Chapter 725

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

? ? ? ? ?

Katie paled instantly, her voice a hiss through clenched teeth.

“You will regret this!”

Reagan said: “I harbor regrets. "I regret not having pulled myself together sooner, for not having allowed you to face the consequences sooner."

"I haven't done anything wrong!" Katie maintained her composure, unfazed by the police's arrival. «Do you think this will stop me? "I am also a victim of Mr. Gómez."

Raegan fixed her gaze on the woman who claimed to care for Mitchel and asked pointedly, "Despite all the atrocities you've committed, are they really motivated by love?"

Katie scoffed disdainfully. Leaning closer to Raegan's ear, she whispered in a voice audible only to them, "Indeed, it's because I love him. It's your fault. "You shouldn't have taken the man I wanted."

"Katie, actually, the one you appreciate the most is yourself." Raegan coldly uttered, “Your affection is truly pathetic!”

"Who do you think you are to judge my life?" Katie's voice rose to a hysterical screech, her words spilling out uncontrollably. «If it weren't for you, Mitchel would have fallen in love with me!»

From a young age, Katie was in love with Mitchel. Once she dressed up as a boy to get close to Mitchel.

When Mitchel discovered Katie's trick, she laughed at it as if it were a playful experiment, trying to see life from a different angle.

Although her story seemed plausible, Mitchel stayed away from Katie ever since, without changing his attitude.

Driven by her obsession, Katie invented a more dramatic story. She claimed she was an exile, banished by her own father, hoping to gain Mitchel's sympathy. Her bold movements were proof of how desperately she wanted to get his attention.

However, Katie was careful not to overdo it, afraid of alienating Mitchel.

While living abroad, Katie kept an eye on Mitchel, aware of all the women who entered his life. None seemed important to him.

In Katie's opinion, Mitchel's kindness to Lauren was only out of gratitude and obligation. Raegan was nothing more than a minor flicker in Katie's mind. Even Lauren, who was not a true lover, ended up causing a breakup that led to Raegan divorcing Mitchel.

Katie didn't pay much attention to someone as seemingly insignificant as Raegan. Little did he know that the same woman he had despised would be the one Mitchel would end up risking everything for.

Katie's fingers clenched tightly as a wave of fierce jealousy lit up her eyes. It was an emotion so intense that it threatened to swallow her whole. It was Raegan's natural ability to capture Mitchel's devoted love that made Katie so bitterly jealous.

Clenching her jaw, Katie snapped, “This is all your fault!”

Raegan replied with annoying calm: “You're wrong. Even if I hadn't come into the picture, Mitchel would never have fallen in love with you.

In matters of the heart, meeting the desired one before others did not matter much. Logic didn't apply here. The harsh reality was simple. Love couldn't be forced. Getting someone out of the way did not automatically cause the desired person to develop the expected affection.

Tragically, Katie's inability to understand this simple truth led her down a path of reckless and misguided actions.

At the entrance, a swarm of police burst in, followed by a crowd of journalists.

Katie's composure broke as she yelled at Raegan, "You called the media!"

“Yes,” Raegan confirmed, nodding seriously.
