Chapter 325
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
? ? ? ? ?
Raegan was telling the truth. She had suffered from memory loss due to the car accident. I wasn't pretending. I had no idea who Mitchel was.
However, Mitchel did not notice his anomaly or preferred to ignore it. He was determined to keep Raegan with him, even going so far as to try to consummate their relationship to convince himself it wasn't a dream.
Leaning slightly, elbows on either side, Mitchel suppressed his desire and said hoarsely, âYou couldn't remember me because we haven't been together in so long. Let me help you remember something, okay?
Mitchel deftly loosened the buttons on his shirt with slender hands and lowered his head.
Suddenly, the sound of a loud slap interrupted the surreal moment as Raegan hit him square in the face. The man on top of him seemed to have lost touch with reality.
Through clenched teeth, Raegan snapped, âAre you crazy? I told you that I don't know you. I have a husband, but it's not you.
"You've confused me with someone else."
Mitchel's handsome face darkened, his voice now dangerous and serious: "What did you just say?"
In defiance, Raegan flaunted the platinum diamond ring on her finger, huffing. «Are you blind? I am married".
The dazzling diamond on the ring shone like a sharp blade, momentarily stunning Mitchel. Undeterred, he attempted to forcibly remove the ring from Raegan's finger.
Seeing this, Raegan instinctively covered her hand, protecting the ring. «Hey, you! What do you think you're doing? For!"
However, he was no match for Mitchel's strength.
After removing the ring from Raegan's hand, Mitchel threw it into the trash can in a surge of anger.
With a sad expression in his eyes, he asked: "Have you married another?"
No one knew the depth of Mitchel's torment over the past five years.
Grief had made him live like the living dead.
And now, every time he thought about Raegan marrying another man, he felt like he was losing his mind.
He felt as if lightning had struck his heart, and an unbearable pain was taking over him.
A single tear fell from Mitchel's bloodshot eyes and landed on the palm of Raegan's hand.
The warm tear seemed to carry her deep sadness.
Eyes filling with tears, Mitchel demanded, âHave you ever thought about my feelings? You are my wife. Can't you understand it?
Upon hearing this, Raegan found Mitchel's accusation so absurd that she responded firmly, "No, that's not true."
«Is that so? Do you want me to prove it to you? After saying that, Mitchel forcefully pushed her onto the bed, holding her wrists before pounced on her.
His eyes shone with a disturbing eagerness, similar to those of a predator approaching its prey.
"Let go of me, bastard!" Raegan struggled to escape his grasp.
Suddenly, just as Mitchel leaned over, a crash echoed through the room as the door was kicked open.
A man ran in, knocked Mitchel off the bed and onto the floor while punching him in the face.
Unwilling to be subdued, Mitchel immediately counterattacked. In a matter of seconds, she turned the tables and kneed him in the neck, leaving him pale and defeated.
Panicking, Raegan recognized the man lying on the ground. Without hesitation, he grabbed an ashtray from the tea table and smashed it into the back of Mitchel's head.
A dull sound filled the room.
Surprised, Mitchel let go of the man. Although the ashtray fell heavily to the floor, it was still intact. However, Raegan's actions broke her heart.
In the ensuing chaos, blood dripped from the back of his head.
Mitchel raised his head slowly, his face full of disbelief.
Although Raegan wore a worried expression, her concern was directed at the man. Ignoring Mitchel's injury, he hurriedly walked over and pushed him away.
Although Raegan lacked strength, Mitchel felt deep disappointment when Raegan pushed him away.
Raegan helped the man on the ground to his feet. Tears ran down her face. "Erick... Erick... Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me,â Erick responded as he stood up with Raegan's help.
Truth be told, Erick was a formidable fighter, although dealing with the four bodyguards had exhausted his strength. His concern for R aegan led him to employ extreme measures, injuring himself in the process. Therefore, he was unable to defeat Mitchel.
Seeing Raegan's disheveled clothes, Erick felt his fists clench involuntarily. He quickly took off his coat and draped it over his shoulders.
"Are you OK?" Erick asked, genuine concern on his face.
Raegan only seemed to care about Erick's well-being as she nodded with teary eyes.
Even though Mitchel had kissed her, Raegan had cleverly thwarted his advances with a well-placed kick. Therefore, he did not take much advantage of it.
At Raegan's response, a hint of compassion softened Erick's previously grim expression.
In this shared moment of worry, Raegan and Erick were oblivious to Mitchel's presence.
Annoyed, Mitchel grabbed Raegan's arm and pulled her toward him indignantly. "Come here!"
âBehave, Mr. Dixon! Please refrain from touching my sister any further.â Erick intervened, stepping forward to protect Raegan.
Erick did not hesitate to address Mitchel by his last name, cutting off any pretense given that Raegan and Mitchel already knew each other. There was no need for him to feign ignorance. Furthermore, he had taken the initiative to investigate Mitchel, leaving no room for hidden truths.
"Is she your sister?" Narrowing his eyes, Mitchel remembered his previous encounter with Erick. It occurred to him that Erick was the father of the lovely girl he had met earlier.
