Chapter 335

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

? ? ? ? ?

Mitchel, without flinching, replied: "They couldn't come to dinner.

Shall we start?

Raegan, speechless, doubted his sincerity.

Deciding to leave, since there were no other guests, she smelled the tempting aroma of the dishes on the table.

Just after getting up, his stomach growled loudly. What a shame!

Mitchel pointed toward the food and asked quietly, "Are you sure you want to leave now?"

Raegan was speechless. Damn! He knew her too well.

The table was full of his favorite dishes.

Raegan answered hesitantly, "I guess it would be a shame to let all this go to waste."

Hearing this, Mitchel leaned in suddenly, his eyes burning with intensity. “Before you enjoy the dishes, can I ask you something?”

They were so close that Raegan could smell his cologne, making her heart race. Was he trying to seduce her?

She leaned back, feeling a little uncomfortable, and asked, "What is that?"

"Are you happy?" Mitchel asked.

“What do you mean exactly?” Reagan asked, a little taken aback by his question.

Mitchel leaned closer, backing Raegan against the wall. “I mean, are you happy with how I handled things, honey?”

Mitchel's warm breath enveloped Raegan.

Mitchel leaned nonchalantly with his right arm over the back of the chair. His lips were mere inches from Raegan's face.

Raegan's heart raced with nervousness, almost choking her.

Memories of the scene where Mitchel kissed and bit her the other day flooded her mind. The marks of that encounter still remained on his skin and served as a visible reminder during showers.

Embarrassment made Raegan blush as she thought about it.

She tried to back away, only to find herself cornered against the cold wall, chilled by the air conditioning.

Facing Mitchel, who was so close she could almost feel his lips on hers, Raegan stammered a warning: "If... If you come any closer, I'll call the police and sue you for sexual assault!"

Mitchel responded with a laugh and his finger playfully stroked her forehead.

“Ah!” Raegan's pretty face twisted in discomfort and she instinctively covered her forehead with her hand as she glared at him.

With a smile, Mitchel gently touched the tip of Raegan's nose. "Well, you could call this domestic abuse," she said.

His voice sounded almost like music to her ears. Raegan's face immediately flushed red.

Raegan soon realized that her words were hinting at something. It suggested they were a couple.

He looked away from Mitchel and awkwardly changed the conversation. «Aren't you hungry? "The food is getting cold."

At her words, Mitchel leaned back and watched Raegan eat.

The table was set with all of Raegan's favorite dishes. It's not that she wasn't used to good food. After all, the Foster family employed a Michelin-starred chef. Only the dishes prepared by his family's chef were missing something. However, both the ingredients and the cooking methods of the dishes at this restaurant were more to his liking.

Mitchel rolled up his sleeves, put on the special gloves, and slowly prepared the crab meat for Raegan.

Raegan really liked crabs, but eating them was a hassle.

Sometimes he even cut his fingers on the shells. Given his delicate health, even a small cut could cause an infection.

At home, the staff only served him pre-processed crab meat, to avoid risks. That's why Raegan never ate crabs in restaurants.

To his amazement, Mitchel demonstrated surprising skill. In no time, he had cleanly peeled several crabs on his plate.

It was crab season, so the seafood was super fresh and juicy, and the aroma made Raegan's mouth water.

I didn't expect Mitchel to be a crab lover. As a seafood lover, watching Mitchel skillfully peel the crabs in front of her was almost torture.

Struggling to control her craving, Raegan looked away, stood up, and declared, “I'm full. "I should go home now."

Mitchel took off his gloves, stopped her, and made her sit back down in the seat.

Then he placed a plate of succulent crab meat in front of him.

"Finish this first," he said lightly.

Raegan, taken aback, asked, "Aren't you going to have anything?"

Mitchel's eyes darkened slightly. Then he remembered that Raegan had lost her memory and didn't remember her shellfish allergy.

"I can't eat seafood because of my allergy, so it's all for you."

Mitchell explained.

This revelation made Raegan feel uncomfortable, as if she were sitting on a bed of thorns. She hadn't realized that Mitchel was preparing the crab meat for her.

As Raegan stared at the plate full of crab meat, she thought about her current relationship and felt like she shouldn't give in so easily.

He thought about rejecting the gesture and even considered throwing the crab meat in the trash, which would undoubtedly anger Mitchel.

Raegan was indecisive, debating with herself.

In the end, he justified accepting the food because he didn't want to waste it.

With a smile, he thanked her: “Thank you, then.”

And he began to devour the seafood hungrily.

Mitchel watched her enjoy the food and his expression became distant for a moment. His mind was flooded with memories of the past. In the days leading up to the incident with Raegan's car, Raegan had been deeply unhappy and had lost her smile.

Mitchel was filled with mixed feelings. Maybe what Erick said was true. It was a blessing that Raegan had forgotten those dark times.
