Chapter 1490

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1490:

? ? ? ? ?

“Jarrod, are you really willing to go into conflict with the Hampton family over that crazy woman? Have you fully considered the consequences? Is she really worth it?”

"Mr. Hampton, mind your language. She is the mother of my child," Jarrod replied, his expression icy.

Jarrod's tone cut like ice. “I have always shown you respect. Please extend the same courtesy to her. Otherwise, there will be no further interaction between the Schultz and Hampton families.”

Jarrod's stance had evolved. If Wayne had not resorted to threats, he would not have been concerned about the financial repercussions. The wealth could always be recovered. But Wayne's opportunism and lack of gratitude were unbearable.

After all, his compensation was a considerable fortune. How shameless of Wayne to resort to threats after receiving such a large sum of money!

Wayne's complexion paled and he began to cough uncontrollably, mute. His pitiful state almost evoked pity.

Jarrod, maintaining an icy demeanor, activated the intercom with a decisive push. “Alec, be so kind as to escort Mr. Hampton out.”

Alec entered, observing Wayne's fragile state. Taking command without hesitation, he called two members of the security staff. “Escort Mr. Hampton with extreme care. If any harm comes to him, I will make sure that the responsibility falls on you. Is that clear?”

The two guards approached Wayne and grabbed his arm. Protesting, Wayne beat his chest and proclaimed, “Jarrod Schultz, mark my words! You will regret this day. Treating the Hampton family like this will bring you regret.”

The bodyguards quickly closed the door, completely cutting off Wayne's voice.

However, Wayne persisted with his angry roar: “Jarrod, you owe us an apology! You owe Vicki an apology. She is an exceptional girl, and that woman has mistreated her… You owe her an apology…”

Wayne's voice slowly faded away, probably due to the bodyguards dragging him away, although his muffled screams were still audible.

The guards couldn't cover his mouth completely. Wayne's age made them cautious, fearing they might accidentally suffocate him. That would be disastrous.

The employees on the same floor as the president's office began to murmur.

"Wayne is really pathetic. Mr. Schultz is too ruthless."

"Lower your voice or you'll be in trouble if Mr. Schultz hears you."

"I'm not afraid. If he dares to act like this, why should he fear people's opinions? I refuse to work for such a ruthless boss."
