Chapter 840

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 840:

? ? ? ? ?

Raegan frowned and instinctively turned to Mitchel. She doubted he didn't realize that Katie's request that she design the clothes was just a way to embarrass her.

Katie, smiling, said to Mitchel, “Mitchel, Miss Foster's designs are quite pretty. Let her handle it."

Mitchel's gaze was cold, and as he began to speak, he suddenly changed his statement, commenting indifferently: "You take care of these unimportant things."

At his words, Raegan was not surprised. I shouldn't have any expectations anyway.

It could have been the restaurant's air conditioning that was malfunctioning. Raegan felt her skin crawl under her clothes, the cold bothering her deeply. If they were capable of behaving like this, why wouldn't she take advantage? I would be foolish not to take advantage of the opportunity to make some money.

Looking directly at them, Raegan said bluntly, "Okay, I'll have my assistant make an appointment with you later."

“Enjoy your meal,” Raegan added, with a slight smile.

He then moved forward without stopping for a second.

Katie was about to say something else, but Mitchel quickly stopped her by grabbing her hand.

Noticing Mitchel holding her hand, Katie immediately softened and her expression turned into a sweet smile, waiting for Raegan to look back at them.

But Raegan continued walking with firm, unwavering steps, never once looking back.

Katie was overcome with disappointment, but other feelings soon arose. She considered Mitchel's holding her hand as great progress.

Moments before, it had taken her a few moments to muster the courage to link her arms loosely with him, avoiding direct contact.

“Mitchel…” Katie whispered softly.

Even though he held Katie's hand, Mitchel didn't look at her. His gaze was cold and distant, staring ahead, although the road was empty.

Just as Katie was starting to feel confused and was about to ask, Mitchel's grip tightened, squeezing her hand painfully until it felt like her bones were going to break.

Katie's face contorted in pain as she exclaimed, "Mitchel!"

Mitchel remained stoic, seemingly oblivious to her screams, his grip as relentless as a vise. This made her sweat and grimace.

“Mitchel…” Katie was about to cry from the pain, but managed to gasp out, “It hurts. Please let me go."

That's when Mitchel looked at Katie, his voice cold.

"Someone is taking photos."

However, Mitchel did not loosen his grip. Instead, he pulled her along and moved forward quickly.

With the press taking photos of them, Katie managed to contain the urge to cry in pain, forcing a smile.

The pain was intense, his fingers were squeezed so much that they felt deformed, on the verge of serious damage. Despite the agony, Katie did her best to maintain a smile, which seemed more painful than any tears could express.
