Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

«Miss Foster, my mother is fighting for her life because she saved you. What do you think my reasons are? Mitchel's words were icy, they showed no desire to see her. "Please leave now," he said.
The silence around him was terrifying.
Raegan felt like she had plunged into an icy hole, her entire body trembled, even her steps were weak. He leaned against the wall to steady himself before slowly saying, âMitchel, we don't like thisâ¦â
Hearing her words, Mitchel turned and looked at her coldly.
"Wie?" he asked. "What relationship do we have?"
Raegan paused and then said softly, âI love you and youâ¦â
"Talking about love after divorce seems absurd," he replied coldly.
His voice was harsh and cutting. "If there was love, wouldn't we still be together?"
His words crushed Raegan's fragile courage and confidence.
Mitchel's features hardened and a sarcastic half-smile formed on his lips. If I remember correctly, Miss Foster, we haven't remarried, have we?
His incessant verbal attacks made Raegan feel vulnerable. She hid her trembling hand behind her back, unable to look him in the eye.
Seeing Raegan standing there, Mitchel's voice became even colder as he ordered, âRemove anyone who is not involved. "No one enters without my permission."
Anyone who is not involved⦠The person who had once risked his life to save her was now dismissing her as âanyone who is not involved.â Raegan felt a suffocating tightness in her chest. He felt like someone had turned a key in his chest, squeezing him so much he could barely catch his breath.
The excitement of seeing Mitchel alive faded, leaving Raegan feeling completely deflated. She stared at his tall, rigid figure from behind, a whirlwind of confusion, despair, and disbelief swirling in her eyes.
As the bodyguard approached, Raegan gestured frantically. "I'll go alone." Her voice cracked with emotion, but she forced herself to maintain her composure, for his sake and her own.
Raegan bowed her head slightly to hold back her tears and said, "I'm sorry I brought it up right after you came back." You're right. "This is not the time to bother you."
Automatically, Raegan attributed Mitchel's harsh behavior to shock from her mother's injuries. Instead of reacting defensively, he took a step back of his own accord.
Without waiting for a response, Raegan quickly added, âI'm so sorry for Luciana's injury. If there is anything I can do, tell me.
"Let's talk about the rest when Luciana is well." Raegan spoke quickly, as if afraid Mitchel might say something more. After saying this, he did not wait for Mitchel's response and quickly turned around to leave.
The elevator doors opened and Raegan stumbled in, deep in thought, and bumped into someone.
âI'm sorry⦠I'm sorryâ¦â Raegan stammered an apology with her head bowed.
Luis looked at Raegan in surprise. âRaegan?â
At this, Raegan swallowed hard, fighting the urge to cry that threatened to overwhelm her once again. Why did Luis treat her the same way while Mitchel treated her with this coldness?
Raegan lowered her head, her eyes brimming with tears, fighting to keep them at bay. His eyes could burst from the effort of holding back tears.
