«Lauren, wake up! I have heard them. "They are planning to make us both disappear forever!" Raegan blurted out.

Doubt flickered in Lauren's eyes, and her grip weakened a little.

Raegan urgently implored, “Lauren, we don't have the luxury of time. They plan to finish us off soon. Let's unite to put an end to them. We can settle our own scores later.”

Raegan's calmness made Lauren doubt whether she was the scapegoat for his plans, as Raegan had warned.

Loosening her grip, Lauren hissed a warning: “Stay still. "I'm going to check it out."
