Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Meanwhile, Jarrod was with Jamie for their pre-wedding checkup.
It was a week until their wedding.
The venue was set, hotel reservations were made, and invitations had been sent out. All the details were meticulously organized.
During the lengthy exam, Jarrod texted Nicole, but received no response. He frowned, annoyed. He knew she had no sense of gratitude.
What a fool he was to have gone to the trouble of hiring a cardiologist for his father.
Jarrod had his plans for Nicole well thought out, especially after marrying Jamie.
Nicole's father's illness required more than just an operation. As long as Nicole needed his help to save her father, he would have to comply with her demands.
In other words, Nicole had no way to escape his clutches.
After waiting about 3Q minutes, Jarrod received no response from Nicole. He tried to call her, but was redirected to her voicemail.
This only increased his frustration. He scoffed at the thought that she was ignoring his calls.
Enraged, Jarrod called Alec and ordered him, "Find out where Nicole is."
Shortly after, Jamie left the examination room. She enthusiastically proposed to Jarrod that they come back now. She wanted to try on her wedding dress again, just for Jarrod.
With his schedules so hectic lately, Jarrod hadn't spent much time with Jamie lately. He had assured her that he would be by her side throughout the day.
On the way home, Jarrod's phone rang. It was Alec.
Jarrod answered the call using his Bluetooth headset.
After hearing Alec's words, Jarrod's normally stoic demeanor visibly cooled.
Bang! Without warning, he slammed on the brakes and made a sharp U-turn, speeding away in another direction.
Feeling a sudden sense of unease, Jamie asked, "Jarrod, where are we going?"
Jarrod didn't respond, his face a mask of cold determination as he continued driving.
âAh!â Suddenly, Jamie clutched his stomach, screaming in pain. "Jarrod, my stomach hurts so much."
Jarrod eased off the accelerator and looked at her with concern. "Does your stomach hurt?" he asked.
Jamie, sweat beading his forehead, nodded vigorously, wincing in pain.
«Yes, it hurts so muchâ¦Â».
In response, Jarrod stopped, quickly got out of the car, and carefully lifted Jamie out of the car.
