Chapter 801

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 801:

? ? ? ? ?

«Victor, I need to ask my dad something. Could you help me talk to him please? Janey's lips trembled, tears ready to spill.

Victor, with a softened heart, agreed: "I'll try to ask him for you."

And Victor accompanied Janey to the triage counter.

Outside Luciana's living room, Raegan was negotiating with security to bring the soup inside.

The security staff stood firm, insisting on not accepting food from strangers.

After Raegan insisted on her requests, the security staff, seeing her injured hands, felt a pang of compassion and told her, “You can leave her here. I'll ask for permission later."

Raegan was driven primarily by guilt, believing that acting could ease her feelings.

As Raegan put the thermos down, she noticed Mitchel approaching.

It was clear that he had come to visit Luciana.

Mitchel passed Raegan without stopping or acknowledging her, continuing on his way.

Raegan paused briefly and instinctively shouted, “Mitchel.”

Mitchel seemed to pause reluctantly, responding with an indifferent nod.

His handsome face remained impassive, with an unusual coldness.

Despite past quarrels with Luciana, Raegan was determined to take Janey to see Luciana. Ultimately, Luciana had saved them at the risk of her own life, a debt Raegan could not ignore.

Furthermore, during Mitchel's disappearance after the explosion, Luciana was the only one who believed Raegan's claim that Mitchel was alive.

With her determination in mind, despite sensing Mitchel's impatience, Raegan still asked, "Can I come in to see Luciana?"

"No," Mitchel replied coldly.

Undeterred, Raegan continued, “I'll just take a look. I promise not to disturb..."

Before Raegan could finish, Mitchel's chilling voice interrupted her: “If there's nothing else, please leave. Outsiders are not welcome here.

Outsiders… Raegan clenched her fist, disheartened by his words.

Despite the evolution of their relationship, she was not to be reduced to the label of "outsider."

Security watched as Raegan affirmed her closeness to Luciana moments before, her face now burning with embarrassment.

Struggling to maintain her composure, Raegan whispered, "I apologize for the interruption."

As Raegan was about to leave, Mitchel's cold voice spoke again, addressing the security personnel. "Who allowed you to accept objects from strangers?"
