Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Raegan became even more alert. Instinctively he moved away. Not wanting to provoke Henley, she pretended to be shy and said, "Let's go... Start the car first."
Henley looked at her blushing face, feeling warm in her heart. He really liked it when she blushed. He smiled satisfied and started the car.
When the car got back on the road, Raegan couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
But the feeling of relief did not last long. Immediately, he realized that the direction they were heading in was becoming increasingly bleak again. Raegan had the feeling that they were moving away from Ardlens.
«Henley, this is not the way back. Do you have trouble remembering the right path? Raegan commented.
âNo,â Henley replied, looking ahead with a smile. "This road is a shortcut that goes to your house."
Raegan was speechless.
Finally, she realized he was talking about taking her home, not sending her home.
âSo where are we going?â
Raegan did her best to stay calm. But her trembling voice betrayed her âMelver,â Henley replied with a smile.
Raegan's face instantly paled upon hearing this.
In utter disbelief, Raegan gasped. "Henley, have you lost your damn mind?"
With a serene smile, Henley responded, âRaegan, I want to have you by my side all the time. I'm not looking for anything else here, only you.
"No!" Raegan shouted, her voice tinged with urgency. "Henley, I'm married!"
These words subtly altered Henley's normally calm expression.
A slight twitch crossed his handsome face as he replied, âRaegan, your previous marriage is of no concern to me.â
"It's not a previous marriage," Raegan clarified. "I remarried Mitchel."
Abruptly, Henley slammed on the brakes.
The abrupt stop propelled Raegan forward, colliding with her head on the shield of the passenger seat.
Eyes bloodshot, Henley turned to Raegan, demanding, âWhat did you just say?â
Raegan, clutching her throbbing head, revealed, âHenley, I remarried Mitchel yesterday. "I'm sure he'll come looking for me."
Silence enveloped the car.
The gentleness of Henley's face dissolved into a dark shadow.
He fixed his gaze on her, asking: "Why?"
