Chapter 819:

Raegan struggled to regain her composure, her voice retaining an icy edge as she spoke. «I feel somewhat unwell. "I must excuse myself."
Noticing Raegan's paleness, Benson refrained from insisting that she stay. âI can have my driver accompany you,â he offered.
«It will not be necessary. âMy driver is waiting for me outside,â Raegan politely declined.
As Raegan gracefully left the room, Benson turned to Klein with a stern expression. "What have you done to make Raegan so angry?"
Klein scratched his head, stammering, unable to offer a coherent response.
Benson wasted no time in cutting off the evasion. âDid you just hug her against her wish?â
"I... regret my actions." Klein began to explain before choosing to apologize. Who could blame him for being captivated by a woman as stunning as Raegan? Caught up in the moment, Klein had impulsively embraced her, unaware of the consequences that would ensue.
"Idiot!" Benson scolded him sharply, "You absolute moron!"
«Could you help clear things up for Raegan? This outcome was never my intention. "His reaction caught me by surprise," Klein told Benson.
With a swift motion, Benson's wine glass fell onto Klein's face.
"Phew!" exclaimed Benson, in a tone full of disdain. «You must be dreaming. Consider yourself lucky he's not hitting you. I will inform your father of this incident. Your lack of tact astonishes me. Have you ever interacted with women?
«I implore you, please. I promise you this will not happen again. "There was no malice in my actions." Klein almost sank to his knees, begging for mercy. «If my father finds out about this, he will be livid. He might even punish me.
"I'm guilty too for taking the time to see your true nature before introducing you to Raegan." Benson's frustration boiled over and she smashed a wine glass at Klein's feet. âNow, get out of my sight!â
For Benson, this was a profound failure. He decided to offer Raegan a sincere apology the next day. His judgment had hit rock bottom.
Recognizing Benson's intense anger, Klein wisely refrained from uttering any more words. He quickly got up and left.
âWait a minute,â Benson shouted.
Thinking that Benson's request meant a change of attitude, Klein turned around, a spark of hope in his eyes.
«Raegan's calling card. Give it to me,â Benson ordered.
With a sigh, Klein took back the card.
Benson gestured to Ruben. «You too, son. It seems that you two have been up to no good.â
"I haven't done anything!" Ruben protested weakly.
Benson scoffed. "You're inseparable, so there's bound to be some mischief afoot."
Without words, Rubén could only look down.
Benson's intuition was keen, and both Klein and Klein, backed by their wealthy families, had indeed been involved in questionable activities.
