Chapter 196

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

? ? ? ? ?

Raegan was sulking. He wasn't defending Eloise. She was angry at Mitchel for sleeping with Eloise even though he had no intention of being with Eloise.

Wasn't he an irresponsible bastard?

Thinking about this, Raegan couldn't sit still. He got up in a rush, wanting to drink water to calm himself down.

But before she could stand her ground, Mitchel reached out his arms, wrapped them around her slim waist, and pulled her back.

Raegan fell and sat on the edge of the bed with Mitchel's strong arms around her waist.

From afar, you could tell that her entire figure was trapped between his arms in an intimate posture.

"Mitchel!" Raegan yelled angrily. She wanted to get out of bed, but she didn't dare to act rashly because of his injury. Afraid of hurting him, she could only turn her head and stare at him.

"Yeah?" Mitchel looked at her. His deep black eyes smiled.

"Let go of me."

Raegan tried to get out of his arms, but to no avail.

Mitchel grabbed her chin easily and pinched it.

"Explain to me what bastard means."

Raegan bit her lower lip. Then he said, “A bastard is a man who doesn't want to commit to a woman, but still... And that's you.

"You're a bastard."

Raegan despised Mitchel for playing with women.

Mitchel frowned at her response.

"That? I don't understand".

Raegan said vaguely, "That's..."

"That's what?"

Raegan crossed her fingers and said fiercely, "That's done!"

«Hold his hands? “No, I have never held her hand,” Mitchel explained, with a serious face.

"No, I didn't mean holding her hand."

“Then what?”

Mitchel deliberately pressed his slender, beautiful fingers between hers and asked, “What is this?”

Raegan's face flushed and turned even redder than a ripe tomato.

Knowing she was blushing, she turned her face to hide it.

He muttered through clenched teeth, "You're a rascal."

Mitchel smiled and teased her for a moment. Then he became serious and explained: "I've never done anything with her. How did you come to such a conclusion?

Raegan blinked several times. She asked in amazement: "Haven't you done it?"

Mitchell nodded.

"Never in my life."

He brought her hand to his crotch and said in a hoarse voice, "If you don't believe me, you can check it..."

Raegan's fingertips lightly brushed his crotch, which seemed to harden.

Raegan jerked away as if she'd been burned and snapped, "Mitchel, what's wrong with you?"

Mitchel raised his eyebrows.

«Be thankful that she is hurt.

Otherwise, I wouldn't be reasoning with you right now.

He pointed to the snow-white sheet beneath him and said meaningfully, “I’m going to press you here instead.”

Raegan's ears turned hot and red.

Was that really the only thing on his mind every time they were together?

Mitchel squeezed her palm and said, “Come on, tell me. What made you think I had done it?

Raegan didn't want to hide it from him.

«That night, I heard Eloise moaning outside the tent. He shouted your name.

Hearing this, Mitchel gently pinched the tip of his nose.

«And this is how you come to a conclusion? I wasn't in his tent that night. "It was in the store next door."

«Next to mine? How can it be?

Raegan frowned doubtfully.

“That store belonged to the worker Bryce hired, right?”

"We swapped," Mitchel explained.

Raegan was even more confused. If the person inside Eloise's tent wasn't Mitchel, who could it be?

Apart from Mitchel, there was only Bryce.

Mitchel noticed the confusion on Raegan's face.

"Maybe they drank too much that night."

Raegan was so shocked that she couldn't digest all the information.

Bryce was just a high school student, right?

Although he was already an adult at his age, he was still a child in her eyes.

Furthermore, his childishness and impulsivity prevented her from treating him like an adult.

“So, do you still have doubts?”

Mitchel took her hand and gently touched the flesh of her fingers.

He smiled and said, “It seems that my kissing skills were not so powerful anymore. You can't feel how much I want to do it with you..."

Mitchel's words were interrupted, he didn't want to push her away.

However, Raegan became nervous upon hearing his words. She pulled away, afraid he would actually do something.

Mitchel's face turned gloomy. He grabbed her waist and pulled her up.

"You shouldn't hide from me."

Mitchel held her face and stared at her. Her eyes were bright and charming at that moment. He told him: «I have told you everything.

Shouldn't it be your turn now?

«My… my turn? What do you mean?"

Raegan felt like her heart was in her throat.

«I just want to ask you a question. Be honest with me. You and Henley.

Mitchel paused. It was as if his mouth would taste bitter if he said those words.

After a while, he finally said it, albeit with difficulty: "Are you in a relationship?"

Something flashed in Raegan's eyes. She said without even looking at him, "It doesn't matter."

Mitchel reached out, grabbed her jaw, and lifted her face. He didn't allow her to lower her head and avoid his gaze.

Their eyes met. Tell me. "It's very important to me."

Although he seemed calm, his mind had long been in a mess.

It was important to him because it was related to how he would get her back.

He had investigated and discovered that the two had never spent a few hours together, except that night.

For him, this was a big problem.

He knew Raegan's magic. Any man who slept with her would want her again and again.

She didn't think any man could reject her, unless they preferred a man to an attractive woman.

Under the warm yellow light of the bedside table, Mitchel's facial features were well drawn. Her eyelashes were thick, which added to her attractiveness as she met his gaze.

Raegan swallowed hard. He didn't want to be tempted by her attractiveness, so he changed the subject.

«It is a private matter. "I don't want to answer."

But she didn't know that her refusal to give Mitchel a straight answer was ecstatic.

Mitchel knew Raegan too well. When he wanted to lie about something, he would look away and change the subject.

“You didn't do it, did you?”

Mitchel touched his forehead and repeated, "You didn't do it."

Raegan pushed his arm.

"It's none of your business."

Mitchel was amused. The more she behaved like this, the more she seemed like a child who lied.

Mitchel frowned, afraid that he wouldn't be able to hold back his laughter the next second.

He took her hand and put it on the wound in his chest. Then he said with a trace of humility and pleading in his tone, “Raegan, please don't lie to me.” This hurts a lot. Don't you feel sorry for me?

Raegan put on a straight face and continued with her performance.

"I'm not lying to you."

“Little liar,” Mitchel commented firmly.

"I don't care if you believe me or not," Raegan said calmly.

He took her hand off him and said, "Let go of me first."

"No, I won't," Mitchel stubbornly refused.

Raegan got angry. He pushed him away and stood up.

But he was surprised when he heard a loud bang.

It turned out that Mitchel collided with the nightstand. He groaned in pain.

Raegan was stunned. He didn't have much strength. How had he fallen like that?

But when he saw the cold sweat on her forehead and her pale face, he realized that something was really wrong with him.

He panicked immediately.

Mitchel was hurt. Even if Raegan didn't use much force, she might not resist.

When Raegan saw the beads of sweat on Mitchel's forehead, her heart skipped a beat. He quickly reached out to ring the doorbell.

But suddenly, Mitchel grabbed her hand and said, "You still haven't answered my question."
