Chapter 611

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

? ? ? ? ?

Raegan looked at him determinedly. "I've had feelings for you for a long time."

"How long ago?"

"Ten whole years."

“What… what do you mean…?” Mitchel, normally so good with words, suddenly found himself stuttering at Raegan's revelation.

I was totally amazed. Had Raegan said she liked him for ten whole years?

Raegan felt a little embarrassed. She was introverted and always kept her feelings to herself, especially when it came to matters of the heart. If it hadn't been for Mitchel's selfless rescue and sincere confession of his feelings, he would have kept this secret buried inside him.

“I like you…” Raegan looked down, fiddling with her fingers as she finally let go. «Mitchel, I have silently liked you for ten years. "You have always been the only one in my heart."

Everything seemed to freeze in that moment.

For Mitchel, the surrounding noise faded into a distant hum. Raegan had liked him for ten whole years.

Mitchel, momentarily forgetting about his injuries, tried to sit up quickly, but was met with acute pain. He hissed in pain.

Panicking, Raegan gently pushed him to the ground again, insisting, “Stay still! Are you okay? Do we have to call a doctor? Anxiety and worry showed on his face, and he reached out to press the button to call the doctor.

Mitchel stopped Raegan by grabbing her hand. “Raegan…”

Despite his pain, he paid no attention to his injuries. His mind was a whirlwind of shock.

«Was it really me who you had liked for ten years?» He was in disbelief, fearing he had heard wrong or simply got his hopes up. «Did you pinch me? Am I dreaming?

His excitement was evident, bringing Raegan's hand to his face to pinch himself and confirm the reality for himself. "It's not a dream!" he exclaimed.

Raegan was amused by his reaction, beaming. He felt an overwhelming tenderness. Seeing this side of Mitchel, surprised and bewildered, was a delightful contrast.

Raegan's voice, soft and sweet, carried her confession. "Mitchel, I've had feelings for you for a long time!"

Mitchel's face showed more emotions than ever, showing a mix of joy and amazement. “When was that exactly?”

Raegan's face fell as she remembered the past. "Do you remember I asked you if you had ever been to Tenassie?"

"Yeah". Mitchel did remember. It was when they were returning from giving their condolences to their grandmother.

He thought about it for a bit but confirmed that he had never visited Tenassie.

However, when Raegan mentioned it again, he began to connect the dots. "Did our paths cross there?"

Raegan confirmed with a shake of her head: “At the time, I went to high school in Tenassie. My grandmother had no income and my uncle was not trustworthy. To alleviate my grandmother's financial burden, I dedicated myself to my studies in the hope of obtaining scholarships. The school recognized my efforts, rewarding me with scholarships for three years and covering all my tuition and boarding expenses. However, this generosity of the school aroused the envy of some classmates. One Friday, on the way back to my grandmother's house, they confronted me on the road. Even though I was outnumbered, I stood my ground and defended myself with a brick.

This memory was vivid in Raegan's mind. At that moment I only had one thought. Showing weakness would only invite more harassment. She was determined to be strong and show them that she was no pushover.
