Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Therefore, he would accept Raegan's son no matter what. He would sincerely comfort her and help her not worry. Someday he would make him confess the truth about the boy.
However, anger surged in Raegan's heart when she heard Mitchel's words. It immediately exploded. "Mitchel, weren't you the one who lied to me all this time?"
She thought that this supposed contractual marriage was nothing more than his way of trapping her.
Mitchel was sincere: «I haven't lied to you. I admit that I had selfish motives when I remarried you. But even if my grandfather had nothing to do with it, I still wanted to marry you again. So let's spend our days together. Don't overthink things. No matter what happens, I won't let you go.
Raegan forced herself to remain numb as she heard his words.
She knew that if she got too excited, Mitchel would lock her up again. And I would always keep a close eye on her.
He felt bitterness in his heart. But he forced a smile and said quietly, âOkay. Take me to see Nicole first.
Mitchel was stunned by Raegan's reaction. He looked her in the eyes and asked again, âRaegan, what did you just say?â
Raegan put on a calm smile and replied quietly, "I'm not leaving."
âRaeganâ¦â Mitchel held her tightly in his arms. His heart was full of joy. He was like a happy child who had recovered the most precious toy he had lost.
âRaegan, you have to trust me about the Lauren thing. "I won't lie to you."
Raegan stared blankly out the car window and said quietly, âI trust you.â
But deep down, she no longer trusted him.
The Raegan who always chose to trust Mitchel in the past no longer existed.
Mitchel sensed something was wrong. He couldn't believe Raegan changed so easily.
Raegan tried her best to suppress the emotions in her heart. He said quietly, âCan you take me to see Nicole quickly?â
Knowing what had happened to the Lawrence family, Mitchel couldn't help but frown. He focused on the road and led Raegan to the dueling room.
Raegan saw Nicole sitting on the side of the mourning room. The flow of guests came and went, but Nicole remained motionless. It was as if he didn't see anything. She was sitting there like a lifeless doll.
Jarrod was there too, but he kept his distance from Nicole. He sat on the other side, away from the main room.
Nicole always became agitated and lost control when she saw Jarrod. Jarrod feared distressing her further, so he stayed as far away from her as possible while watching her.
Raegan didn't even spare Jarrod a glance, even when Mitchel chatted with him. Raegan headed straight to the main room.
After paying her respects to the dead, Raegan approached Nicole and sat down next to her.
Raegan called out softly, âNicoleâ¦â
Raegan realized she was at a loss for words. Her tears ran down her face uncontrollably. He could only reach out and hug Nicole tightly.
Raegan's soft voice touched Nicole's numb heart.
Finally, Nicole lost control of the emotions she had been suppressing.
It collapsed. He hugged Raegan tightly again and sobbed into her arms.
Both Raegan and Nicole were crying uncontrollably as if no one else was around. The depression and pain were too much for them.
After venting her emotions, Raegan helped Nicole go to the other side of the hallway to rest. Mitchel and Jarrod did not follow.
They knew that Raegan and Nicole had a lot to talk about in private.
As soon as Raegan and Nicole walked away, Raegan immediately asked, "Nicole, why did your father kill himself?"
Nicole sighed. "Because of the company."
Raegan asked again, âSo what are you planning to do now?â
Nicole shook her head. I honestly didn't know what to do. Dora was sick at home and she alone had to take care of the preparations for her father's funeral. My head was in a mess.
Until now, he still couldn't accept the fact that things had turned out like this.
Nicole hoped it was all just a nightmare. When he woke up, he could still find Wesson resting at home. She, Dora and Wesson would continue living as a happy family of three. They would be together until the end.
However, everything before her reminded Nicole of the truth. No matter what happened, it was no longer possible for them to be together.
Raegan and Nicole hugged and cried for a while, hoping to release the heaviness in their hearts.
Raegan stayed a while to accompany Nicole. When he was about to leave, he remembered something. He asked Nicole, "Nicole, do you have your phone with you?" Can you lend it to me? "I need to make a call."
Nicole handed the phone to Raegan without hesitation. Nicole was surprised that Raegan didn't even know how to use her phone. Raegan must have been having a hard time under Mitchel's watchful eye.
When Raegan left, Nicole returned to her seat and sat there again, motionless.
The sun had set and the sky was getting dark. At this moment, an unexpected guest arrived in the mourning room.
Jamie entered with a bouquet of roses in her hand. He was wearing a black wool coat. Jarrod went out to smoke, so they didn't meet.
Jamie walked straight into the mourning room, intending to pay his respects. But suddenly she was stopped by a furious roar: "Get out of here!"
Although there were only a few people in the mourning room at the time, Jamie felt a little embarrassed after being yelled at.
Nicole, I have come of good will to pay my respects to your father. How can you be so rude to your guest?
Nicole looked at Jamie with reddened eyes. He said through clenched teeth: âYou are not welcome here. Your presence will only stain my father's name and disturb his peaceful rest.
âPeaceful rest?â Jamie smiled sarcastically and replied, "Do you really think your father can rest in peace?"
Nicole no longer wanted to waste her energy arguing with Jamie. So he said coldly, âAre you going to leave alone or do I have to have the security guards drag you out?â
