Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Raegan took it all in silently. Then, after a thoughtful pause, he asked, "How long was I gone?"
Nicole, surprised by the question, responded: "Seven days."
Raegan blinked slowly, taking in the information. Those seven days had seemed like a lifetime.
Erick came to visit her briefly. Nicole helped Raegan get cleaned up before Erick had to leave.
With a hot towel, Nicole tenderly wiped Raegan's face, whose calm demeanor hid deep sadness.
Raegan didn't resist. He ate his meals, took his medicine, and ended up staying in the hospital for another week.
One day, Annis brought Janey in and gently explained that Raegan was a little sick.
Janey, acting very mature, calmly left some fruit for Raegan before they had to leave.
Shortly after, Raegan returned to her usual life, diving into her daily routine and work as if nothing had changed.
Meanwhile, the Dixon Group remained silent about Mitchel's condition, news they were unwilling to share.
At West Lake Villa, Erick arrived around noon, clutching a document.
Watching Raegan fuss with the tea and snacks, he was overcome with conflicting feelings.
It had been two weeks since Raegan had woken up, and yet she hadn't talked about Mitchel or asked about him even once.
That silence worried Erick deeply.
As Raegan approached with the tea, Erick uttered, âRaegan, we need to talk.â
Raegan stopped when she saw the handwriting she knew so well on the document. He gently suggested, âHow about I bring you some fruit first?â
It was clear that he was avoiding the topic.
But Erick couldn't allow her to continue avoiding him. He took her arm firmly and led her to the sofa with a serious voice. «I'm not going to eat anything. Sit down.â
Erick was perhaps too forceful as Raegan stumbled a bit.
Erick quickly crouched down, asking worriedly, âHave I hurt you?â
"I'm not well". Raegan sat stiffly, looking much thinner than before. She looked fragile, as if a gust of wind could carry her away.
Erick's heart ached more every time he looked at her. âRaegan, left this for you.â
Erick gave the document to Raegan.
Raegan's hands shook as she opened the folder, revealing a will. Just seeing the word "will" made his fingers tremble. The paper felt thin in his hands, almost too delicate to hold.
