Chapter 763

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 763:

? ? ? ? ?

Disgusted, Mitchel walked to a sink, fetching water to rinse his face.

Raegan followed him, shouting, “I'm not giving up. "I'll be here waiting until you're ready to talk to me."

Mitchel remained silent.

Raegan's spirits lifted as she left. The confusion persisted, but so did the undeniable feeling that their love remained intact.

Their story was rich and full of joys, separations, losses and reunions, reflecting the entire spectrum of life. There were countless moments in which Mitchel risked everything for her, even his own life.

Raegan was convinced that the depth of their connection was not something that could simply be disconnected. Reacting impulsively to his apparent indifference and abandoning him would be a true act of cruelty. Therefore, his will to fight for his love was iron.

No matter what happened, Raegan was determined to honor her old love and hold on to a life without regrets; That, for her, was essential.

Walking down the stairs, Raegan unsurprisingly ran into Katie, who had been looking for her.

Katie hadn't had a moment's peace since Mitchel's reappearance.

He had seen Raegan get up and leave, and shortly after, Mitchel had excused himself on the pretext of going to the bathroom. Lingering anxiety tempted her to follow them immediately, but she hesitated to take that step.

Since her return, Mitchel had softened towards her, offering her promises.

Although it should have been good news, a shadow of unease crept into her, worried that this perfect illusion would soon be shattered.

After five tortuous minutes, Katie's patience wore thin and she went upstairs to look for them. Witnessing Raegan's descent ignited his fury to new heights. Without a doubt, this woman must have attracted Mitchel.

“Raegan.” Katie approached with feigned serenity, closing the distance between them. «Mitchel and I are together again. It's about time you showed some self-love and let it go.

“Are we getting back together?” Raegan laid bare the truth. “Have you ever really been together?”

“I…” Words failed Katie in the midst of her fury. "Isn't it clear?"

Katie hinted that their joint appearances should leave no doubt that they were a couple.

However, Raegan counterattacked with a shudder: "It's not obvious to me. You know, standing next to you, Mitchel seems more like he's doing an act of charity.

So that there were no misunderstandings, Raegan explained it. "Like I'm helping a pregnant woman across the street."

«What are you implying? What are you implying? Katie, livid beyond words, contemplated confronting Mitchel. Deciding not to waste his breath on Raegan, he hissed a warning: Be careful. Don't even think about chasing him.

Raegan stood her ground. "Katie, have you ever wondered why you're so restless?"

The certainty in Raegan's gaze caused Katie to feel a moment of concern.

Before Katie could reply, Raegan responded, "It's because what you're holding on to isn't really yours."

"You! Ridiculous!" Katie lashed out, convinced that her offer of seafood stew had somehow tipped the balance in her favor. However, Raegan's presence was enough to make her blush, her irritation escaping in a sharp exhale.
