Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 812:

? ? ? ? ?

The Dixon Group was rumored to be undergoing major reforms, with Mitchel eliminating all of Alexis's supporters.

At first, only a few remained neutral. But as soon as word spread of Mitchel's disappearance, they quickly switched sides and joined Alexis' side. Without Mitchel's disappearance, people showed their true colors and were eliminated.

Now, Alexis and Henley were alone in the company, and Mitchel could eliminate them in seconds. This seemed to explain why Mitchel seemed so confident and relaxed now.

As Raegan stared at Mitchel's handsome, striking face, the thought crossed her mind that perhaps she had misjudged him all along.

Perhaps Mitchel was not facing any extraordinary challenge. Perhaps his strange behavior was simply because his feelings for her had changed.

Raegan hesitated for a moment before approaching.

As Raegan approached, Benson greeted her warmly, took her hand, and introduced her to Mitchel. «This is my friend's daughter, Raegan Foster. He runs a studio in Ardlens. Mitchel, please take care of her in the future.

Mitchel's lips pursed slightly, his gaze lingering uncertainly as he responded, "Benson, I know her."

Raegan managed a smile, glad that Mitchel didn't directly attack with his usual sarcastic comments.

Benson, surprised but pleased, exclaimed, "Do you know each other?" That's even better! "Raegan is as stunning as she is talented."

It was clear that Benson was unaware of their relationship, and her words implied that she was trying to set them up, which made the atmosphere instantly uncomfortable.

Mitchel nodded nonchalantly and replied, "Yes, that's right." It was clear that he did not want to continue with the topic.

Benson sensed the discomfort. Although he admired Mitchel, he had no intention of forcing a connection between them.

Raegan noticed and, worried that Benson's good intentions could lead to an awkward situation, changed the direction of the conversation. "Benson, how do you know Mr. Dixon?"

At the way Raegan addressed him, Mitchel's hand tightened on his cup.

Raegan didn't notice Mitchel's reaction as she turned to look at Benson.

Benson responded with a smile: “We met at an art show. "Mitchel and I had a great conversation and we really connected."

Benson's friend across the table smiled and suggested, "Since you guys have such a good connection, let's drink to it."

As he spoke, he raised his glass, prompting everyone to join in the toast.

Raegan's glass was full of grape juice, but it looked like wine.

Just as he was about to drink, Mitchel jerked his arm, causing his glass to spill. He apologized with a flat expression: "I'm sorry."

Raegan was speechless. He poured himself another glass of grape juice from a special jug. Benson, knowing that Raegan did not drink alcohol, had arranged this jug, although the others did not know it.

Just as Raegan was putting down the jug, Mitchel's elbow unexpectedly rose again.

“Clang!” This time, the jug Raegan was holding was knocked over.
