Chapter 629

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

? ? ? ? ?

Despite his rigorous fitness regimen and good looks, Davey's appearance suggested he was in his mid-thirties.

Casey, maintaining her youthful appearance without any signs of aging, could easily pass for a woman in her thirties despite the years she had been asleep.

Davey's expression, a mixture of light and shadow, was difficult to read.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

“Come in,” Davey commented.

A doctor entered the room.

Davey reassured Casey: "The doctor's here to see you. "There's no need to worry."

Casey nodded weakly.

After the exam, Davey and the doctor left.

Davey's commanding presence was palpable.

The doctor, in a timid voice, reported: "Mr. Glyn, there are no physical abnormalities, but the brain clot persists, although smaller. Acupuncture seems to be working. Continuing with acupuncture could be beneficial…”

“Get to the point,” Davey cut him off sharply.

"Hey?" The doctor was perplexed.

Davey's grimace was piercing. "Did you not realize your mental disorientation?" Casey had just claimed she was eighteen.

The doctor looked down. "I didn't realize it, but he seems mentally stable."

"Stable?" Davey's smile carried a trace of contempt. “Is that all you have gathered after your evaluation?”

The doctor felt the weight of Davey's icy gaze, as if he were being judged. He hurriedly knelt down, his plea for forgiveness resounding loudly. "Please, Mr. Glyn, please forgive me..."

«Considering that today marks Casey's awakening, I will overlook it. However…” Davey’s temper flared as he grabbed the doctor’s hair, his tone icy. “Roll away right now!”

The layout of the mansion was intricate, with a ramp leading to the grand entrance on one side and descending into a deep basement on the other.

Without delay, the doctor slipped away, stumbling down the stairs in his haste. It looked like a rolling ball, descending rapidly step by step.

Relief washed over the doctor when he escaped with his life.

In recent years, Davey had fired numerous doctors. Each of them met a tragic end or died suddenly.

The mere mention of Davey's name sent shivers down many doctors' spines. The pay was considerable, but it was like risking your life. No amount of money was worth his life.

However, once Davey summoned them, refusing his call meant certain death. The lucky ones survived one or two more years.
