Chapter 529
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Raegan pointed the camera at her food, listing the dishes. "Steamed radish, broccoli and sea bass salad."
«It looks delicious, but you're missing a soup. "Who cooked?"
âThe housekeeper,â Raegan said.
"What are you going to cook for me?" Mitchel asked suddenly.
Reflecting briefly, still unsure, Raegan mockingly replied, âAs if you have a choice. You will eat everything I prepare.
Mitchel smiled warmly at her playful challenge. «I am easy to please.
Whatever you do will be perfect.
"And when do you want the food?"
Mitchel watched her eating a piece of broccoli, finding her expression endearingly cute. «How about tomorrow night? Are you available? »
If it weren't for the fact that he had an important meeting the next morning, his impatience would have made it impossible for him to wait! I was exceptionally eager to see her!
Raegan thought about her schedule. I had to deliver some medications the next day due to a previous commitment, but that was scheduled for the afternoon. The delivery was in Ashfield, a quiet suburb of Ardlens. It would take just over an hour to arrive. I could probably come back in the afternoon.
âTomorrow night is fine,â Raegan said.
Mitchel calmed down even more, delighted by his confirmation.
He then playfully focused on her lips and joked, "Your lips..."
"What's wrong with them?" Raegan asked, checking her reflection but not noticing anything unusual.
"Tilt your ear and I'll whisper it to you," Mitchel said, in a playful tone.
Curious and slightly wary, Raegan put the phone to her ear.
Then, he heard her voice, soft and seductive, whispering to him closely.
"Your lips invite a kiss."
A wave of blush washed over Raegan's face in an instant. Surrounded by people, that flirtatious comment seemed excitingly sweet.
Their intimate banter, amidst the noise of the crowd, gave Raegan the feeling that they were deeply in love.
Raegan scolded lightly, âThere's a crowd hereâ¦â
Mitchel's smile turned mischievous. "That's why I whispered it, just for you."
His charm radiated across the screen, disarmingly attractive.
Raegan's heartbeat quickened, stirred by feelings she couldn't quite understand. In the midst of his accelerated heartbeat, a sweet sensation welled up from the depths of his heart. âI should get back to my job,â he said, his voice tinged with a slight outburst.
Noticing his cheeks turning red, Mitchel's expression softened.
"Be careful not to overwork yourself."
"Be careful with your arm..." Raegan's concern for Mitchel flowed without her realizing it. She paused, surprised that Mitchel was equally surprised by Raegan's concern. Then, looking deeply into the camera, he said, "Now I want to kiss you even more."
Raegan was speechless.
His face blushed even more. "Can't you think of something else?"
âI canât,â Mitchel said, his gaze intense, making the moment feel profound. "I miss you so much."
Raegan's eyes fluttered and her cheeks flushed. She was sure that if he were here, he could "consume" her.
âI⦠need to hang up now.â Raegan quickly ended the call. He reflected on their growing closeness, wondering if it was becoming too much.
At that moment a receptionist from the studio approached. "Ms. Foster, Mr. Matteo Jenkins is here to see you.â
âPlease show him in,â Raegan said.
Matteo entered, placing a wooden box of food on his table. âMiss Foster, Mr. Dixon sent you this soup. "Let him enjoy it."
After transmitting his message, Matteo left.
Raegan looked at the container of food and recognized that it came from the South River restaurant. It was at a notable distance. So, was Mitchel ordering soup for her during their conversation?
Raegan lifted the lid of the container and the aroma spread throughout the room. It contained the restaurant's famous four-cup soup.
Upon tasting it, she felt a comforting warmth spread through her, sweetening her mood even more.
Then he pulled out his phone to look up recipes, recognizing his rusty cooking skills. It was time to choose a dish.
The next day.
Raegan walked straight out of her office after finishing a morning full of tasks. She had been watching for three days to make sure she was not being followed.
To play it safe, Raegan had her family's chauffeur pretend to take her home, creating the illusion that she was inside the car.
Meanwhile, she got behind the wheel herself, opting for a less conspicuous underground route.
He trusted the navigator for half the trip.
Suddenly, the car made a loud âbang!â
Suddenly, the tire on Raegan's car burst. Immediately, the front of the car began to slide.
Raegan jumped. He suddenly thought about what Mitchel had told him during his driving tests and tried to stay calm.
Pressing the brake hard could cause the car to roll over.
Raegan gripped the steering wheel firmly and gently stepped on the brake.
