Chapter 802:

The security staff was quick to respond: “I apologize, Mr. Dixon. "This lady mentioned having a close relationship with her mother."

“Get rid of her!” Mitchell ordered impatiently.

When Raegan turned around, the soup she had worked on for hours, burning her fingers in the process, had already been thrown into the hospital trash can.

Over the past few days, Raegan reminded herself over and over again not to be upset by Mitchel's cold attitude. He must have had his reasons. However, seeing their lack of appreciation for his efforts, his heart was pierced with anguish.

Approaching Mitchel, Raegan found him stepping back as if avoiding something unpleasant.

Pausing briefly, Raegan silently retrieved the thermos from the trash can.

As he picked it up, the sight of his white, bandaged fingers brought a fleeting grimace to Mitchel's face.

Moments later, Raegan opened the lid of the thermos, releasing a delicious aroma. In full view of everyone, he raised the soup he had rescued from the trash to his lips and drank several sips.

"What are you doing?" Mitchel frowned and reached out to take the thermos from her, saying firmly, “You shouldn't drink that.” Who knew what germs were in the hospital trash can?

Raegan stepped back, keeping a cool distance, and said flatly, “This soup is clean, and so am I. "I'm not trash."

Despite Raegan's words, she simply wasn't joking about her health.

The thermos had a protective design at the mouth, which prevented bacteria from entering immediately after disposal.

The tense silence was broken by a child's voice.

"Wicked!" Janey broke free from Victor's grasp and ran towards Mitchel, hitting him with her small fists. "Wicked! Why did you throw away the soup that my mom spent hours cooking? "Mom burned her hand because of that."

Mitchel's face hardened.

Janey's anguished cries echoed through the room. «You... I don't like you anymore! Wicked! You make my mom cry! "Mommy always cries at night."

Janey's desire to find Mitchel was to demand answers. Why didn't Mitchel keep his promise? Why did he make Raegan cry? Mitchel had sworn to bring happiness to both of them. In such a short time, why had he caused his mother so much pain?

Children, in their anguish, do not spare words. Every emotion was overflowing.

«Despicable dad! You have become a cruel figure, causing my mom immense sadness. "I refuse to continue considering you my dad."

Janey yelled.

With tears streaming down her face, Janey stood on tiptoe to hit Mitchel, but suddenly, she lost her balance and fell. Instantly, he collapsed to the ground, crying out loud.

Victor reacted quickly and picked up Janey before Raegan could reach her.

From her point of view, it seemed that Mitchel had forcibly pushed Janey away. This instantly ignited Raegan's fury.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Raegan charged forward, pushing Mitchel hard. Mitchel, who was usually a robust man, staggered several steps back.
