During the feverish delirium, as Elin clung to the supervisor's hand, her thoughts returned home. “Mom…” he whispered, his grip tight and tears streaming down his cheeks.

"I really want to go home... But he doesn't want to see me..."

Elin's words, steeped in her native language, were lost on the supervisor, who sensed a mother's universal longing for comfort and gently rocked her. "My dear, if your heart is at home, why don't you visit us?"

Pearl-like tears fell from Elin's eyes as she grabbed the supervisor's hand. At nineteen, he first faced the sting of unrequited love, and the pain was deep. An emptiness resonated inside him, a space emptied by pain. He swore that his heart would never bleed like that again.

During her illness, Elin never thought of interrupting her studies. As night fell, his fever broke.

At dawn, Elin got up early and headed to the cafeteria to eat before class.

As he passed under the tree from the night before, the silhouette crossed his mind again. He looked a lot like Erick.

However, Elin quickly dismissed that idea.

The relentless white of the snow tired Elin's eyes until a sudden flash of red caught her attention.

Looking down, Elin saw a red four-leaf clover emerging from the snow cover. He doubted his eyes, blinked hard, but the image persisted.

Bending down, Elin picked up what she thought was a four-leaf clover, but discovered a rose gold necklace with an intricately crafted pendant. The craftsmanship was exquisite and strikingly beautiful. By chance, tiny initials were engraved on the rose gold frame of the shamrock. Looking closer, he saw “THE” engraved on it. It was a chance moment, stumbling upon a necklace that reflected her initials.

Elin admired the beauty of the necklace, but recognized that she couldn't keep it. He returned it to the school's lost and found service.

Such opulent objects often carried a serial number to identify their rightful owners.

Three days later, Elin's phone rang with news from the school's lost and found department. Surprisingly, the luxury brand had confirmed that the necklace was Elin's, as the identification number matched perfectly.

Confused, Elin picked up the necklace. She was sure she had never bought it, and a check with the brand's customer service gave her no clue. Privacy policies prevented them from revealing the buyer's name.

Without any clue, Elin put the necklace away.
