Chapter 468
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Had it not been for Luis's enlightening words, Mitchel would have remained in the dark.
Sensing visitors, Raegan inadvertently glanced over and her smile froze when she saw Mitchel.
Mitchel stood tall and imposing in the doorway, his head almost touching the frame. His shadowed face radiated an unmistakable aura of dominance.
Raegan noticed complex feelings in Mitchel's eyes. It seemed like a deep, heartbreaking pain.
Stefan, noticing Raegan's reaction, followed her gaze. Setting his eyes on Mitchel, he shook Raegan's hand even more.
Raegan jumped. Unconsciously he wanted to get out of Stefan's grip. But when he realized it, the idea scared him. Why didn't she want Mitchel to see another man holding her hand? They didn't have any relationship anymore, right?
Mitchel walked into Raegan's living room. His handsome face was expressionless, but somehow emitted a chilling coldness.
As soon as he was in front of them, he looked at Stefan and coldly ordered, "Get out."
But Stefan was unfazed by Mitchel's icy behavior. He wanted to say something, but Raegan stopped him.
Raegan stepped forward, looked at Mitchel, and said coldly, "Mitchel, you're the one who needs to go."
His words were so harsh that Mitchel felt like they were breaking him. He was about to lose his nerve. Fortunately, he was able to restrain himself.
Mitchel took Janey from Stefan's arms and hugged her tightly. Looking at her little face, his eyes turned red. âJaneyâ¦â His voice was a little hoarse.
This emotionally charged call startled Raegan.
Stefan, momentarily surprised, allowed Mitchel to take Janey.
He quickly tried to get it back, saying, âMr. Dixon, please give me Janey back.
Mitchel, who had been holding back his anger in front of Janey, with an icy look replied, "Who do you think you are to order me to give it back to you?"
The more Raegan listened, the more she felt like something was wrong. His heart began to beat wildly. He reached out to push Janey away and said sternly, âMitchel, what are you doing? Let go of my daughter!
Mitchel seemed cold and restrained. He stared at Raegan for a while and asked coldly, "Are you sure she's just your daughter?"
Raegan was taken aback, not expecting such a sudden question. For a brief moment, his thoughts were in chaos. Her grip on Janey's clothes tightened involuntarily and her knuckles turned white from the pressure.
Mitchel watched Raegan intently, not even blinking. She found herself wishing, in that moment, that Raegan would simply say, Yes, Janey is just my daughter. That would mean that she knew nothing of the mystery surrounding Janey's paternity, which would make him feel a little better.
But Raegan's averted gaze and the involuntary tightening of her grip told him all he needed to know. I knew he was Janey's biological father. Worse still, he tried to hide it from her.
Janey, who was still in Mitchel's arms, didn't understand what Mitchel and Raegan were talking about, but she sensed that Mitchel was being mean to her mother.
She began to scream in anguish: "Daddy Mitchel is bad... let me go... Don't bully my mommy!"
Crying, Janey hit Mitchel's chest with her small fists, repeating: "Bad dad Mitchel, bad daddy..."
As angry children were wont to do, Janey's chant of "bad daddy Mitchel" soon turned to "bad daddy" between sobs.
This made Raegan's heart beat faster. Hurriedly, she reprimanded, âJaney, be polite!â How could Janey call Mitchel âDaddy Mitchelâ or âBad Daddyâ? Where had they come from?
Janey, who initially wanted to stick up for Raegan, now felt aggrieved that Raegan was scolding her, prompting her to seek comfort in Mitchel's arms.
Raegan felt lost. She didn't want to scold Janey, but she reacted in the moment.
However, Mitchel's actions left her dumbfounded.
Despite having been assertive before, he was now gently comforting Janey, stroking her back.
Once Janey seemed a little calmer, Mitchel gently explained, "Janey, honey, your mommy isn't mad at you, and I'm not arguing with your mommy..."
He looked at Raegan and added, "We're just trying to talk about some things we need to figure out."
With tears still in her eyes, Janey looked up and asked uncertainly, âReally? Daddy, aren't you being mean to my mommy?
Hearing Janey call him "dad" warmed Mitchel's heart, immediately erasing any feelings of displeasure. "I promise you with all my heart that I will never be mean to you or your mommy."
Janey's mood improved slightly and, with a pout, she murmured, "Dad, you have to remember what you said. If you lie, your nose will grow.
Raegan, feeling a headache coming on, couldn't understand when Janey started comfortably calling Mitchel "dad." Janey had never called anyone daddy. Although Stefan had been kind to Janey, she only called him sweetly by his first name. This had to end.
Raegan asked Annis to take Janey outside to play for a bit.
Annis approached. Mitchel took one look at Annis and decided she was trustworthy. Only then did he gently set Janey down and hand her to Annis.
"Make sure he doesn't play near stairs, talk to strangers, or wander around crowded areas. This is a hospital and it is full of germsâ¦â Mitchel's extensive list of instructions left both Annis and Raegan momentarily speechless.
Raegan had never seen a man get so worked up.
Annis, understanding his concern, replied, "Understood, sir." Then, he took Janey away.
Now there were only three people left in the room. Stefan had remained silent, watching everything unfold. He had mistakenly thought that Janey was Raegan's daughter with another man. This was mainly because he was not one to gossip, nor had he asked Erick about it.
However, now it seemed that Janey was really Mitchel's daughter, and Mitchel's actions showed that she was fully aware of the situation.
Seeing Stefan standing next to Raegan, Mitchel became visibly irritated. He quickly pulled Raegan's arm, pulling her forcefully to his side, causing her to lose her balance.
