Chapter 760

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 760:

? ? ? ? ?

Although there was no direct evidence, it was clear that Lauren's actions were instigated by Katie. And Janey's kidnapping, Luciana's injury.

Weren't they Katie's work?

Even Raegan could connect the dots and figure it out. Wouldn't Mitchel, a man, realize his intelligence? Or was he aware and just letting it happen?

Mitchel noticed that Raegan wasn't moving even after a while, so he moved on from her. Her aloof demeanor made it seem like there was something contagious in the air around where Raegan was. He seemed eager to widen the distance between him and Raegan.

Mitchel and Katie slowly walked away. However, Raegan could still hear Katie's voice. “Mitchel, they say the seafood stew here is amazing. I really want to try it…”

Raegan's mind was a chaos, her thoughts a chaotic whirlwind.

Repeatedly, she reminded herself that Mitchel had his reasons, and that she shouldn't dwell on it too much before the fight had started.

“Miss Foster,” a woman shouted, bringing Raegan back to the present.

She was the client Raegan was supposed to meet with and who, by chance, had bumped into her right here.

Raegan forced a smile, albeit a forced one. "Mrs. "Craig."

The woman, head of the media department, was direct and Raegan found it easy to talk to her.

Noticing Raegan's ashen complexion, Mrs. Craig expressed concern: "You're not moving. Are you feeling bad?

Raegan hesitated. Even a stranger could tell that he was not feeling well.

Surely, Mitchel would have noticed. It was hard to believe he hadn't.

Mitchel used to be very observant. He must have realized how distressed she looked. His decision to ignore it must have been because he did not want to express his concern.

Mrs. Craig offered, "Maybe we should postpone our meeting?" Would you like to visit a hospital first?

Snapping out of her daze, Raegan smiled weakly. "I'm not well. Let's continue."

"What do we have for lunch?"

“Seafood stew,” Raegan answered.

They arrived at a popular restaurant, which still had a line. It wasn't the busiest time yet, so the crowd was manageable.

When they got to the front, the waitress asked them what they wanted.

Raegan replied, “Seafood stew.” I was looking forward to trying the seafood stew which Katie said was delicious.

The waitress apologized: "I'm sorry, but we're out of seafood stew for today."

Mrs. Craig, always enthusiastic and attentive, noticed Raegan's disappointment and tried to lift her spirits. He pointed to a large pot that was being delivered to another table. «Do you think those two can finish the entire pot alone? Maybe we could ask them to share it? "We will pay full price."
