Chapter 664
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
? ? ? ? ?
"Why such a rush?" Katie settled into a seat. "I haven't even shared what I'm looking for yet."
Professionally, Raegan asked, "And what exactly are you looking for, Miss Glyn?"
"I'm here for a custom engagement dress." Noticing Raegan's reaction, Katie seemed to perk up. With a smug look, he rubbed his stomach. "And if I like the way it looks, I might buy my wedding dress from this studio too!"
When Katie finished her work, she stood proudly, clearly waiting for Raegan to ask her about her engagement.
But Raegan's reaction was anything but curious. He said, "Very well, Miss Glyn, don't hesitate to tell me whatever you need."
Katie was surprised by Raegan's disinterest. How was it possible that Raegan didn't want to know more?
This indifference made it difficult for Katie to move on to the decision the board made about Mitchel.
Irritated, Katie challenged Raegan: âWhat's the rush? Do you think I can't cover the cost?
Raegan smiled. «I have other clients waiting. We are dedicated to making dresses, not to chatting. If you just want to chat, maybe it's better to go to a cafe.
Raegan wasn't normally this abrupt with her clients, but Katie had cornered her more than once, making pleasantries unnecessary.
Katie, to tell the truth, wasn't here to place an order. The thought of wearing something personalized by Raegan was unbearable.
"I said I'm here to place an order!" Katie announced.
Raegan raised an eyebrow. "Custom orders start with a deposit."
"How much does it cost?" Katie asked.
"Ten percent."
Without hesitation, Katie paid with her card and stated, âPlease hand the dress over to the Dixon Group to sign for once it is ready. The remaining payment will come from the accounts of the Dixon Group.
She doubted Raegan would be able to maintain her composure upon hearing this.
However, Raegan responded with a smile: "Of course, Miss Glyn." He showed no signs of displeasure.
Katie couldn't contain herself any longer and led the conversation.
"Miss Foster, did you know that the Dixon Group has undergone a major personnel change today?"
Looking up, Raegan asked, âMiss Glyn, do you have a preference for white or red?â
Katie was visibly upset, her teeth clenched. That little bitch didn't give an answer! "It doesn't matter. Prepare both. I have already paid, so I will decide later.
Raegan gathered all the necessary details and stood up, saying slowly, âI'll get the design sketches to you in a week or so. Just a heads up, we are open to making changes to designs, but we cannot return them once made, and the deposit will not be returned.
It was a fair policy. After all, sometimes the sketches were worth more than the dress itself. Besides, if everyone agreed, there would be no problems.
